Excellent Video/Interview Paul 😊. Chad is on point 💯 percent correct. American is going to 💩 in a hand basket for sure. Ok, 109 day's to go before I move to the Philippines 🇵🇭. March 13th is right around the corner. Keep the video's comin. Stay Safe 💕 💞 🙏 🙏.
Chad seems to have grasp the change from western societies to SE Asia. Yes people are people but other cultures, environments, politics, food, infrastructure, education, history, resources and what I find most damaging is politics. Speaking from a western man's perspective - to be respected, loved, needed / appreciated, to lead, protect, provide security financially and emotionally, to be ethical, moral and possibly religious are how western men encapsulate what it is to be a man. With that comes pressure, responsibilities and at times burdens = stress, worry, competition, ego, mental/emotional issues which causes the foregoing of PEACE. As stated by another commentor - the USA has lost what's most valued. I left with NO regrets and hopefully will never go back.
I remember back when my husband was courting me and I mentioned my English and he said that it was fine, that I'm smarter than him as he only speaks English while I speak at least Tagalog, Visayan and English. That comment puts me at ease from then on. I enjoy this content so much. We're 7 months away from moving back to retire in the Philippines and can't wait. Thanks Paul.
Political, racial and sexual division were my deciding factors in deciding to retire in the Philippines. My late Wife was a Filipina, and was the best 13 years of my life. After losing her, American women didn’t measure up, and that’s why I began looking at finding a Filipina to live out my life with. Retirement would be financially difficult in the U.S., and now that I’ve found the right Filipina, living in the Philippines with emotional and financial stability is a no-brainer for me.
I am a lucky one who found my phillipina in the USA. She has a couple more years to work to qualify for SS when she reaches 62. We are planning to move to Cebu area Your vlogs are invaluable Paul. Thank you!! Good luck to you Chad on your new adventures
@@markthomson170 I am not sure about that. She is in her fifties and just needs forty quarters to qualify. She will have to wait till 62. I am 6 years older than her. I wanted someone more my age. Can’t keep up with the younger ones 😂
Does anyone know about the theory/conspiracy to end SSA and all branches of the program? What is the probability of SOCIAL GRADING/SCORES and USA Govt. CONTROL? What is the talk about USA Currency being negated and converted to DIGITAL Currency? Why is this widely spread over SOCIAL MEDIA?
Great stuff Guys! I'm 48 and living between Samar and Las Vegas. This year: 4 months in Samar/ 8 months in Vegas. Next year I'm reversing it. then by 2025 full time Philippines. I have a fondness for a simpler life which I just can't find in the States anymore.
It's interesting listening to you both talking about here in the Philippines versus back in the USA. After much thought I think I might know the answer: In the Philippines people here are naturally friendly and share whatever they have around friends. Nobody feels like a stranger when invited into a Filipino home. You become part of the extended family of friends. Money and stress are always there but not openly discussed. Traditional roles are still the normal rules and ways of life. I am surrounded by much laughter and smiles. Filipina work hard in maintaining family connections from parents and her new family, husband and children. Having a good education is the goal for all Filipino children. Being closely aligned with Western Culture and having a better life for family & children. Dating is more traditional and on first dates it's common for a Filipina to bring a friend along. Children are very respectful of their elders. Dating is like 1950's style. No pressure, making friends first with connections of more friends along the way. This is polar opposite of life in the USA. Life is stressful in everyday activities. Politics & religion are in your face at every turn. Women are independent and career first, family second, husband third or fourth on the list Marriage is survival and roles of men & women are blurred. Their is always more toys, things or gadgets to buy. You seldom talk to your neighbor or nay not know who they are. Someone knocking on your door is met with alarm and distrust. Children are taught Safe Words.. stranger is danger. Now which lifestyle do you prefer?
If you are a believer, then you must never forget that we are on Satan's turf and destined to suffer and be destroyed. I've come to wonder why mankind we're created in the first place? Did God feel the need to be worshiped, was he lonesome, why are you challenged to praise him and give your soul and being to him or be doomed to HELL? HOW IS THAT LOVE? I'm asking a legitimate question...
