Sumandari is actually (Sah Mandari ) means Three Mandirs . There were Three Mandars in this village. Hence this village was known by three Mandars. By the passage of time slip of tung or other way people started calling as "Sumandari." Father of famous Indian actor Parithvi Raj ( father of Raj kapoor) was from this village, later he went to Peshawar as he interested in acting and than moved to Bombay.
