It's a bit wild for me that people are planning on buying a new FansToys combiner when they haven't finished their other 2 combiners. They supposedly engineered themselves into a corner and I wouldn't trust that they can actually deliver a full combiner until they actually deliver a full combiner. It feels like its been 5 years since FT released the first Stunticon
Yeah, their Motormaster is cool and all. But how does he form the torso of Menasor? The only thing to like about the FansToys Motormaster was the fact that the trailer and cab makes the robot mode. Unlike the others where the trailer makes the combiner skeleton and Motormaster is just the cab.
I'm all in on MMC's take of Devastator. I have both First Aid and Streetwise and they look very G1ny and they're good enough for me. I love the all in one combiner and it'll probably be the cheapest, even with an upgrade kit. I also pre-ordered Fans Toys Scrapper as I'm a little afraid of X-transbots. Nothing against them as they look fantastic but, sometimes they don't pull it off very well. Edit: After watching several reviews, I broke down and bought / pre-ordered Xtransbots toy colored version.
Im quite happy with my Gravity Builder. It's going to take a lot to get me to go with any of these new ones. Once they came out with that 4th party upgrade kit for the legs and feet specifically, the Jinbao OS KO version is pretty solid. Yes its a little stylized, but I feel its not so far off, that its completely outside the realm, like Star Toys and Cang. So unless they do something seriously cool and revolutionary, its going to be a hard pass for me.
Enh, I'll just stick with my TFC Hercules. It's only around the size of the standard Combiner Wars Combiners, but the engineering is top-notch; no "extra" thighs or forearms needed to be "pulled in from off-screen"; everything for Devastator is either tucked away in, or part of, the vehicle mode, can used as a weapon in robot mode, or can be transformed into from existing parts of the figures.
This is starting to look like the Heavy Metal War for the best Devy. 😅 I am happy with the TW for combiner mode, FT for robot mode, XTB for vehicle mode. I just wish MS would come at this from left field then announce a Predaking…that would be something.
What I wonder as a fan why there isn't a ~15-18" Devastator Three-Zero style model more available. The fun of Transformers to me is being able to pick them up, fiddle with them into different modes and put back. But something like a Devastator, that is so much of an ordeal to transform that I am tempted to just leave it a shelf display, it may as well be a non-transforming thing for 1/6 the cost. I see there are only a couple of 7" options.
I pre-ordered the FansToys version and I plan to collect that set, but I'm sure it will take a very long time before they're all out, unfortunately. If MMC releases a full set down the line, I might pick that one up as well because I really like the all-in-one system that they have for their combiners.
Was planning on keeping my Toyworld for combined and just getting the XTB Scrapper for a team leader display, but now planning to get all the xtb and MMC ones. FT Scrapper looks too chonky and I can get the other 2 for probably same price as I'll save skipping the FT. Was never into the Vectron labs one as never saw enough info about it.
Now that both have figures out, so far, I'm liking XTB more. I have both XTB and FT but I'm not impressed with FT Scrapper. I actually thought about cancelling my other FT pre-order.
I really think that they should do almost like a pre order lock in for all the combiners, so the price can't go up on you. It would suck to get the first 3 bots for $150 and then they raise the price up $50 or more for the last 3.

