This is so freaking gorgeous, it's exactly what I thought a 3D DKC game would look like back in the day! Each and every bit is exactly in its correct place as well. It was so fun seeing the camera going through different parts of the map and thinking "Ok, and now there should be... yeah, exactly that!" Only a real fan of the game could have made something this accurate. You can be proud of your work, fella. This is amazing.
You’re so talented, you do an amazing job!!! It gives me hope that the old world will be brought to life and accessible one day. They’re underutilized these days but you’re making the absolute most of them… incredible!
@@MarMaxGaming thank you! i always thought these overworld maps could be amazing in an openworld enviroment, hopefully someday I can finish this project and it can be experienced.
@@music_creator_capable I had this and other areas almost done months ago but had a nasty glitch that covered the whole map in fog and delayed everything.
I wish the new DK games tried to emulate the photorealistc aesthetics of early 90s cg. What we got with the retro studios games does not scratch that itch for a DK game.
@@Mikewee777 this area felt smaller than the other areas so I wanted to try a more relaxed music selection instead of using 5 songs in a 7 minute timeframe.
Those "No-Hopers" items, EarthWorm Jim's Blaster and Sonic's sneakers. THat's harsh. But then again, I've seen this model of Sonic the Hedgehog in pics without the shoes, probably more than the pics with shoes on, and they are made by a talented 3D Modeler and Animator named J.C. Thornton. He also made Conker the Squirrel, but imagine if he also made the Kongs, too! More expressive, more skin options (Dixie's would come from the show, too), and easier to animate! Banana Slamma!
É uma lástima que tantas pessoas hoje em dia não lembrem tanto da triologia country. Seria perfeito se ouvesse um dck4 pre renderizado no n64 e uma sequência no mesmo gênero plataforma com esse estilo de gráfico pro gamecube
This feels like one of those old NVIDIA tech demos when showing off new GPUs
@@EskelWilson yes! I remember those.
Feels like Skyrim a little bit.
That's funny because DKC1 was basically made to show off the newest Silicon Graphics machine's capabilities.

@@danielbueno8474 you’re so right, this guy’s work is really top notch. All of them are just like… holy cow!
Excellent work and Nid the jumping spider really freaked me out when he is jumping and his face is hideous and Arich is on his web looking menacing
Arich looks menacing, but then, It's a wonder that his level isn't called "Arich Arach" to reference one of Rare's earlier titles: Atic-Atac.
One of my favorite tracks from DKC3. Even if a bit of an interesting choice for the map as a whole. That zoom out though! Good Work!
Great job man, looks beautiful and makes me dream back to DKC3.
I thought the saw was gonna show up :D
jesus fuck, the last zoom-out into the world map view was quite literally cinema
Amazing work as usual my dude
