This is everything I dreamed transformers should be like when I was a kid. The detail. The screen accuracy. The reallly nice job of tucking allot of the kibble away. Except for Silverbolt. But that would be next to impossible to hide that in such a small airframe. The size on these guys is really impressive. I wish I could show this video to my younger self. This video and the live action movie. I think my younger self would be in a TF brain overload coma for a month. Lol.
I have these. I have them transformed as Superion and a few days after I got them, he was knocked off the shelf and broke the left arm connection and one of the back wings... I still love him.
I could imagine having these as a kid in the 80"s trying to transform them while playing and getting so frustrated lol, the generation one and two toys had such a simplistic transformation...that being said, these are awesome.
These aren't really toys; no kid is gonna have the patience to pause their play for half an hour to transform/combine their robots! No, these are kits/puzzles for adult "kids" who are simply feeling nostalgic...☺️
These are cool for adults, but totally useless for playing with. G1 Transformers was great because you could transform fast and without an engineer degree 😂 If they were like that GoBots would have been the top dog instead of Transformers
Are you kidding me? The battles in my room between autobots, GI Joe, my green army men, and He-Man Vs the Decepticons, Cobra, tan army men and Skeletor would last for weeks on end. I wouldve killed for something like this and Devastator even if it took a 45 minute break from the action to set up. All I had was Metroplex to turn the tide

Dont trash this set until you actually have them in hand. I have both the Metalic and Dark sets and I can tell you the Plastics are strong and good if not great quality. The tampo and details are top notch and the Accuracy to the Plane modes are Superb. Combined They are Solid and Superior...I mean Superion. Bot modes are the weak point as not truly G1 but The Alt and Combined modes are worth every penny if not more.
I'd rather have a good bot mode as opposed to a good alt mode. In any circumstance, the alt mode should be sacrificed to ensure that the bot looks fantastic.
yeah, i've got slingshot and air raid from this set, they're both pretty solid figures unfortunately, i haven't been able to find the other three on their own anywhere, it's always the full set of 5
Quite disappointing to hear of inferior plastic & cheap quality issues, This is My favorite Transformers combiner team!! G-1 was stolen from Me along with some others. Nevertheless, I'm willing to bet that I could handle this one though, in spite of it all...!!!! The military jets are spot on: Concord SST, F-15 Strike Eagle, F-4 Phantom, F-16 Lightning bolt & Royal British Navy Harrier Jet!!!! I'd Love to have these Jets!! I have some very fragile figures STILL in like new shape, that are older than My grandchildren!!!! 😊
Ugh, you can hear the sound of the cheap plastic snapping back and forth. I bought some of these trash figures a few years back and have totally regret buying them.
I was thinking they cant form superion because while he was transforming them, i didnt see any of superions features like hands and feet. Then i saw the seperate add on parts, and was disappointed. Still an impressive figure but not for me, at least Bruticus was done right.
There's a couple of things about it that really bother me. For one, none of the wings looked like they tab into anything at all. Then there's just connectivity in general. Nothing sounded securely fit for robot mode. Then the combined form. I'm fine with feet and hands being separate parts especially if that means the robot and vehicle modes for the individual figures can be that much better not having to fit all that and connectors inside, but the chest. Like come on you had the biggest bot to be the torso and he's only the back. The rest is just a big shell that makes up for the arms and show side of his chest. And the head has like zero articulation, not to mention it's just a plug in piece that should've been part of the torso guy. Complaints aside he looks cool and imposing but after all the high quality combiners I've seen this just doesnt cut it for me. The bar's been set too high
Among transformers, Aerialbots are so lame. Basically a bunch of robots each with a jet attached to their backs, that transform into jets each with a large box under the fuselage 😂
I can stand for everything but the torso gimmick really is too much for me. It should have been far way better to find a 6th aerialbot to contribute to the waist section instead of boxing Silverbolt inside the torso piece, and leaving this latter with no reason in separated mode. And, to be honest, the rifle gun was designed as incorporated into the right arm in the original G1 cartoon, rather than being a real hand held gun.