Women are the backbone of a society. If the majority of women act like they do in the Philippines, then the society will follow. If they are broken, lack traditional values are materialistic and independent like in the Western English speaking countries, the culture is broken and getting worse with each generation.
are u kidding me, how long have u been in the PI? In the long run, it is the complete opposite of what you said. They only want your money, or what they can get from you in the future. They are not respectful to elders, unless its their own relatives. I have been visiting the PI for 25 years, and lived here for 7 years. I am leaving for good,,,tired of the crap and people
I agree with Chad 100%, am 36 and already have a plan to do the same thing with the next 3 years. Have been travelling to SEA since I was 25 so that's 11 years of travel and I feel the lifestyle and in these countries is so much better than the west, as long as you can afford it and have a plan to sustain yourself long term. Amazing Interview by the way Paul as always.
You describing me, but I am from middle east, I am 38, but planning to retire in pattaya MAX 2035 to be financially secure to retire, eventhough, I am not planning to get married there
Chad is very articulate and pragmatic in dealing with his love life. Old dog lets Chad do most of the talking which is great. As always thank you Paul for an excellent interview.
Chad is a good guy, and have followed him from the start of his journey, and his return to the US, and back to the Philippines. He has been with a few women, but he found out that things are tough even there. Great interview, and to find a Filipina that is part of the decisions in life with her is the best part of a great relationship 😊
I started watching your channel a couple months ago. It’s funny cause I’m with a Filipino girl here in the United States. This channel is really making me wanna live Outside the United States. I’ve done a bunch of traveling through Southeast Asia in Europe. About the same age as your guest and the stress in America with the inflation, division, and overall lifestyle is insanity
My son was lucky, he just turned 32 this month and he's been living with his Indonesian GF the past 4 years in southern California. She's a beautiful women like Filipina's with that dark skin tone. She has a very traditional mindset and is well educated with her master's degree like my son. Every 6 months they fly to Jakarta to stay with her family for a month, in fact they are leaving next week. They will build a life together here in California and spend 2 months a year in Indonesia with her family. They both make 6 figure incomes and plan to retire in 20 years in Indonesia.
I'm an older Millenial Woman and I 100% agree with you guys. The First wave feminism was really helpful, the 2nd and 3rd did nothing but destroy the traditional family values. Not only that but many Women have become completely inappropriate appearance wise. They wear basically nothing at the gym. I am not uptight but I find this shocking. Looking forward to come to the Philipines in a few days! Thanks for a great channel!
It's great to have feedback from a lady's perspective. I've noticed the gym attire issue as well. They're trying to attract that 01% handsome wealthy single guy and hope that he treats them better than he likely will. The rest of the mere mortal guys who glanced her way, will probably end up on a video with various harsh comments from the girl.
When I got home a week ago, my 24 yo Son who is half Filipino told me he finally went on a Filipino dating site. He was dumbfounded at what is out there compared to what his choices are here. He makes great money, a serious musician, tall, and just a stud. So glad he is seeing the light.
Thanks again Paul, you are a rock star interviewer, I am in a LDR with a young lady in CDO. She is a Pastor and Enterepunier with a likewise passion for service for the Kingdom of God. It is an age gap relationship. I am hoping to come back in February or March. The plan is to winter in the Philippines for 6 months and 6 months in Canada. I have a strong dislike of cold weather. I was born in Jamaica, came to Canada at the age of 16.
Great conversation with Chad !! He is very wise to share to other guys that have or thinking about making the move to Ph...like I did April 3, 2018, after I retired to Luzon.
The last time I dated in the US was in Indianapolis circa 18 to 20 years. I was in my 40s, and people were already saying I was too old. I did ok with dating there but my 2 most girlfriends there were divorced with kids. This can get complicated.
I have zero desire to date in USA, last date was 2009 as I divorced in 2019. She was Thai, together 9 years but did knot hurt me money wise at all, but scared to ever bring one back after that! The alternative is move to their country, but I do not like PH by itself if you take the girls out of the equation.
Common 40s isn't too old just go to big city and plenty of singles in this age group. I can see after 60 though it gets very hard but by then you're better off to settle down.
@@2000ViperGTSsubscribe100% agree aside decent English levels the subpar infrastructure, services and product availability also not to mention volcanos, earthquakes, typhoons, and flooding. Thailand, Malaysia or Vietnam might be better choices as spots to live in.
