Nice!!! We just got back from Utah and we did this trail + a few others including Smokey Mountain Road. I will also be putting out a video on our adventure through Utah.
Did you require lockers at all in the first half? I have a 2017 Silverado 6.2l, 3.5 inch lifted 33s. Rear has an auto locker so normally does pretty well. Wanting to get to the sand hill and camp, then turn around and come back out. Possible in such a rig?
Yeah, I think you'll be just fine. If I recall, the only place I used lockers, and probably only the rear, was on the sand hill. That is a seriously steep hill, and that just doesn't translate on video. I also don't recall using lockers anywhere after the sand hill. Another option for you would be to do the trail from the other end, as the back half is a lot more picturesque. I do recall the trail being narrow in spots though. I did see a full-size Raptor on that day. I hope to make it back there one day, that trail is probably the most fun of any trail I've done. Thanks for the comment!
That's a great idea. The only reason I did not go that way is because it was January and I was worried about the water level being too high for the 20+ creek crossings and possibly not being able to cross and having to turn around and go back up the sand hill. In the summer months or a not too wet year, reverse is probably the best plan.
Got it. That's a good idea. I'll try and bust that out, I really do love my mtb. I put about 1,000 miles on it last year but this year is off to an incredibly bad start so far, LOL.
Nice video! And you made it all look so easy.
Glad you liked it!
Knowing how clean you are how can you drive this dirty jeep. Keep it up, fun stuff. Nice river crossing, scary if you get stuck
You are so right about that. I have to clean it immediately pretty much or it will drive me crazy.

That is awesome. We had such a blast doing this trail. I can't wait to do it again!

What about doing the trail backwards so that you go down the sand hill?

Nice!
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback.
I got negative history on the hill too
LOL, you're right, that's not a hill to take lightly. We'll get it on the first shot next time. What an awesome trail though.
You should do a bike check that would be cool
Thanks for the comment. By bike check, are you asking for a video overview on my Santa Cruz Megatower? Wasn't sure what you mean. Thanks!
