Some suggestions i have of what I'd be interested in seeing.
- what happens if you have the medallions already at the beginning.
You could see what happens if you place them before you go and meet Elliott, and again after you've met Elliott, and again after the cut scene plays when you're told the other character is outside the police station. You could also try progressing the game, fight Birkin G1 and do the basement segment and see what happens, see if you can sort of "reset" the game into meeting Marvin the first time and getting the combat knife, etc.
- what happens if you play the game out of sync
In this, you'd use the walk through walls/elevation mods to go through the statue and straight into the G1 fight area. Immediately go through the parking garage, walk through the garage door and carry on from there. Complete the sewers segment, then go back to the station and play it as normal, going to meet Elliott, getting the medallions etc.
You could also see what happens if you used the T bar to open the statue up before getting the medallions.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles shows a version of RE2 where Leon and Claire never separate - they meet Sherry together, they meet Ada together, they fight Birkin together and they fight Mr X together

Hello, LinkuGames! Even if you don't see this, it's worth noting... I had the idea of having Claire act out Leon's story...and Leon would act out Claire's story as well. It's as if these two characters are going through different stories! Is this possible?!

Wait, if you're able to end the game without Sherry, what happens at the very end? Do you still have the scene of Claire, Chris and Sherry walking away, talking about adoptions, dogs and parrots? It'd look kinda weird it there was a conversation going on with no Sherry there...then again, it could be her ghost.

I really don’t know why you expect a difference in the cinematic. It’s a video set to play when you trigger it either by walking to a certain point or doing enough damage to an enemy.
True. There aren’t any model files in a cutscene (in the main game file, but of course there were models used in making the cutscene). The whole cutscene is just an MP4 file (no scripting or models). Even if the game’s scripting was messed up, it still won’t affect the cutscenes.
Sherry saying this way was more horrifying than Mr.X’s sudden wall attack 😱