The more this dude chad is talking, the more i want to hear from him! i cant put my finger on it, but he does has the talking skills and the life experience. i would like to follow him if he ever put out something on youtube.
I feel the need to do my part. I want to earn my respect. Work hard and save as much as possible. Don't want to be broke over there. 65 is my end game. Women alone are not my deciding factor in my move. Just a bonus if I meet one there.
Lovely video. Chad seems like a good guy, from his vlogs, and the way he responds to the viewers comments, not a bully to women's honest comments, he's a professional. Definitely no shark smile
Just happened to see my first Chad video from a year ago about going to meet the girl in the province about a week or so ago. WoW! What an adventure. Nice interview today.
My hubby and I have been married for almost 43 years and planned to retire in the Philippines but will never materialize due to bad health, I miss the country so much!
Really good younger perspective. Paul, I dont think Ive ever seen you w so few words in a discussion all these years😂. You did good w the head nodding tho.😅 …and a few questions. When you have such a good subject so willing to share -easy right? I will be there for my 2nd recon visit in January at Sierra Resort again - your channel very helpful in a successful visit last time. Im 63, met Mike who spoke very highly of you among Tubers. Would be fun to meet you - we have some similar background stuff. and Will be working on line while there. Thanks, John from Indiana.
I live in the epicenter of materialism in the US. Fortunately I just got my Spanish\EU citizenship which will open new opportunities for me. Materialism is something that hits me like a terminal disease.
Excellent interview, Paul. Chad's overview of his time in the Philippines, so far, is great, especially, since I'll be there in February and I'm a single retired Army guy. Thank you 🙏
June 2024, I will be making my final destination in the Province of Rizal, Delfin Albano, Isabela, Philippines. Which is in the Northern part of the main island. I Love the semisolitude.
Europeans, Americans, Canadians, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Australians, Indians....they all go there and are draining the pool of decent eligible women quickly ;-)
"Entitled". I couldn't have put that better myself. I'll be joining you guys soon. My wife and son are waiting for me in Bicol. You have a new subscriber 😊. I'm back to Bicol for 4 weeks after next week and planning to make the permanent jump in '24. Cheers, Craig.
Awesome video, answered a few questions I had. I hope to be there in the next couple few years. Chad is the same age as me, good to hear from his point of view. Thanks Paul.
I had already subscribed to Chad's channel a few months ago. It's nice to see younger guys like him and carefree Chris checking out Dumaguete. I'm 56 and super excited about checking out The Philippines in a couple of weeks!!!
I must admit, the females in PI are appealing. The neighbor across the street had a yard sale. At least 300 people dropped by. I sat on the porch and watched. I came to conclude that any female at less than 300 pounds in my town is a 10. 8)
Haha, yeah...I've long thought one of the benefits of moving abroad, at least in terms of dating is the average woman here weighs close to 200lbs where as you go to Asia the average woman weighs more like 110. Suddenly you are in a market where being a healthy body weight doesn't make them hot among their peers, it makes them average among their peers. If you are just an average guy looking for an average woman why not go look where average is simply better?
@@gemox3225living in America these days is like having beer goggles on. You find a woman who doesn't come with her own gravity field and you're all starry-eyed! Just don't drink too much beer because you might wake up and choose to knaw your arm off like a coyote, so as not to wake up the female you find yourself with 😅
I am gonna spend a month in The Philippines in March 2024 for the first time for a vacation / scouting trip. And I am hoping to move to Cebu City in 2025 .. If I can find a place / condo with good enough home internet to allow me to work remotely. If it all works out, I think I'll have it made. I am currently 43 years old from deep South Texas.
Eventhough I am planning to retire in pattaya MAX 2035 when I will be age 50, hence I started traveling more to pattaya, but I like to watch Paul's channel for his insights I fully recommend to watch the early videos in this channel as well
Chad provided direct and salient points Paul of why so many men in the West are looking elsewhere for relationships. Modern feminism in the West is the great tragedy of our time. It has managed to make almost everything toxic including most of Western women. Best wishes for Chad.
