I have always loved OCMS and they are the main instigators for me playing my own music and gigging now, and this for me is the ultimate lineup with Willie and Ketch up front in a real raw live street performance! Totally fabulous fellas! Thanks for all the fantastic music over the years🤘🪕
Definitely one of (if not my favourite video) of all time! Just how it seems genuinely basically spur of the moment with no authorities involved. Not many with the oversized male anatomy to actually carry this through nowadays. 💯
Bluegrass it ain't. Written by Artie Butler & Jerry Leiber (of the Lieber-Stoller writing team). First recorded by Alvin ‘‘Shine’’ Robinson, a black New Orleans artist. Later covered by The Coasters and The Rolling Stones.
I may be mistaken, but I believe the older fellow grooving to the music at 1:25 is Jerry Leiber, one of the composers of this song, originally released by Alvin Robinson in 1964. that would mean, of course, that this video would have to have been made prior to his death in 2011.
These boys playing this in the big city and people enjoying sum old school music puts a smile on my face
