I enjoy this class a lot, but I guess there are many other words about social media or about technology un general. I appreciate you make a vocabulary of that.
Hi wes! This lesson is really helpful and I had a great time building my vocabulary, I was wondering if you can make a lesson about good phone etiquette cause it seems like an interesting idea, we moved here in england just 3 weeks ago and I happen to talk to some random native english speaker on the phone the problem is he hung up on me in the middle of our conversation, since when I got off the phone with him I can't stop thinking if I came across pretty strong, rude, funny or weird, the thought keeps nagging me over and over and over again I'm still working with my english so I get nervous when someone would come up to talk to me let alone speak to them over the phone I hope you can help this would really mean a lot🤗
Hello wes sir 😁😁 I always engagement with social media And a lot of peoples share meme in social media My followers are not too more in social media I followed a organisation but now I 'm to unfollow A lot of feed comes in my phone daily Your hashtage is really attractive 😃 These some examples please cheak thesa thank you so much 😊😊
Awesome lesson video❤️Such a helpful lesson to improve my vocabulary. Thanks so much!🙏😊 I'm looking forward to your coming lessons.😊 Have a great week!👋😃
Sir , Can we use Would have usages both ways? Are these same meanings If conditional would have 1)If I had known ,I would have completed. 2)if he had palyed, he would have scored century. 3)if they had invited me,I would have come . 4)if he had bought bat,I wouldn't have bought. 5)if I had known about exams answers, I would have told you. Would have (Normal) probability 1)It would have rained - 2)he would have sent the letter. 3)they would have emailed - 4)it would have crashed. 5)he would have planned.
Great lesson, Wes! These days, kids refer to any joke on social media as a "meme", even though it's supposed to be something that is widely shared... Cyberbully is not often used nowadays - these people are usually called "trolls", because they troll the comments section trying to piss people off.
Good words 👏 Actually some of theme were new for me . I have a question . How we can memorize and understand new words better ? Cause sometimes when i undrestand theme after a while I forgot theme . Do you have a good way for this ?! Thanks for this useful and informative lesson . Aylin from Iran . 🤍🌹
The best way, Ailin, is to expose yourself to a lot of English, so that you hear the same vocabulary words over and over again... there's no other way!
They are not a meme... a meme is a picture with some words combined to make it funny, then shared on social media. If someone took the photo of the kids and put some funny words over the photo, then it could be a meme.
Wes there are a lot of memes teasing 🇺🇸 for their eating habits , politics and healthcare and education systems most of them made by Europeans , your wife is a European, has she ever told you about this ? I have to admit some of them are quite funny , I respect a lot 🇺🇸 tho . Great lesson Wes . Greetings and huge hug from from Mexico .
So lucky i was, when met you, never expected that as you, in such manner as you had my lessons online thanks to coronovirus or no, not thanks to virus, thank to you
to unfollow - I see: to stop is tracking a particular person, group. Would it be better if I say: to stop tracking? Perhaps you committed a mistake in order to check that someone pays attention to your lesson.
Oh man, this kind of thing happened to me on the night before last night, it was like that Amazon thing saying" congrats u won" it wasn't a link but, numbers saying continue, i clicked continue first but i didn't go further than that. is that a problem?!🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️😔
You forgot the most important word: influencer An influencer is someone who has a lot of followers and can "influence" people to buy stuff and are thus able to "monetize" their followers 🤣

Good afternoon dear Wes.
We are watching youtube video about trip to Laos. The filmmaker has shown kids from Laos these kids are smiling Are they meme?
They are not a meme... a meme is a picture with some words combined to make it funny, then shared on social media. If someone took the photo of the kids and put some funny words over the photo, then it could be a meme.

Thanks for sharing with us. I think anytime you see something saying "You won!," there's a good chance it's a phishing scam.
How many social media???
I found my mistake now. I thought the spel for phishing is the same as fishing!

Phishing, can we use it for positive thing. For instance, her sweet heart phishes my love.
With this word, it's really just used in a negative context because people are trying to steal something. 👍