NEVER Sell Your REAL ESTATE! (like I did) Thats so smart. Keep it as part of your comfortable ESCAPE PLAN. Remember, the "Paradise Sydrome" of life in the PH can wear off real fast, and over 50% of expats end up returning "home" within five years (like I did). Nowadays, what with rents and home prices you could easily find yourself not only alone again, (like me), but also "homeless" and living in an RV being a snowbird traveler. Luckily I found a town where prices were still semi-acceptable for houses. Rent out your house don't sell it. Remember that nothing lasts forever. Statistically you will split up with "her" and she could easily be running the "long con" on you without you having a clue (like my Filipina was). Have a "bomb-proof" Pre-Nup but also remember that a smart girl can figure out ways around even that with the right lawyer. Things can slide into the crapper there real fast. Cover your butt.
just leave most of your assets back in the states marry her in her country keep your house there ,things can go south real quickly in a marriage always have an exit plan that you can execute on a moments notice. I’ve been married 7 years to my Filipina have a small house here . no reason to move her back to the states I split my time between here and there it’s difficult for me to cope with the humidity so I avoid the hot season here .
It’s much harder for her to go after your assets if you don’t make the mistake of bringing her back and marrying her in your country. if you flee from her and go back home she can still get a lawyer to go after your assets. but less likely to go thru the hassle or be able to afford hiring one.
Nowadays most women are running the “long con” on men no matter where they’re from 🤣🤣🤣 the difference in the Phil’s is if you get a divorce or separated you just walk away give her the 40,000 dollar house. you knew beforehand that it was hers from the start 😊 much better than losing everything in the states to a western woman and ending up with only a jock strap and a pair of socks.
Great interview. I moved to Asia a year and a half ago and have had a similar experience. Including starting a youtube channel when I got to the philippines. 😂
@@AForeignerAskingQuestions it won’t be like divorce as we know it in the US, but yes it’s coming to the Philippines. It’s going to give women in abusive relationships a chance to start their lives over…
I went in the army in 1972 and went to several different countries and I was always ready to get back to my home land. I might travel again out of the country but I will be back. Politics here now is diverse, and I am a republican and will stay that way the democrats here has went completely nuts. So I’ll stay here and do what I can to fight for my country. Good luck to everyone that leaves I understand. We will make it maybe.
I believe in the separation of the roles. My wife leave to me all the important stuff, you know the geopolitics things, USA-Russia-Middel East-Asia, the progress of science, the future of the planet... And I leave to my wife to deal with the less important things : where to rent and live, what school to enroll the kids, the family helthcare coverage, etc. 😂
I would have loved to go to the filpines and meet some beautiful women 😍 But it is to far away for me i think. I will drive from Norway to Benidorm (about 2890 km) in January to escape the winter cold and drive home in April when the spring is on. Love your videos Paul! Best regards from Norway 🙂
Hi @egilgreibesland8967 Thanks, mate! We appreciate the kind words and love having you along for the journey through our vlogs. Safe travels to Benidorm!
I know a dozen men in Canada who met and married Filipinas who came over as care-givers and nurses. A couple has been happily married for over 30 years, while several couples have been married for 2 to 20 years.. A couple of them have divorced. Several of the Filipina ladies were divorced from their husbands who were not faithful during their many years of living in different countries. I guess who we meet and who we marry are the "luck of the draw", "written in the stars" or ordained by The Big Chief in the Sky, whose Name many of us exalt. I wish Chad the very best: may he meet the lady of his dreams and may they live happily ever after, and during, marriage. Note: from my personal experience and observations, no matter who we marry or where we live, there will always be challenges, and even trials and testings after the honeymoon.
Paul… I’ve been following you for about a year and this is one of my favorite interviews. I’m 53 planning to move to the Philippines just trying to get all my ducks in a row… American dating is really terrible. And you know honestly, I usually check for five of the boxes that some women have they just have no desire to put any work in the US.
One of my first dates in Philippines, in Cebu City, my date asked if I needed laundry done as I was staying in a hotel. The next day she returned with my clothing, underwear included, washed, bleached, pressed and folded. Now, happily married to a filipina going on 13 years. No regrets.
@gustavscholten597 oh, she was not the one I married. But! The one I did marry does all my laundry and folds it so neatly it looks like it came fresh off the store shelf each time.
