Every time I hear “The Climb” it brings back so many memories. I’ve always been a shy person who loves to sing. All of middle school I was in choir and 6th grade I decided to try to overcome my fears and audition for a solo. I got a solo in The Climb (the full second verse) and after that I tried out for even more. (A few songs for Veterans Day concerts through the three years, Grown up Christmas List, some other Christmas song in 7th grade, and 2 solos in The Phantom of the Opera medley. Angel of Music (both the og and reprise with me singing as Christine) and Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again (my fave POTO song). The Climb is what made me accomplish my fears which made me love this song.

All of middle school I was in choir and 6th grade I decided to try to overcome my fears and audition for a solo. I got a solo in The Climb (the full second verse) and after that I tried out for even more. (A few songs for Veterans Day concerts through the three years, Grown up Christmas List, some other Christmas song in 7th grade, and 2 solos in The Phantom of the Opera medley. Angel of Music (both the og and reprise with me singing as Christine) and Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again (my fave POTO song). The Climb is what made me accomplish my fears which made me love this song.
