I'd like to know the same thing.. I see in some forum and Facebook group posts that depending what combination of CG vs GA flywheel or CG vs GA starter motor, a spacer is needed to get the flywheel and starter motor to align properly. Wonder if there's something similar happening with the clutch engagement? I've never attempted this swap or seen or talked to anyone who has, but I'm going to try the QG18 swap with some Gizfab mounts towards the end of the year.
What radiator is that? i'm trying to look for thicker a radiators since my micra is overheating on the track after driving hard for too long. Your answer would be greatly appreciated :)
@@44ro.n Yeah i was just confirming my findings, i found a very similar eg civic radiator for 80€ and ill go get it soon, Thanks a lot and i love your k11 a lot!
@@pehmeapippuri8376 thanks man! The one I used was super cheap and isn’t as thick as some you can get. The ports are in slightly different places but they worked for me.
@@44ro.n Mine was a 1.3l from the factory and so is the 1.3l engine in it now too so the coolant output and input are on the opposite side of yours but i know i can just adjust the lower one to fit, as long as it isn't touching the header i mean lmao. I have watched all of your stuff as soon as they have come out, i do respect the fact that you swapped yours and started from the ground up basically, keep going my man !
Hi i am doing what you are doing now fitting this engine into my micra i have it in now but 1 problem of many you might be able to help how did you get over the plugging in of the engine harnes to the interior loom the plugs are different did you youse the 1 litre ecu or the 1.4 because i have both to utalise also did you youse the 1 litre throttle or the 1.4
I’m using the standard 1.0 ecu and engine loom. To do this I had to use the original 1.0 throttle body. It does run a little lean like this but it’s been absolutely fine for me
@@44ro.n ok i will have to swap them over tomorrow then and use the 1l throttle lastly how did you overcome the rear and front mount for the rear of the gearbox they are tight and dont linr up unless yo bolt 1 and fource it into place then its tight everwhare also was your gear shift linkage tight to the body of the care and did you just run with its position
@@leeobrien247 my rear mount and gearbox mount lined up like normal, i think i had to use some washers on one of the rear mounts to make it line up with the block part better. I then made my drivers side mount from that position. Gear linkages sit in the standard place for me, no issues there.
@@44ro.n thank you for the help so far i tryed everything today you told me everything worked bar the rear mount so my question is did you use the 1.4 box mount to take the 1 litre subframe mount i spaced it with washers no joy i fourced in place bolted to the cross member no joy either im running out of patience and time for it i will eat it next 🤣🤣🥰
@@leeobrien247 All good man! I used my original 1.0 rear mount, only difference is I made it into a polybush. If I remember correctly it all bolted up as normal other than needing some washers in one place. If I can find a time stamp in one of my vids that shows this i’ll let you know
Great videos mate keep them coming 👌
what was wrong with the clutch after?

Actually no idea! I left the car idling for a while when i was bleeding the cooling system and it had magically fixed itself 😂

It was just a cheap aluminium rad from ebay for a Honda, required the mounting brackets modifying tho