Hi Chad, you seems to be a very nice guy, good - looking and very reserved. I hope and pray that one day you will meet an educated Filipina girl that you might like and love and loves you back. Take your time, and be careful. Do not choose a girl that has a large family for you might end- up a bread winner for the whole family. Good Luck Chad, welcome to my beautiful Country. Watching from the U.S.A.
The dating in the US is not localized to the US. China is going thru the exact same dating issue. There are 30-35 million more males than females in the dating age range so Chinese women, and their parents, could be picky in husbands. That triggered hypergamy until Chinese women demand the man already own a house and buy and a $30k USD dowry to her parents. And now Chinese women can't "find" a husband. Where are all the "good" men. Sound familiar to American men? Hypergamy is instinctual in human females and good for our species. But when limits go away it can kick into creating huge problems. In the US women can have high paying careers so they don't have the "I need a man to eat" fear anymore. So they became more picky. That lead to 80% of women limited to just 20% of men and women saying "where are all the good men?" and dating men who have several women on the hook and no need to marry. So US women think dating is horrible and it is because of who they're picking.
Alright ! Two well spoken guys getting down to the heart of the matter..good discourse and discussion..you both get an A today or a 10 if you prefer lol…thx for the vid 🙏🏻🇹🇭🇵🇭
I can totally relate to the bit about political division in the U.S. God forbid you make a new friend and find out you have opposing political views. It can quickly get ugly. I lived in Mexico and never was there this hateful political division. It's off the charts in the U.S. and gets tiring.
Hey Paul great video like to add younger guy with the right attitude. I'm visiting Olongapo PI next year been watching 3 years or more Hes right wife died last year and got online talking with 30s and 40s women just fakes and liars and Im 60 but its a real posilbility over there( I'm only saying that was my experience online) great video
Great conversation. Men and women not needing each other is a crisis without solutions. If she cannot be a receiver then you (a giver) are a zero. It only works if it’s easy and even that risks boredom as your presence will hold her back from self actualization that she’ll call growth. Prenup the inevitable death spiral so you can walk away clean is the stop gap for men. It’s comfortable, I suppose, but “don’t you want challenge and to live?” I feel my conscience ask again and again.
Very inspiring, your conversation, thank you. Never been to The Philippines, would like to date as well as meet new people. Don’t know if negros/ dumaguete would be a good starting point? Greetings 👍✨
Hi @freisein6554 Glad you're inspired! We love Dumaguete and Negros Oriental - it's a great place to settle in. Come visit, we'd be happy to show you around!
I’m watching your videos and enjoying them very much. Do you have any expats that have moved to the Philippines with their Filipina wives from the States. This is my situation and my wife doesn’t want to return to the Philippines. I want to retire there.
Moving to the Philippines just to hunt for a wife seems like a waste of time to me, time I can not replace. I am happy with my living arrangements here among the farmers and I realize that most of the USA is becoming a toilet, but perhaps I live in the last decent place in America. Whether it be medical assistance, travel, entertainment, internet and power, or simply shopping for food, it would seem that I am in much better shape than most in the Philippines, so by doing my wife hunting via the internet I am able to reduce the legwork others spend so much time on there. If I manage to reconnect with my MIA pinay I will visit Cebu as a tourist, but other than marrying her I see no reason to remain and live there. Maybe after I tour the areas in the U.S. with my future wife I've yet to visit I might consider the big move, but not before. Great information, Paul! Thank you for sharing your efforts.
Did you know that there is a very large concentration of Filipinas in Hong Kong@@paulinthephilippinesolddog9234 ? My wife and I had to go to the Philippine Consulate to register our marriage and I was shocked by how many pinay WOMEN were over there!
