    I personally use the MJJC Pro foam cannon. It comes with different orifices. I changed it to the 1.1. And I love it! My GSF I use a 5:1 ratio and get amazing shaving type foam. Good luck!

      Thanks for watching. I'm in the middle of editing a foam cannon battle between a Trinova and a MTM. I'll check out the MJJC next.

    If you're only gonna get one foam cannon I'd say pick the one you like from the following:
    1. MTM PF 22.2
    2. MJJC Pro V2
    3. Griots Garage Brilliant Foam Cannon (not the Boss)
    4. MJJC S V3 (might need to look for it, same head as the Pro V2, but a different bottle and connection)
    Those are all top perfomers. There are different advantages to all of them. The MTM is nice cause you can buy additional bottles and bottle caps, so you can have premixed solutions in various bottles, or just not waste product and cap it off for later. The negative of the MTM is the smaller bottle opening. The MJJC and the Griots Brilliant Foam Cannon both produce slightly more thick foam...maybe like 2-5% thicker than the MTM, depending on soap. The rest is bottle, value, and brand preference.

      @@ClearViewSolutionsMS No problem. Mind you when I say that the MJJC and Griots produce thicker foam, that's not to say that the MTM doesn't produce shaving cream. That was the foam king until the other two came around, and it's not like you'd be disappointed if you use the MTM. It's only when you have them together side by side with something like Adam's Mega Foam, that you'll notice slightly thicker foam from the other two...slightly. Though to be honest with you while thick foam looks cool and is just a fun and pleasant experience spraying it, I think it actually has slightly less actual cleaning power than a more runny foam. If you think about it, a lot of that thick foam just sits on itself, rather than making contact with the car panel, so the PIR (Panel Impact Ratio) is actually lower per same dose of soap mix, than it if it was more runny and more of the soap actually makes contact and pulls the dirt down as it flows down. If you're just using it as a pre-wash, have fun with thick suds, but if you're going for a touchless wash, you'd get more dwell time at higher PIR with a slightly runnier foam application. I really recommend either Bilt Hamber Touch-Less or Auto Foam, those two will actually pull serious dirt and grime off just from a foam and rinse application. Cheers!

    I love K-C GSF. You might also try their NMS if you want to add some protection to your coating now that you deconed it. It’s more expensive and I’m not sure it’s worth the extra money but might be worth a shot.

    I wish you would’ve explained how long it’s been since you applied the coating, but by the sounds of everything you’ve stated the video it most definitely sounds like you had a bonding issue which coincides with prep/ pre-application. Did you do a full chemical and mechanical decontamination after the main wash, then follow up with a polish stage and then IPA wipe down? The reason why coatings cost so much and usually take a long ass time is because not for the coating itself, but the PREP that goes into it, because preparation is everything, and it 95% sounds like you have a bonding issue, more than likely your coating isn’t there any more

    • @ClearViewSolutionsMS
      @ClearViewSolutionsMS  2 роки тому

      It's still there. The issues were on the horizontal surfaces, not the vertical surfaces. I did a good decon wash with tar and iron remover. Problem solved. The coating had been on at that point for 9 months.
      Thanks for watching!

    its not your foam cannon it's your pressure washer. You need a pressure washer that puts out atleast 1.8 gallons. I had a sunjoe and the foam was slightly better than yours, but now i have the Active VE52 that puts out 1.8-2 gallons per minute and it puts out crazy foam now with a cheap amazon foam cannon

      Thanks for watching. I did a foam cannon video and I swapped the orifices to 1.1. The Cannons sprayed better on the same washer.

    As I am sure you are aware by now, your coating is completely gone in the video. You can't revive it. There's no coating left on it.

    I think if you would’ve used on Gs you wouldn’t gotten a cleaner surface from just a foam and rinse since GSF is for cars that are not that dirty and ceramic coated

    I'm starting to think the detail industry is just another money grabber. My 4 month old coating is flat on the side panels as well. I have not cleaned it because of the snow and salt but will awe what it will take to bring it back. Or maybe they just fail like waxes and polymer sealants.

    • @ClearViewSolutionsMS

      Try a contact wash on it. I coated a small SUV that stopped sheeting/beading on the lower door panels and quarter panels. A contact wash solved that in that case. I'm not sure what's up with this car, but I put a topper on it and let it go for now. I'll try a decon washir a light polish next time it's up. Thanks for watching!

    You know green star is not ph netural its akline so by adding it you are making soap more alkline maybe just a bit I dunno how much by those cap full not a chemist

    • @ClearViewSolutionsMS
      @ClearViewSolutionsMS  2 роки тому

      Thanks for watching! I know it's Alkaline. The cap full probably tilted the soap more to the Alkaline spectrum of the Ph Chart, but not that far. I wanted to make it little more aggressive during the foam bath and wash.

    • @KiranPatel-fk1pg
      @KiranPatel-fk1pg 2 роки тому

      @@ClearViewSolutionsMS If you want an alkaline shampoo you might as well just get active foam which is cheaper and a mild alkaline yet once it goes through your pressure washer the ph is about neutral at 7.5

      If you feel a third run of foam with Carpro lift, it seems you are not very confident on the gsf abilities to clean your car. You foamed it up. Contact wash. Then foamed it with lift. That car is clean.