I was looking forward to Vectron as it was looking to be more accurate then Toyworld, luckly for me FT took that for combiner, and the XTB for Robot/Alt
Also that website it not run by FT. Inquisitor wont be releasing this year so the 2023 tag it has is wrong. Sound Blaster and Scapper are due June 2024, The remaining combiner bots for Superion and Menasor should be Q1/Q2 2024
It's GREAT to see. HOWEVER, it will only serve to Ultimately hurt all the companies. WHY? Because the vast majority of people might be able to go in on just One Set at $100 - $200 each Price Point. That's minimum $600 to $1200 for the set. There are 5 other Teams that SHOULD be made for a MODERN MP Scale. Predacons, Terrorcons, Technobots, Seacons and Protectobots. As far as these 3 go. Sure they look good on Renders. It's PRICE POINT and FINAL Product that is going to be the Decision maker.
Not sure if it's due to not carrying the same G1 aesthetic, but we've also got the 01-Studio (Zeta/Moon Studio) Devastator in the pipeline as well! Given how fast the same people churned out their Raiden combiner, it's entirely possible, even at this state, that the 01-Studio Devastator could still kick out all of it's parts even before MMC does, and long before XTB. At this time, FT has still not completed a single combiner after several years, even despite numerous other releases, so I have zero faith in them completing yet another within the next 5 years.
FT just dropped their complete combiner photos today ( the 2nd of November), and FT have said Devistator will be finished by 2025, Superion and Menasor by Q2 2023.
@@collectorsalmanac I wish I shared your optimistic outlook, but I'm not so convinced that they'll stick to such timelines. I'm still of the belief FT "rushed" out their first combiner members without having a well set design in place for the complete combiners and have spent a significant amount of time since then still working them out. The real question will be whether or not what they've learned in all that time can be translated over to their intended Devastator, or if they've still got a lot more work ahead of them to figure it all out.
Once I saw the fans toys version of Scrapper I jumped ship to that from x-transbots. That weird ground effects underneath the feet for the x-trans already put me off a little bit.
It i great to have so many options for Devastator! I think that I am definitely going for MMC, their Bruticus is fantastic and the Combaticons are all great, plu I'm going in on their Protectobots/Defensor. But I am considering going for either XTB or Fans Toys as well, not sure whichthough. I might wait a bit to see how each of the sets are matching up before committing, although I think that I am leaning toward XTB at the moment.
If Xtransbots can get Scapper and Longhaul out before December, it would give people faith in their set for it shows they can keep to a reasonable release schedule, they still have a Galvatron to release. Fanstoys has many re-releases before the lead up of the completion of Superion so I'm not expecting their Scapper till 2025. That said this set is a deal breaker if they don't put in the trumpets.
But XTB also has their defensor that’s they have figures out, and first aid was supposed to be released months ago and that has not happened. I gave up on XTB after Fuzz and Jocund. But this Devastator might bring me back even if it is the one XTB figure that I own.
It's not even worth getting FT they won't release their entire set till about 2030 if you're lucky. Look at superion and menasor XTB have two more figures due for next year 1-2nd qtr so at least you'll have most of the set
@@sw1000xg according to Show.Z (promo code: TH) we should have gotten Scapper and the youth version in Q3 this year, we are well into Q4 with no word on it's release and LongHaul fast approaching it's release date. I just have a funny feeling that by end of 2024 only 3 of these guy would have been released.
Tough call between XTB and FT. They look very similar. But the FT Scrapper's vehicle mode is a little iffy. I might lean toward XTB just because FT is gonna be so expensive. Over a grand for the set. Wheras XTB might be around $600. But after the XTB Stunticons I've learned not to trust their prices. They might start of cheap and crank up the price with each release.
Showzstore has XTB scrapper at $149.98 USD which would make the set close to $900.00 USD. I think Fanstoys will be well over $1000.00 but that's just my guess. I do like the look of XTB scrapper for bot mode and alt mode but I can't believe how fanstoys combine mode pulls off the "Heel" and the wheels on the shoulders are hidden away "I wonder if the wheels on xtb can be removed in combined mode?" They showed the wheels on his shoulder removable to look more toon.
I'm going to go with MMC as I have both their Protectobots and they look really good, even with the all in one combiner. They also cost roughly $100 each, with the exception of Hot Spot. I pre-ordered the Fans Toys Scrapper too but, I'll probably cancel as I'm thinking it's going to be like their Aerialbots where they're over $200 each and the one with the combiner parts being $400.
Some retailers like ShowZ are listing the FansToys Scrapper for Q2 2024, and some like Terry are listing it at $150. We'll see how realistic all of that is. The vehicle looks like an afterthought but it looks decent otherwise. We really do need to see the combiner first, plus we need to see how their other combiners turn out. Vectron Lab seems to be dead in the water. Last we saw of them was the designer (allegedly) having a fit on TFW. That thread is an hilarious read, if nothing else. MMC's stuff is pretty fun so I might get it but their Devastator looks oddly proportioned. I definitely agree the waist looks odd (and so does the way they collapsed Mixmaster's barrel). X-Transbots is a bit of a wild card. It could be amazing or it could be terrible. I think it'll ultimately be a mixed bag. Long Haul, for example, looks pretty good but his ankles don't.
Yeah the X Transbots looks amazing. If I go in on this set this will be the first time since I have given up on X Transbot after I bought their Kup so if they let me down and this thing isn’t made solid along with wonky transformation I’m done done done done done with X Transbots so I will see.
Oh man, this is a dilemma isn’t it!? No way on the Mmc, it’s cool but NOT accurate. The FT looks incredible in bot mode, I prefer the green on the arms over seeing the tires there like the xtrans. I trust xtrans can deliver all six, not sure how long and how expensive the FT are going to be. They will be jaw dropping I know that!
@6:24 Long Haul beside Grapper. There was an episode where Scrapper was the same height as Grapper so I am fine with this scale. FT is gonna look ridiculously large IMO. Someone will have to KO this XB set for me to bite, I think. It's too much $$$.