Great interview Paul, thanks Chad... I'm a fellow Canuck eh' Chad!!! Retired early at 56, 5 years a'back. Secure in life with my Defined Pension. And lifetime Private Health Benefits *while in Canada. But considering a simpler? Tropical Isle Retirement Lifestyle. Unlike you Chad, I sold my Toronto Condo. And invested in Bank GIC Equity Funds Guarrenteed no lower than 4.95%. Pays my rent. In downtown high priced "Yorkville." Downsized to a rental studio apartment when Real Estate prices were (still are) ridiculously high. Pocketed, invested some good cash there. So I would be free, to make retirement plans. Been watching many UA-cam videos on worldwide retirement locales. And the Philippines looks like a great option, with its somewhat English speaking communication. ***One way to notice English speaking areas. Is I go to a specific area (led to by a video? Maybe) Check area on Google Maps, then go to Street View. And see how many signs, street and business signs are in English!! Chad you look like a French Canadian???😊 Will have to visit your UA-cam site!!!l
Helloooo! Just wondering which bank you invested in and when? I’m a Filipina that moved here in Canada a little over a decade ago and people always advise against investing in banks due to low rates. Thank you
i love this guys videos and i hate to be disagreeable but about the only thing that is mainly true is older guys and guys who didnt get nicer looking girls can do that in the philipines.i was thinking about all thast in my 20s and wrote quit a few ladies in the 90s.never made the move because i just didnt feel it.then i got on a chatting forum where it was with philipinos .we werent looking to find someone we were all just friends.i really learned a lot.for the most part those ladies have been modernized in thoughts and beliefs .the place itself may not be up to date but many of the thought processes and ideals can be the same.these ladies still want the top 10 percenter of guys like in the usa,the thing is u moving over there are the top 10 percenters, thats why u do so well over there, but u are still being used for the security u can provide .its not about u as a person.
39, single, living in the states here. My mind is in the same place as Chad's in a lot of ways. Dating and relationships here is just a mess. Too many women want to play the field through their teens, 20s, and into their 30s that by the time they're ready to settle down, who wants them? like you guys talked about, modern women rules when it suits them, traditional women rules when it suits them, so you basically agree to a bad deal by having them in your life. Its ok when you are always paying for date night, but man, ask her for a home cooked meal and a lot of them these days think that is the patriarchy oppressing them when you demand(you know, by asking) them to cook dinner. I thought I'd marry someone in their early 20s when I was in my early to mid 20s and build a life together...not have to settle for a fat single mom in her mid 30s with a disgusting body count and mountains of debt and mental baggage that thinks all men are pigs because she chose to sleep around for the last 20 years of her life while guys like me were "too nice" or "too boring." Meanwhile I could just hop on over to PH and finding a partner 15 or so years younger isn't a big deal, and it will be someone who actually prioritizes family, not someone who prioritizes short term fun just to wonder why their life is a mess when they're my age. At this point, I'm making six figures, debt free, net worth north of a million, in good shape and still hit the gym regularly, and just can't wait to get out. If I was alive during my grandparents generation, I'd have been considered a catch, these days, they just want me for the cleanup guy when they're pushing 40. No thanks. Again, same boat as Chad here where I just need the finances to line up a bit better. Working remote isn't really an option in my line of work and I don't want to walk away from my career too early. I think a few more years to pad the numbers and get a few more paid into the SS formula is a prudent decision to make sure I'll be retired in comfort and not pinching pennies down the road. Its just sad when the American dream for more and more men isn't a wife, a house with a white picket fence, 2.5 kids, and a dog...but rather just early retirement and rolling the dice somewhere else because the game is rigged against you here. All I know is I got about 3 more years of grinding, I'm selling my place here, and with my assets and dividend income I'll be enjoying a comfortable life as a 0.1%er in PH. My life is going to look so much different from a lot of my friends who married modern day feminists in their 30s, popped a kid or two out, divorced 5-10 years down the road, and are currently serving court ordered sentences of divorce induced poverty until they're in their 50s. They're paying quite the price for a piece of tail 20+ guys got to sample for free before them.
I just turned 40 and it's really not as bad as you made it out to be. You can blame technology as finding a partner is easy now so much for younger people can find a partner within a swipe easily on an app and get replaced just as fast. By the way the Philippines it's also very similar too especially in Manila and Cebu so coming here it's not really much different in that approach. Nothing is rigged against you here you just need to take the initiative. If you're attracted to Filipinas there are many of them in the States and Canada too. Actually tons who works as caregivers and domestic helpers.
