I think the problem is that no matter what the woman or the man says, if they're not in an open relationship to begin with and they're going out of their way to cheat, it's likely they're just settling no matter what they say. They can say that they're with their high school sweetheart but it's highly likely she's not satisfied and there could be other social pressures that women face when they settle down like that. Either way, something is wrong there.