So I’ve been following the XTrans and that one company “Vectron” but recently cancelled the Vectron when the FT drop their scrapper. Also with the information on some of the rumors that the engineers quitting I just called it a loss. So with that being said, I’m ALL in on both sets XTrans and FTs. All bot and alt mods look amazing and these two third parties have good history in making quality transformers. I may get an extra set making it a total of three set.. we shall see what the future holds.
Like many I already have a toy world combined and so I look mostly for a nice robot or vehicle to play around with. The Xtrans looks like nice real world vehicles. I also do not want to wait until 2040 and pay through the nose.. So I pre-ordered Xtransbots. And MX 41 has a trumpet.
FT’s is literally show accurate. They’re the first company to not use Scrapper’s arms as the “heel spur”. This has me excited for the rest and the combine mode. Now… if only they could get their act together with Berserk (Blitzwing), that would be great.
I have Toy World, not too thrilled with it, but it works for now. I am in for MMC Devy because I'm all in for MMCs Defensor, was planning to have the MMC Constructicons be my bot set, probably still will. I wasn't sure about XTransbots, Their Long Haul looks amazing! But I've not buying another XTB figure until they finish THEIR Defensor. I was not planning to go in on FansToys Devy... But I like their Scrapper the best, so I caved. Would have preferred a finished Menasor and Superion from Fanstoys first, but I can spread the funds out when they finish it in 2030 lol.
MMC if you’re in for that scale as it looks good, X-Transbots if you want a frustrating hot mess and Fanstoys if you want paint rubbing with ‘extra cost’ for the combiner parts. Will hold judgement until Fanstoys show a combined render but Toyworld Devi is still a great MP combiner regardless of age. Will be in on the Fanstoys set but purely for bot modes, got zero faith in XTB and their QC issues.
Whats going on with FT and their release schedules? Are they backlogged on factory time and waiting for their chance to manufacture? I wonder what else they are doing? Are they perhaps another company under another name producing figures?
There is a good devy war coming, I will go on the mmc boat, I don't have any giant combiners, and I am starting to put together the mmc bruticus and I will follow that direction. Besides, xtransbots, is a Pandora's box with its possible quality control problems, and fanstoys, I can't say anything about quality, they have a well-earned reputation, but for my budget it is too much, and there will still be the doubt if there will not be You have to buy extra pieces to combine.
@markcastellanet9672 that's fine with me I collect MP and mainline they can fit better I'm my mainline then combiner wars figures and at least I might transform it once in awhile I got the x-transbots menasor and it's only gonna stay in combine mode to much of a pain to transform back and forth
Well I’m going to be all in and the Fanstoys and MMC. XTB I’m most likely going to get but a little hesitant with it from their offering of Fuzz. But Devistator is my favorite transformer. I’m also pickup up the Newage and Magic Square one as well. I’ve waited this long for the Fanstoys Menasor and Superion what’s the difference at this point. I just need to win the lottery or start selling organs to find my hobby.
I can't believe we're back in this position of having multiple Constructicons AGAIN 🤦♂ I was really hoping MMC would tackle the Technobots next. They make my favourite combiners, although i feel Devastator should be largest because he's has 6 members and are large vehicles, plus he's the first.
Damn... I was going to get VecTron Labs versions, but it really does look like now that even the Ringhyo figure will never get released. Which is a damn shame, since I think it looks the most cartoon accurate of all version in both modes. So which constructicons to get... I haven't decided yet, but the ones I certainly will _not_ get are the Fans Toys' versions. I'm really disappointed in how Fans Toys' Scrapper looks like, so it's going to be either X-Transbots or Ocular Max (the so-called MMC).
MMC-All in one gimmick I really like XTB-Will be over engineered to hell AND have lots of breakable parts FT-Will be the most solid but use the most partsforming and take forever to complete
I just need a Constructicon set for individual bot mode because Toy World Devastator still looks great. I'm looking hard at XTB because I like the look and size but...XTB is known for their less than stellar quality builds in their figures with their Punch/Counterpunch being a perfect example. FT's Scrapper looks weird and at first I couldn't figure out why until I noticed how wide Scrapper's hips look. Why? It also looks as if FT's is going for the goofy ultra toon look with Scrapper forming the entire leg. Again, why? I have the MMC Combaticons for Bot mode and have two of their Protectobot figures for the exact same so time will tell if it will be 3 for 3 with their Constructicon set.
This will be tough to choose... MMC is not for me (too small too combined mode too many sacrifices on proportions due to the gimmick of all in one. And no piant. Although they make good simple designs and would be fun to play with). I like XTB better in bot and alt but Fanstoys is going to be better built with better paint adhesion and the combine mode is magical, but I really dislike the alt mode.... Cant decide. At least I have a TW version one boxset and lots of time to choose lol.
My plan is to keep my Generation Toy Devi with the upgrade kit as the combined mode but because these guys are so iconic, I would like to have them represented in bot mode...I would love to have FT as my boy mode because their figures are always sturdy bricks _ look good on a shelf but I'm worried that I won't be able to get all of them without paying for combiner parts...XTB figures look good on a shelf but I'm worried their bot modes may suffer due to having to combine but I'm sure they'll sell the combiner torso separate allowing me to get all the boys...I am so undecided which way to go so I'm not going to preorder any & wait to see the 1st releases...I'm completely out on MMC for Devastator...thanks for this video
It's meant to be finished later next year. That's all we really know, since they haven't officially solicited pre-orders for Dead End + combiner parts yet. Superion is meant to be finished first though, with the last two figures and combiner parts apparently releasing in Q2 2024.
I held out on Toyworld and I might hold out until I see them all finished. Don't forget Fanstoys may release an EX version after we spend over 1G on the first version LOL
(To me) While the OG Zeta Constructor is still better than the 3 mentioned in this vid (along with Grav B)... I would definitely go with MMC's option over the others. Only Zeta's new Devy has the potential to dethrone their old one. ;-)