Never been better for guys just looking for a quick lay. Never been worse looking for a wife. If you think its not rigged against men here you must not know many guys who went through the divorce meat grinder.@@youngandfree93
Thinking a woman will solve all my problems? Uh...I've been planning on retiring abroad for years just because differences in currencies and cost of living mean I can retire earlier and more comfortably if I do it abroad. Being able to do it in a place with more traditional and more physically fit women is just a bonus. I'm not going to retire at ~42, move halfway around the world, and not plan on meeting new people where ever I go.@@36handy
My wife and I are a part of a Filipino community in Canada: in the summer, as many as 50 families gather for picnics in parks or by the lakeside. Some of the families are new immigrants, others have been here for over 40 year. Most of us are from the Philippines, but some are married to non-Filipino Canadians and Americans. Our children get to attend colleges and universities, including those who were born in the Philippines. Many of us get to visit our homes and relatives every few years. We also send money to our relatives and get to sponsor them to immigrate. Other than the usual challenges and tragedies (cancer, inflation, family issues, etc), life could not be better in Canada and America. I guess we are lucky, or in Christian terms, blessed. We hope many Canadians and Americans who read this humble note will give Canada and US a chance to live their dream life.
Yeah, the west has a totally different set of challenges for daily life or relationships. Other countries has a totally bag of challenges totally different due to culture change.
Hey Paul, I’m booking a ticket to Dumaguete soon, gonna try to see if I can make my budget last and try to live there. I’m 36, work online. been planning this for over a year. I’d love to take you out to dinner or coffee when I get there.
Paul, in my opinion when it comes to feminism women don’t want the responsibility or the bill when it comes to making a big decision. It’s so much easier to be the person who decides and then shift responsibility to others.
I agree with what Chad is talking about ,and from watching other You Tube vids guys pretty much say the same thing there just tired of all the bs in the states. Good interview and best of luck to you Chad.
Dating in the U.S. is Serial Daters Dating.! After a few dates it is so not ok. Example: 1000 men go thru the checkout counters and the young female cashiers are only interested in a date! Even when there is a rare long term relationship, they abort the babies.
Not sure if that's all true, but it can certainly feel as if there are 1000 men to every available (and decent) woman in the US. It does seem quite unbalanced, and it would be great if more in-depth studies on it were allowed. The west seems to deny or prohibit doing anything that would make positive changes on that level (for a certain people, and censor as well).
This is so timely. I commented earlier today on your video (on how you met you SO) about what guys in the age group of 35-45 are going through. He is so right about the mindset of women in the modern dating. Also, be careful of Asian women with this mindset "I am modern, yet I am traditional" - they are worse than feminists, they will choose as per their convenience.
Modern doesn't seem to mean anything good these days. Like a high-speed modern train ride into the fire. Maybe it means harder to deal with, materialistic and rejects natural order.
I am 40 in this age bracket it's totally fine dating wise. You just need to present yourself well and as long as you're tall and look healthy you'll always get hits anywhere. Like it or not modern is what it is now. Just deal with it.
@@youngandfree93 Your success is not my failure, mate. And you also don't know which specific region I am talking about. You also suggest being "tall", as if that is option for many guys. We get it you are "Chad Thunder Cock with Bling Bling Bang", but I was expressing a general situation.
@@youngandfree93 Yep, and that's why I'm moving to the Philippines. I'll deal with it by moving to a country where a man's height isn't such a major concern, plus, the women in the Philippines are, on average, about 4' 11" tall. So, I have a better chance of being "tall enough" for them compared to what American women are looking for.
Excellent Video/Interview Paul 😊. Chad is on point 💯 percent correct. American is going to 💩 in a hand basket for sure.

Truth
I’m visiting the US for the holidays and I can’t wait to get back to Asia :-)
This was a great interview
Hi @rickylee6129 Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Safe travels and good luck with your upcoming move!
Hi @midlifewanderings Love that story! Glad we could help with the retirement plans, see you soon in Dumaguete!
That's called simping.
We have commitments here in the UK but as soon as me and my fillipina wife save enough we are outta here.
I CONCUR 😊
I DOUBLE concur.
Political and the greedy, selfish, narcissistic American woman !!! I love the feminine aspect of the Filipinas

After much thought I think I might know the answer:
In the Philippines people here are naturally friendly and share whatever they have around friends.
