@JWBakkum The 1.6 GTI engine is good but the gearbox is made of chocolate, besides this was a student project that i did on a very tight budget :D and i did it cos i can :p
been watching this build on clubpolo.!
Watch out for the Gearbox as well. It won't last for long driving with this configuration. The ETD gearbox code is a real headache. Also mentioned, oil consumption is a issue too with these polo's.
to be honest mate I routed the oil into a catch tank since the polo has an oil breather return, hence the excessive oil consumption. The gearbox blew after the first few runs but then it was rebuilt with bolts instead of rivets and never went again since.
She's still running :)
It will be one pretty fast oil burner :D

@iNC0GNiToSHiN0BiiBY I wouldn't advice switching the motors, i tried at 1st and broke it, i just used the manual adjustment to get em right. The xenon's were just a kit of ebay, my advice to you is go GTi xenon's thats what i have on now..

Iv ordered the head lights n side lights same as yours the other day just waiting on them to arrive. It says you've got to take off the old light adjustment motors and put them on the new FK angel lights, my question is was this hard to do? And could you message me the Xenon lights you bought to go with it. Thanks

Standard is 75 hp but your polo did on the dyno run 86hp? How did you do that?
Probably has some work done to it prior to shooting the nitrous
Bl0bb3rs It was running a couple of modifications, 6N 16V throttle body and Inlet manifold, blanked EGR valve, straight Induction, that is about it.
Hello there, where did you get your front light ? I have the same car as you (1.4 16V AHW)
They are FK Angel Eyes for the 6N2. I upgraded them soon after to the GTi lights.

86HP on a 1.4 ? should'nt this be 101hp origin power?

original is 75 hp
not for the single cam they only have about 75hp but twin cam have 101hp
this is wheel horse power, not engine power
will edwards Thats incorrect mate, the 6N2 was a 1.4 16V AHW engine that produced 75hp, the 6N 16V and the 6N2 AUB produced 100hp

Home made. Ended up going for a carbon induction soon after and routed the pipe behind the front grille.