Xtb is usually on spot for toon accuracy but for devy seems to go on aesthetics , while ft seems to go for toon , dont know why they decided the legs of devy being similar to toyworld / idw. Also Was really disappointed that they plan bandit end next year..,.. hope its not true...after my bond and james will not trust xtb combiner to them easily... Saying that a yellow autobot xtb prop would be awesome!!!!!
I'm really liking the XTB I have their menasor and it's defo my fav version though I really do like the DX9 version. FT is a no because theirs have been on going for way to long and the price is a no for me You can get both the DX9 and XTB for the price of FT But do I really want another DEV? Got the Jinbao with the upgrade leg kit and its fantastic Another XTB combiner? Maybe the odd figure here and there in bot and vehicle mode only

I honestly think VL is dead in the water. When they announced they only had TW and Jinbao 2.0 to contend with. Now with FT XTB and MMC all jumping into the game they're basically doomed to low sales. Unless they upsize their plans and give the market a 23-25 inch Devastator. Then they might get some hits just for the novelty of being the largest. I'm going XTB for Devastator and Defensor both but I went DX9 for Menasor. It scales better VS the ZETA Superion and I'm going ZETA for Bruticus and Superion. I have a Jinbao 2.0 Devastator and was thinking about getting the TW but with these other options coming I think the JB is fine as a stand in for now. It's certainly tall enough to scale with the others with the 2.0 kit they made for it. That went a long ways to making it a decent piece that scales fine with the others no problem. If I wanted to duplicate all these combiners to display them as teams I think I'd go FT for the Aerialbots and Stunticons and MMC for the Combaticons and Protectobots. Not sure on Devastator. I could possibly go MMC or FT for a duplicate set and probably be happy either way, but XTB for sure as one of them. We need a better Predaking. MMC is still the best G1 representation and it's long in the tooth and still a little small combined compared to the others. The Cang Toys is far too stylized for me but has the quality and size I'm looking for. The Jinbao oversized MMC is dirt cheap but even oversized it is still a little small and it's built like garbage. The Jinbao Devastator is far better. Probably will buy JB OS Predaking anyways. It's just a stand in until something better that's properly G1 looking comes around. Hopefully XTB will take it on. Not likely to get a MMC 2.0 and FT already has a full plate being they move in slow motion. 😂 If only GigaPower could make us some quality Predacons? They'd be a little large and certainly shiny. 😂 That alone wouldn't be a bad thing. Just the 5 original pieces in the proper colors like their Dinobot set and most of us would be estatic to have such a Predaking option. I don't even care if it's an all in one like the MMC so long as combined it comes in at 20+ inch's and they'd have a huge line of people who would be all in on that project. They're the only company that you could legitimately argue that makes Transformers that can compare in quality to anything FansToys has done. GigaPower doesn't make much but what they do make they build as well as any 3rd party builder out there. GigaPower doesn't screw around. 😂
I not in for any of these, no room for combiners, but I gotta say xtb looks better in bot and vehicle modes, iffy on combined mode but then mmc isn’t that great and no pics from fans toys yet. Also xtb has proven they can actually deliver a great looking combiner. Pressure is really on fans toys to show theirs looks best in combine mode. At this point I wouldn’t trust fans toys to finish the set before inflation makes the last bot $400+
It would be funny and awesome if Toy World took out their CAD files and erased all the details and greebles and made new moulds to make a G1 looking Devy to compete. Lol 😂
I cancelled my XTransbots and MMC pre orders. MMC just plain doesn’t look good. Xtransbots I think takes the alt mode but doing anything with it like transforming it, moving it or breathing on it wrong will just make it fall apart and break. I’ll go with FT. I just wish it had the shade of purple the Xtransbots has.
I could see myself not buying any of these. XD VekTron has a shot if they keep the price fair and the quality nice. Hopefully, they will be the underdog for the W. FT looking weak IMO. XTB is junk. MMC too short combined. Guess I will see what official KO does. Otherwise I guess it is TW forever.
There are certain parts of the combined mode that look better than toyworlds, but overall, i think tw still looks better. I may just look for a set to have as individual bots.
Im in on XTB, if for nothing the bot modes as keeping my Toy World. MMC will be the leader of Combiners in the near Future, consistancy wins here. Im out on FTs, it looks way off here, too wide/stubby, alt mode is sacrificed, and are they doing toon like CJ or MP like WP...still 2 Combi to complete as those are iffy and they want me to go in on Devy @ maybe 1500 5 more years no way.
I was fully in on XTB, until I saw that combine mode. I really dislike it, looks like a mishmash of two very conflicting design styles. I want full toon accuracy and i think FT is gonna give that to us based on the Scrapper leg mode!
I just can't get past that all-white leg on the x-transbots hook. That's just the dumbest thing I've ever seen. That put me off the whole set. Can you imagine all these green bots lined up, and this one dude with white pantyhose? I mean there's toon, and then there's slavish stupid toon. On the other hand, if xtransbots does a youth or toy version of these, I would be in 100%. And I'll be in on the fans toys and MMC regardless. And I still think the toyworld Devastator is going to be hard to beat, it still looks fantastic, *especially* in person on shelf.
How long has the 3rd party game been going on now,20 years maybe?.....and these companies are STILL milking the g1 constructicons /devastator......this what i mean the same chracters been done again and again and again.....and why i stopped collecting and have lost almost all intrest in transformers.

