I have a 2022 in Amplify Orange, with just the standard little body color rockers and carbon flash accents. I LOVE the look of the 1VM rockers, and they will look fantastic on the car! I will probably order these once the weather warms up.
The question I have is, are you drilling the ribits into the plastic of the car? And what is the secondary tool or bit you are using to plug the ribits?
Hi Brian, you are drilling through the rocker panel of the car (It is SMC material). The secondary tool I think you are referring to is a rivet gun. It is what collapses the rivet. Something like this: acscomposite.com/products/hand-riveter-kit-with-dial-head-riveter let us know if that doesn't answer your questions!
Hi there . Love the 1VM rockers ! Wondering if some Holiday discounts could be on the horizon ? My C8 is coming in December . I love your rock guards too .
I tried using rivets on my side skirts after drilling 3/16" holes on the underside, but they wouldn't pop!! Ended up cutting off the rivet stem and drilling it off. What did I do wrong?
By pop, you meant the nail didn't come off the head of the rivet or the rivet didn't collapse and crimp? The nail should come off. If you are using a manual one, then typically it takes about 2-3 squeezes
@@ACSCOMPOSITE Guess then that I'm going to get a really big box when I order the jack stands along with the 1VM rockers. Thanks for the reply and looking forward to this new product.
It is unclear to me how to remove the drilled out rivet bits that end up inside the panel. Could you please mention how this is done so that there are no rivet bits still rattling around inside the panel? Thanks.
Might need to make a video on this. We use compressed air at the shop. You can peel the OEM panel down a bit using a trim tool similar to how we installed the rivets. Get air in there and you can blow them out
@@ACSCOMPOSITE Blow them to where? I'm pretty car savvy and I did install my OEM black rocker covers, but I'm not sure where the bits will go once they are "blown." Can the OEM rocker panel (once fore and aft screws are removed) be lowered just enough to create a big enough gap for the bits to make their way out? Thanks again.
@@JohnOleksey Once they are pulled down, if you can get compressed air in there you will be able to blow them out from where you pulled down on the rocker.

Does the bottom of the 5VM rocker allow for C8 jacking pucks to be permanently installed?
Yes, we made that prevision! Good question :)

@@ACSCOMPOSITE I tried using 1/8" grip short 3/16" rivets. Nail didn't come off, maybe my rivet gun sucks lol
LIKED THEM ALOT APPARENTLY THEY HAVE A LARGER CORVETTE TAX ATTACHED TO THEM
Crazy comment but where did you get those jackstands and how did you manage to use them on the existing jack points?
They are in development and we will start offering them this year. We will also shoot a video on how to use them :) stay tuned
