Honestly, I love MCR and all their separate works, but I think I'm enjoying Frank and Ray's the best. Ray's voice is SO gorgeous! And I love them all, but Frank has always been my favorite. They're all obviously talented though!!!

I was working in the UK section, And he talked to me for ages about playing in the UK and the secret show I saw them do at London Hammersmith Apollo. For someone, Who has always tried to meet MCR at meet n greets, stood in line for hours and always been left disappointed, It made my total fucking life to just randomly meet Ray and his Wife, And chat with them. There was no doubt, As soon as that unmistakable hair walked into the shop, I knew who it was! My colleagues were like "Is he famous?", "He's a god amongst my people!" Lol. Toro Rocks

I'm starting to wonder if there are as many people in the MCRmy as we think there are. Gerard's stuff is getting WAY (no pun intended) more attention than frank and Mikey's stuff, and now with Ray's stuff coming out soon. Like its not just Gee. If you follow Gee after MCR, why not ray Mikey and frank?
I think it might be because there all doing different types of music now, but I think the fact that Gerard was always the most popular member of the group factors into it.

***** It's true, but from what I've seen Frank is getting nearly as much renown for FrnkIero AndThe Cellabration and their new album as Gerard is for his new album. The fact that Gerard was the frontman of MCR might also help him along, though. The thing is, all of them have gone in different directions (genre-wise). Gerard's gone back to his more brit-pop roots, Frank's stayed somewhat punk-rock, Ray's gone in a different direction completely, and I haven't had a chance to listen to Mikey's band yet, so I can't comment on it. The thing is, everyone has a different music taste. I personally like Gerard's and Ray's things more than Frank's, but that's just me. Yes, MCR wouldn't have been MCR without them, but it doesn't mean their solo music or their new band is going to appeal to everyone in the MCRmy.
The thing is that Gees stuff is what I like to listen to right now - happy and energetic songs. I have listen to Rays and Franks music but nothing from Mikey to be honest. But I love them all equally! ♡ People prefer different kind of music and they invidually have different styles. Also gees stuff have been rewied in magasines, I don't know if franks stuff got that.
One of the greatest guitarists of our generation!! I always sang along to his harmonies in MCR's songs, my daughter singing along with Gerard. I love it, and I look forward to all the solo projects to come from my favorite band!

When i listen to all of them seperetly i can hear the influences of MCR in all of them. And it's fantastic that even though they all are creating their own individual music, they will never forget what brought them to where they are
In my humble opinion, and after listening to all the guys solo stuff, Ray's is by far the best, both lyrically and melodically. It's catchy without sounding generic, it's not pretentious but still very polished, and the lyrics are honest and heartfelt. It's amazing he did all of this on his own, writing, recording all vocals and instruments and mixing. Honestly, the more I listen to this, the more I realize how much this man was responsible for MCR's epic sound.

I'm starting to wonder if there are as many people in the MCRmy as we think there are. Gerard's stuff is getting WAY (no pun intended) more attention than frank and Mikey's stuff, and now with Ray's stuff coming out soon. Like its not just Gee. If you follow Gee after MCR, why not ray Mikey and frank?
I think it might be because there all doing different types of music now, but I think the fact that Gerard was always the most popular member of the group factors into it.
I'm listening to their separate stuff, and I really wish I could go see Frank live (24th of February) but I know I won't be able too.
Actually of all the solo things, I have to say. I kind of like Ray's just a bit better.
***** It's true, but from what I've seen Frank is getting nearly as much renown for FrnkIero AndThe Cellabration and their new album as Gerard is for his new album. The fact that Gerard was the frontman of MCR might also help him along, though. The thing is, all of them have gone in different directions (genre-wise). Gerard's gone back to his more brit-pop roots, Frank's stayed somewhat punk-rock, Ray's gone in a different direction completely, and I haven't had a chance to listen to Mikey's band yet, so I can't comment on it. The thing is, everyone has a different music taste. I personally like Gerard's and Ray's things more than Frank's, but that's just me.
Yes, MCR wouldn't have been MCR without them, but it doesn't mean their solo music or their new band is going to appeal to everyone in the MCRmy.
The thing is that Gees stuff is what I like to listen to right now - happy and energetic songs. I have listen to Rays and Franks music but nothing from Mikey to be honest. But I love them all equally! ♡ People prefer different kind of music and they invidually have different styles. Also gees stuff have been rewied in magasines, I don't know if franks stuff got that.

One of the greatest guitarists of our generation!! I always sang along to his harmonies in MCR's songs, my daughter singing along with Gerard. I love it, and I look forward to all the solo projects to come from my favorite band!

There is one thing that I don't understand. In that tweet, Gerard said that he didn't feel comfortable on stage and on stage and things like these.....but now he is making music on his own....why? Why he couldn't just take a break, why he ended MCR? Didn't he like to be in MCR anymore? I'm just really sad right now! (Please excuse my bad English)
He still has something to say (they all do, the proof is on their individual works) and he's said that it's all about having fun doing something you love. For them, MCR just wasn't something fun anymore for w/e reason but the love of music is still there

Wow, I never realized just how amazing Ray sounds.
I'm a little shocked that everybody seems so surprised that Ray Toro sings well. He was the back up singer in My Chemical Romance. I'm slowly going around hearing all of their solo stuff. So far I'm enjoying each of them, but you can hear what elements are missing from each of them. Because it's not My Chemical ROmance, just the member.s

In my humble opinion, and after listening to all the guys solo stuff, Ray's is by far the best, both lyrically and melodically. It's catchy without sounding generic, it's not pretentious but still very polished, and the lyrics are honest and heartfelt. It's amazing he did all of this on his own, writing, recording all vocals and instruments and mixing. Honestly, the more I listen to this, the more I realize how much this man was responsible for MCR's epic sound.