But something like a Devastator, that is so much of an ordeal to transform that I am tempted to just leave it a shelf display, it may as well be a non-transforming thing for 1/6 the cost. I see there are only a couple of 7" options.
I pre-ordered the FansToys version and I plan to collect that set, but I'm sure it will take a very long time before they're all out, unfortunately. If MMC releases a full set down the line, I might pick that one up as well because I really like the all-in-one system that they have for their combiners.
Was planning on keeping my Toyworld for combined and just getting the XTB Scrapper for a team leader display, but now planning to get all the xtb and MMC ones.
FT Scrapper looks too chonky and I can get the other 2 for probably same price as I'll save skipping the FT.
Was never into the Vectron labs one as never saw enough info about it.
Now that both have figures out, so far, I'm liking XTB more. I have both XTB and FT but I'm not impressed with FT Scrapper. I actually thought about cancelling my other FT pre-order.

I really think that they should do almost like a pre order lock in for all the combiners, so the price can't go up on you. It would suck to get the first 3 bots for $150 and then they raise the price up $50 or more for the last 3.

Inquisitor wont be releasing this year so the 2023 tag it has is wrong. Sound Blaster and Scapper are due June 2024, The remaining combiner bots for Superion and Menasor should be Q1/Q2 2024
It's GREAT to see. HOWEVER, it will only serve to Ultimately hurt all the companies. WHY? Because the vast majority of people might be able to go in on just One Set at $100 - $200 each Price Point. That's minimum $600 to $1200 for the set.
There are 5 other Teams that SHOULD be made for a MODERN MP Scale. Predacons, Terrorcons, Technobots, Seacons and Protectobots.
As far as these 3 go. Sure they look good on Renders. It's PRICE POINT and FINAL Product that is going to be the Decision maker.
Not sure if it's due to not carrying the same G1 aesthetic, but we've also got the 01-Studio (Zeta/Moon Studio) Devastator in the pipeline as well! Given how fast the same people churned out their Raiden combiner, it's entirely possible, even at this state, that the 01-Studio Devastator could still kick out all of it's parts even before MMC does, and long before XTB. At this time, FT has still not completed a single combiner after several years, even despite numerous other releases, so I have zero faith in them completing yet another within the next 5 years.
FT just dropped their complete combiner photos today ( the 2nd of November), and FT have said Devistator will be finished by 2025, Superion and Menasor by Q2 2023.
@@collectorsalmanac I wish I shared your optimistic outlook, but I'm not so convinced that they'll stick to such timelines. I'm still of the belief FT "rushed" out their first combiner members without having a well set design in place for the complete combiners and have spent a significant amount of time since then still working them out. The real question will be whether or not what they've learned in all that time can be translated over to their intended Devastator, or if they've still got a lot more work ahead of them to figure it all out.
I’m in on the X-Transbots and FansToys Devy. And the MMC and X-Transbots Defensor as well.
Once I saw the fans toys version of Scrapper I jumped ship to that from x-transbots. That weird ground effects underneath the feet for the x-trans already put me off a little bit.

