A buddy of mine swears he used to work with Sierra at an Applebees in Albuquerque back around 1996. Sierra was the dishwasher I believe. One of the line chefs used to play Bachman Turner Overdrive records on repeat in the kitchen and Sierra hated listening to it especially when she was methed out. She got so pissed one time that she threw a basket of mozzarella sticks at customer wearing a cowboy hat and another time she smashed a microwave because she thought that’s where the music was coming from

I find that the singer of old crow is just a fun loving guy and that’s why Sierra even has a major part in this. Otherwise she’d be a back up vocal like in post malone and Zach bryan songs😤
Matching and complementing each other perfectly. This gets better each time I watch it. Truly brilliant effort from both singers and the band. Out of many collaborations Sierra has done this one goes straight to the top with her duets with Shakey Graves and Zach Bryan. Absolutely stunningly superb. Brilliantly filmed too (though not difficult with these two experts at mugging for the camera) and amazing as it is presumably with little rehearsal. The best of the very best

Love the song, love the performance. Top notch w/out a doubt. But hate the camera work with a passion: It felt like the camera person was standing on a boat during rough seas was dizzy at the same time. Totally distracted and detracted from the enjoyment of the video. (but not the song since I'll probably listen to it more when it hits spotify).

I actually did spend the next 90 minutes recovering from that and it was only after I started feeling better that I made the connection between the two events. Now, I'm sure that the aesthetic might be pleasing for some (you obvi), but I stand by my general criticism, but if I had not had a ;ooming headache maybe I might not have been so cutting. :)
This tempo is grim, mostly because the back-beat is all over the place. Her own band lays it down nice. She needs to be leading everything with her own crew.

I don't want to put hers down as they are talented and lovely people buy I feel she needs to take things to the next level with a band at the level of Emmylou Harris's original Hot Band say. Just my opinion! Oh, and I'd also like to see her given her own TV show!
