I do a wheat vodka both for bottling and the base for my gin. 50kg (110lbs) of malted wheat in a 200L(52gal) batch. Bakers yeast, pitching at 23C (73F) and nothing else. I strip it, then run through four plates with dephleg pulling it off at 186 proof. Really nice sipping vodka. The only problem I have with it is that foams up in fermentation like crazy. Even tried half filling the fermenter and hot cubing the rest to add later. It still foams all over the place, big mess. Any clue how deal with that ?

I noticed that you are using the equipment from Dr. Gradus and I have a small request. I also bought the equipment from Dr. Gradus just about the time the war started in Ukraine. Unfortunately due to the Western sanctions on Russian products, Dr. Gradus has stopped its operations since May 2022 and its website is not working since then. Maybe you already know that. The issue is that I was expecting the user manual to be sent by email to me but as they stopped their operations I didn't get it. I was wondering if you have received their manual by email and could forward it to me or upload it in wetransfer. Thank you for your time. My opinion is also the same as yours, that their equipment is great and I hope that they would be able to come back again in business.