It i great to have so many options for Devastator! I think that I am definitely going for MMC, their Bruticus is fantastic and the Combaticons are all great, plu I'm going in on their Protectobots/Defensor. But I am considering going for either XTB or Fans Toys as well, not sure whichthough. I might wait a bit to see how each of the sets are matching up before committing, although I think that I am leaning toward XTB at the moment.

If Xtransbots can get Scapper and Longhaul out before December, it would give people faith in their set for it shows they can keep to a reasonable release schedule, they still have a Galvatron to release. Fanstoys has many re-releases before the lead up of the completion of Superion so I'm not expecting their Scapper till 2025. That said this set is a deal breaker if they don't put in the trumpets.
Fanstoys said Devi will be finished in 25. 12 months from when Scrapper drops in June. Superion will be done by May. Menasor 2nd half of 24
But XTB also has their defensor that’s they have figures out, and first aid was supposed to be released months ago and that has not happened. I gave up on XTB after Fuzz and Jocund. But this Devastator might bring me back even if it is the one XTB figure that I own.
It's not even worth getting FT they won't release their entire set till about 2030 if you're lucky. Look at superion and menasor
XTB have two more figures due for next year 1-2nd qtr so at least you'll have most of the set

I just have a funny feeling that by end of 2024 only 3 of these guy would have been released.

Tough call between XTB and FT. They look very similar. But the FT Scrapper's vehicle mode is a little iffy.
I might lean toward XTB just because FT is gonna be so expensive. Over a grand for the set. Wheras XTB might be around $600.
But after the XTB Stunticons I've learned not to trust their prices. They might start of cheap and crank up the price with each release.
Showzstore has XTB scrapper at $149.98 USD which would make the set close to $900.00 USD. I think Fanstoys will be well over $1000.00 but that's just my guess. I do like the look of XTB scrapper for bot mode and alt mode but I can't believe how fanstoys combine mode pulls off the "Heel" and the wheels on the shoulders are hidden away "I wonder if the wheels on xtb can be removed in combined mode?" They showed the wheels on his shoulder removable to look more toon.
I'm going to go with MMC as I have both their Protectobots and they look really good, even with the all in one combiner. They also cost roughly $100 each, with the exception of Hot Spot. I pre-ordered the Fans Toys Scrapper too but, I'll probably cancel as I'm thinking it's going to be like their Aerialbots where they're over $200 each and the one with the combiner parts being $400.
Some retailers like ShowZ are listing the FansToys Scrapper for Q2 2024, and some like Terry are listing it at $150. We'll see how realistic all of that is.
The vehicle looks like an afterthought but it looks decent otherwise. We really do need to see the combiner first, plus we need to see how their other combiners turn out.
Vectron Lab seems to be dead in the water. Last we saw of them was the designer (allegedly) having a fit on TFW. That thread is an hilarious read, if nothing else.
MMC's stuff is pretty fun so I might get it but their Devastator looks oddly proportioned. I definitely agree the waist looks odd (and so does the way they collapsed Mixmaster's barrel).
X-Transbots is a bit of a wild card. It could be amazing or it could be terrible. I think it'll ultimately be a mixed bag. Long Haul, for example, looks pretty good but his ankles don't.
Another devastator, good. I don't know if anyone else has had problems with their toy world figure but, I have had the longhaul figure breaking apart.
Yeah the X Transbots looks amazing. If I go in on this set this will be the first time since I have given up on X Transbot after I bought their Kup so if they let me down and this thing isn’t made solid along with wonky transformation I’m done done done done done with X Transbots so I will see.
Oh man, this is a dilemma isn’t it!? No way on the Mmc, it’s cool but NOT accurate. The FT looks incredible in bot mode, I prefer the green on the arms over seeing the tires there like the xtrans. I trust xtrans can deliver all six, not sure how long and how expensive the FT are going to be. They will be jaw dropping I know that!
@6:24 Long Haul beside Grapper. There was an episode where Scrapper was the same height as Grapper so I am fine with this scale. FT is gonna look ridiculously large IMO. Someone will have to KO this XB set for me to bite, I think. It's too much $$$.

