wow!!! Absolutely fabulous!! Your video for the resin Horsemen was what sold me on this game in the first place, so I was a bit nervous about how the plastic versions would come out, but these are phenomenal! The different position for the dragon wings also offer a few more good angles for viewing/photos, I noticed. A bit harder to paint the body and under-wings, but certainly still doable. Super excited to get my brush on all of these minis!
You know what i like about this? this is exactly what i saw from some of my big box kickstarters and i did almost the same things as you did when taking them out. What a trip down memory lane.
I bed you can freeze it and break it off cleanly. That works most of the time on board game minis (the glue they often use becomes brittle and breaks when cold where the plastic is fine).
I hope you have as much fun in receiving it as I just did :D IMO this is partially what you're buying when crowdfunding these games. It's got quite the presence!

I have backed the core Apocalypse pledge, having been on the fence about the huge models. Decided that I didn't need them and saved some money. I was surprised to see so many standees as I thought that it was just standees for the horsemen?
I'm slowly going through this vid. Got some friends that like seeing a glossary more so then an index, don't like moving to the page would rather have a summery of what going on with the mechanic their looking up. Personally it should have both.
I can't comment for other regions, but in the UK shipping in a giant box like that would be vastly more expensive than more smaller boxes, you'd need specalist couriers rather than standard ones and that costs ££££. There is a reason they are broken down.
The forteller narration is only for the 1.5 story. But there are some quirks like wrongly assigned narrations within the app. I really do hope forteller will fix this at some point. I have send them examples how it should be months ago.
I just got the 400 dollar all in from someone and excited to play it considering he only opened the core box to check out to make sure everything is there. I just got into board games about a year ago... I agree the huge minis make things crazy! I love it.

I also had gripes with the general narrative, I understand why you wouldn't want to talk about it here, but I'd be interested in your take as to whether or not it's overall better here than in the base game.

Ok though I understand the cost is a reason to be detailed and pay attention to details, but wow! This was quite a bit too much nit pick. He fully said this was not a mini focused game then commences to tear the minis apart for minutiae.
The problem with QR codes is you got to program them correctly, I remember at one point Burger King had a QR code with their kids toy, and instead of the QR code taking them to the BK site for free Fries and such, it took people to Porn hub lol. Burger King then had to Recal the whole Toy Line after that.
In a world where minis like those from Aeon Trespass exist, it’s a shame to see these minis come out sub par AGAIN. Was hoping one take away from first campaign was an improvement on this. Cool details and tentacles being squished down like playdoh soldiers being shoved into a too small box. Make sure they ditch eastar for Dante Mike!!!!

Not really. They are not paying for any specific videos but instead it's a general partnership where I provide critical feedback and provide consumers with beneficial content. So essentially it's stuff I already do, but I do more of it for them. It's really up to you guys to make the decision of it you feel this is somehow affected by the partnership. Considering they actively ask me to be critical of them I didn't in my head change anything overtly, but it's important to let you guys know so you can come to your own conclusion :)
