Dear Canadian friend, I’ve been following your UA-cam videos for a few years now. This one takes the cake. No doubt these were filmed in Canada. We’re inspired! Rain or shine, we’ll be out in the fields. So artistically done. Peter, in the Pacific Northwest.
Appreciate that! I decided to cut out the music and talking and focus on more nature…. Normally you would be right I’m usually in Canada but this one was actually filmed in Michigan, so many beautiful places to camp. Thanks for following along!
So I just finished watching your video second time around I began watching it months ago and UA-cam popped it back on for me. Don't know why I didn't subscribe to you back then but I did now. Thanks for your video, I'm very much liking your cargo trailer. It's how I've envisioned my Future trailer to be outfitted. Definitely looking forward to your future videos.
That’s great, glad to have you along, thank you very much. We love our trailer and highly recommend converting a cargo trailer. If that’s the route you go I wrote a complete step by step guide on how to do it with a product list as well. It’s available on my website. Saves a ton of hassle.
Yeah home safe… it was a real good time out West but it’s nice to be camping back in familiar surroundings again! Meals are always a bit of a struggle… if you know of any good recipes please let me know!
It was really nice to get out there, I sometimes forget how much I’ve missed it till I’m back out in the bush again! Definitely going to try to get away a bit more frequently but maybe shorter distances…. Thanks for following along!
Thanks for posting real good videos that are real. And thanks for the older ones where you were working on truck and camper. very helpful. Im choosing to go that rout , now at the starting stage. east - Tennessee USA
That’s great!!! You may be interested in my guide I have available on my website. I’ve had great feedback on it, and in it I take you from considering different trailer options to the completed build. How to do electrical plumbing etc etc. Hope it helps.
Hi, dang my kind of food I make, I should come see you once in a while. I like the way the truck got painted looks really nice. Not sure where you were but looked nice. You keep enjoy camping; myself I want to live that way perfectly. I just have a home and I need to build a camper; I made a nice cargo. Enjoy your camping! Take good care! Fred
Excellent. You are a smart man to configure that trailer with the add on width, etc. I like that it looks old too. What size side windows are those? I am about to buy and build a 6x12 single axle and I like the size of those windows. May as well copy the best. Thanks
Thanks! Appreciate that! The side windows are 22x36 the rear window I cant remember I think something like 28x42. The rear one is an emergency exit window. I got them all from a RV salvage yard... I think they cost me 25$ a window! Copy away!
Glad you like it… we love our little trailer! Here’s an inside tour - ua-cam.com/video/6G1-MKZaC4c/v-deo.html Here’s part 2 of build video- ua-cam.com/video/VNV-byFx4G4/v-deo.html
Okay…I just saw the extension over wheel wells and there’s no room for a triangular cabinet for better air flow. LOL!!! 😂 ..it would be more effort than it’s worth. Good video to see how you actually enjoy life while camping. 👍🏼
It was actually over in Michigan…. A State Park. You just need a out of state recreation passport and then it’s 20$ a night. Tons of amazing places to go!
Hello! Just discovered your channel two hours ago! Great videos and a cute dog! I would ask that you add or enable captioning to your videos as some of your viewers may be deaf or hard of hearing like myself. Thank you’
Thanks for the tip! I just tried to update a few videos where I forgot to enable cc. If you find others please let me know. I appreciate your input very much.
The way you document your journeys is so authentic. It feels like we're right there with you. Thank you!
Wow, thank you!

It’s nice but I don’t miss the cold weather at all. I’m in Puerto Rico where is summer all year long.
It’s funny but I actually find winter camping is my favourite time to go. But we still need to take a month and head south, to keep our sanity 😄
Thanks for posting real good videos that are real. And thanks for the older ones where you were working on truck and camper. very helpful. Im choosing to go that rout , now at the starting stage.

@8:05. Those veggies and taters were instantly sliced and diced!! Nice work with the camera, dude. That takes more time and effort than it looks.
Thanks appreciate that! I enjoy it!

Awesome setup , what engine is in that ranger and what's the weight of that trailer
4.0sohc in the ranger. The trailer is about 2900lbs. You can definitely feel it back there but it pulls it no problem.
Dude, I dig your trailer build! IS that Raptor Liner (etc..) on that mid-90's Ranger??
Thanks! You got it Raptor but it’s a 2002 Ranger 👍
Is that upper Michigan or the other part they call Michigan?
It wasn’t the UP though it’s on the list for later in the year.
So many great sites all over Michigan 👌👍
Nice vid love my cubic mini too u be toasty warm I bet
Yeah I hear you…. Love our wood stove - the dry quiet heat is just awesome!
Do you have a link to where one can get that awning?
Yes definitely… we love it!