While I’m confident we can count on you to collect them all… I’m gonna focus collect Scrapper. One Scrapper from each company for me!
So I’ve been following the XTrans and that one company “Vectron” but recently cancelled the Vectron when the FT drop their scrapper. Also with the information on some of the rumors that the engineers quitting I just called it a loss. So with that being said, I’m ALL in on both sets XTrans and FTs. All bot and alt mods look amazing and these two third parties have good history in making quality transformers. I may get an extra set making it a total of three set.. we shall see what the future holds.
Like many I already have a toy world combined and so I look mostly for a nice robot or vehicle to play around with. The Xtrans looks like nice real world vehicles. I also do not want to wait until 2040 and pay through the nose.. So I pre-ordered Xtransbots. And MX 41 has a trumpet.
Also.. I want a G1 predaking , Abominus, Computron more than anything else..
FT’s is literally show accurate. They’re the first company to not use Scrapper’s arms as the “heel spur”. This has me excited for the rest and the combine mode. Now… if only they could get their act together with Berserk (Blitzwing), that would be great.
I have Toy World, not too thrilled with it, but it works for now. I am in for MMC Devy because I'm all in for MMCs Defensor, was planning to have the MMC Constructicons be my bot set, probably still will. I wasn't sure about XTransbots, Their Long Haul looks amazing! But I've not buying another XTB figure until they finish THEIR Defensor. I was not planning to go in on FansToys Devy... But I like their Scrapper the best, so I caved. Would have preferred a finished Menasor and Superion from Fanstoys first, but I can spread the funds out when they finish it in 2030 lol.
MMC if you’re in for that scale as it looks good, X-Transbots if you want a frustrating hot mess and Fanstoys if you want paint rubbing with ‘extra cost’ for the combiner parts.
Will hold judgement until Fanstoys show a combined render but Toyworld Devi is still a great MP combiner regardless of age. Will be in on the Fanstoys set but purely for bot modes, got zero faith in XTB and their QC issues.
Whats going on with FT and their release schedules? Are they backlogged on factory time and waiting for their chance to manufacture? I wonder what else they are doing? Are they perhaps another company under another name producing figures?

There is a good devy war coming, I will go on the mmc boat, I don't have any giant combiners, and I am starting to put together the mmc bruticus and I will follow that direction. Besides, xtransbots, is a Pandora's box with its possible quality control problems, and fanstoys, I can't say anything about quality, they have a well-earned reputation, but for my budget it is too much, and there will still be the doubt if there will not be You have to buy extra pieces to combine.
I'm going MMC for the all in one feature
I only ever want all in one combiners as anything other than that is not masterpiece class.

Well I’m going to be all in and the Fanstoys and MMC. XTB I’m most likely going to get but a little hesitant with it from their offering of Fuzz. But Devistator is my favorite transformer. I’m also pickup up the Newage and Magic Square one as well. I’ve waited this long for the Fanstoys Menasor and Superion what’s the difference at this point. I just need to win the lottery or start selling organs to find my hobby.
I can't believe we're back in this position of having multiple Constructicons AGAIN 🤦♂ I was really hoping MMC would tackle the Technobots next. They make my favourite combiners, although i feel Devastator should be largest because he's has 6 members and are large vehicles, plus he's the first.
Damn... I was going to get VecTron Labs versions, but it really does look like now that even the Ringhyo figure will never get released. Which is a damn shame, since I think it looks the most cartoon accurate of all version in both modes. So which constructicons to get... I haven't decided yet, but the ones I certainly will _not_ get are the Fans Toys' versions. I'm really disappointed in how Fans Toys' Scrapper looks like, so it's going to be either X-Transbots or Ocular Max (the so-called MMC).

I just need a Constructicon set for individual bot mode because Toy World Devastator still looks great. I'm looking hard at XTB because I like the look and size but...XTB is known for their less than stellar quality builds in their figures with their Punch/Counterpunch being a perfect example.
FT's Scrapper looks weird and at first I couldn't figure out why until I noticed how wide Scrapper's hips look. Why? It also looks as if FT's is going for the goofy ultra toon look with Scrapper forming the entire leg. Again, why?
I have the MMC Combaticons for Bot mode and have two of their Protectobot figures for the exact same so time will tell if it will be 3 for 3 with their Constructicon set.
This will be tough to choose... MMC is not for me (too small too combined mode too many sacrifices on proportions due to the gimmick of all in one. And no piant. Although they make good simple designs and would be fun to play with). I like XTB better in bot and alt but Fanstoys is going to be better built with better paint adhesion and the combine mode is magical, but I really dislike the alt mode.... Cant decide. At least I have a TW version one boxset and lots of time to choose lol.
I prefer MMC Combat icons, for the bot modes. XTB looks like the best option between these sets though.
My plan is to keep my Generation Toy Devi with the upgrade kit as the combined mode but because these guys are so iconic, I would like to have them represented in bot mode...I would love to have FT as my boy mode because their figures are always sturdy bricks _ look good on a shelf but I'm worried that I won't be able to get all of them without paying for combiner parts...XTB figures look good on a shelf but I'm worried their bot modes may suffer due to having to combine but I'm sure they'll sell the combiner torso separate allowing me to get all the boys...I am so undecided which way to go so I'm not going to preorder any & wait to see the 1st releases...I'm completely out on MMC for Devastator...thanks for this video

It's meant to be finished later next year. That's all we really know, since they haven't officially solicited pre-orders for Dead End + combiner parts yet.
Superion is meant to be finished first though, with the last two figures and combiner parts apparently releasing in Q2 2024.

Xtb is usually on spot for toon accuracy but for devy seems to go on aesthetics , while ft seems to go for toon , dont know why they decided the legs of devy being similar to toyworld / idw. Also Was really disappointed that they plan bandit end next year..,.. hope its not true...after my bond and james will not trust xtb combiner to them easily... Saying that a yellow autobot xtb prop would be awesome!!!!!

I honestly think VL is dead in the water. When they announced they only had TW and Jinbao 2.0 to contend with. Now with FT XTB and MMC all jumping into the game they're basically doomed to low sales. Unless they upsize their plans and give the market a 23-25 inch Devastator. Then they might get some hits just for the novelty of being the largest.
I'm going XTB for Devastator and Defensor both but I went DX9 for Menasor. It scales better VS the ZETA Superion and I'm going ZETA for Bruticus and Superion. I have a Jinbao 2.0 Devastator and was thinking about getting the TW but with these other options coming I think the JB is fine as a stand in for now. It's certainly tall enough to scale with the others with the 2.0 kit they made for it. That went a long ways to making it a decent piece that scales fine with the others no problem.
If I wanted to duplicate all these combiners to display them as teams I think I'd go FT for the Aerialbots and Stunticons and MMC for the Combaticons and Protectobots. Not sure on Devastator. I could possibly go MMC or FT for a duplicate set and probably be happy either way, but XTB for sure as one of them.
We need a better Predaking. MMC is still the best G1 representation and it's long in the tooth and still a little small combined compared to the others. The Cang Toys is far too stylized for me but has the quality and size I'm looking for.
The Jinbao oversized MMC is dirt cheap but even oversized it is still a little small and it's built like garbage. The Jinbao Devastator is far better. Probably will buy JB OS Predaking anyways. It's just a stand in until something better that's properly G1 looking comes around. Hopefully XTB will take it on. Not likely to get a MMC 2.0 and FT already has a full plate being they move in slow motion. 😂
If only GigaPower could make us some quality Predacons? They'd be a little large and certainly shiny. 😂 That alone wouldn't be a bad thing. Just the 5 original pieces in the proper colors like their Dinobot set and most of us would be estatic to have such a Predaking option. I don't even care if it's an all in one like the MMC so long as combined it comes in at 20+ inch's and they'd have a huge line of people who would be all in on that project. They're the only company that you could legitimately argue that makes Transformers that can compare in quality to anything FansToys has done. GigaPower doesn't make much but what they do make they build as well as any 3rd party builder out there. GigaPower doesn't screw around. 😂

I not in for any of these, no room for combiners, but I gotta say xtb looks better in bot and vehicle modes, iffy on combined mode but then mmc isn’t that great and no pics from fans toys yet. Also xtb has proven they can actually deliver a great looking combiner. Pressure is really on fans toys to show theirs looks best in combine mode. At this point I wouldn’t trust fans toys to finish the set before inflation makes the last bot $400+
It would be funny and awesome if Toy World took out their CAD files and erased all the details and greebles and made new moulds to make a G1 looking Devy to compete. Lol 😂

I cancelled my XTransbots and MMC pre orders. MMC just plain doesn’t look good. Xtransbots I think takes the alt mode but doing anything with it like transforming it, moving it or breathing on it wrong will just make it fall apart and break. I’ll go with FT. I just wish it had the shade of purple the Xtransbots has.

There are certain parts of the combined mode that look better than toyworlds, but overall, i think tw still looks better. I may just look for a set to have as individual bots.

Im in on XTB, if for nothing the bot modes as keeping my Toy World. MMC will be the leader of Combiners in the near Future, consistancy wins here. Im out on FTs, it looks way off here, too wide/stubby, alt mode is sacrificed, and are they doing toon like CJ or MP like WP...still 2 Combi to complete as those are iffy and they want me to go in on Devy @ maybe 1500 5 more years no way.
I was fully in on XTB, until I saw that combine mode. I really dislike it, looks like a mishmash of two very conflicting design styles. I want full toon accuracy and i think FT is gonna give that to us based on the Scrapper leg mode!
The toy version is $100 it seems the cartoon version is going to be more expensive

I just can't get past that all-white leg on the x-transbots hook. That's just the dumbest thing I've ever seen. That put me off the whole set. Can you imagine all these green bots lined up, and this one dude with white pantyhose? I mean there's toon, and then there's slavish stupid toon. On the other hand, if xtransbots does a youth or toy version of these, I would be in 100%. And I'll be in on the fans toys and MMC regardless. And I still think the toyworld Devastator is going to be hard to beat, it still looks fantastic, *especially* in person on shelf.