Now which lifestyle do you prefer?
eat lots of fish
If you are a believer, then you must never forget that we are on Satan's turf and destined to suffer and be destroyed. I've come to wonder why mankind we're created in the first place? Did God feel the need to be worshiped, was he lonesome, why are you challenged to praise him and give your soul and being to him or be doomed to HELL? HOW IS THAT LOVE? I'm asking a legitimate question...
@@garylagera7584 God only exists if there is also the existence of humanity. If a tree falls in the forest an no one hears, it does not make a sound.

Hi @danielhackney7806 That's great to hear! We love seeing couples from different cultures thrive together. Good luck to your son and his partner!

The last time I dated in the US was in Indianapolis circa 18 to 20 years. I was in my 40s, and people were already saying I was too old. I did ok with dating there but my 2 most girlfriends there were divorced with kids. This can get complicated.
I started to go to the Philippines regularly 12 years ago and, to my surprise, there is now a name for it…passport bro.

My god, this comment was hilarious. 300 lbs., really? You probably really mean 200.

Chad provided direct and salient points Paul of why so many men in the West are looking elsewhere for relationships. Modern feminism in the West is the great tragedy of our time. It has managed to make almost everything toxic including most of Western women. Best wishes for Chad.
Hi @thepassman Thanks, Chad! We appreciate your insights.

Chad really has a great attitude. He will do well.
Hi @rodmasters9093 Thanks for appreciating Chad's positivity!

Hi @dealerdude We're glad to hear that our experience resonates with you! Political divisions can indeed be tiresome.
Yes, very much!!
Im heading to Cebu on December 3rd to try it out for a year!
Hi @douglassanford8857 Exciting! Enjoy your time in Cebu and we hope you find it's a great fit.
Very good interview.

Awesome Chad well said .
Hi @bareski22 Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Another interesting interview, Paul!
Hi @homebasebelgium359 Thanks for watching!
Paul... love your channel... but audio, drop some $$$ on a decent mic please!!! please!!! For everyone.
Hi @jerrystanley6820 Thanks for sharing your personal experience! We're glad you enjoyed the video.
Yes! Big fan of you both. Great video. See you guys in Duma:)
Hi @CarefreeChris Thanks for watching and supporting us, hope to see you soon in Dumaguete!
Great video 🙌🏻
Hi @Richierich2025 Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Good conversation.Thanks. ✝️😊
CHAD IS RIGHT ON ALL INFO
I’m watching your videos and enjoying them very much.
Do you have any expats that have moved to the Philippines with their Filipina wives from the States.
This is my situation and my wife doesn’t want to return to the Philippines. I want to retire there.
Hi @user-ju9ek3zr4d Yes, we have several expat couples on our channel who've made similar moves!
Great video Paul! Admire your nature sir!
Hi @offthecuffadventureswithjamie Thanks, appreciate it!
Paul, he will fit right in… great interview!
Hi @IanJames56 Thanks for watching and enjoying!
almost a 100K subs, Paul. Great for you.
Hi @patrickclark9156 Thanks so much! We're grateful for your support!
Good interview Paul. This guy has some really good insight and perspective of how it really here is.
Hi @todd7756 Thanks for watching!
Great Video!
Hi @louiegarcia4470 Thanks for watching and enjoying our video!
Hi @Danno_A_Jyd Appreciate your honest perspective! We're glad our content helps others make informed decisions about their moves abroad.
In downtown high priced "Yorkville."
Downsized to a rental studio apartment when Real Estate prices were (still are) ridiculously high.
Chad you look like a French Canadian???😊
Will have to visit your UA-cam site!!!l
Helloooo! Just wondering which bank you invested in and when? I’m a Filipina that moved here in Canada a little over a decade ago and people always advise against investing in banks due to low rates. Thank you
Hi @glenlynch1 Thanks for the support, glad you enjoyed the interview!
Chad...if I were single.and your age, I would be talking to Gerlyn...my God that girl is sweet, smart and absolutely adorable! Talk to, Mae!
I am close to his age too. He won't have any problems finding matches. Tinder and Bumble online solve that issue. Millions to choose from here.
Hi @deantucker1464 Thanks for the vote of confidence in Baby Mae!
i love this guys videos and i hate to be disagreeable but about the only thing that is mainly true is older guys and guys who didnt get nicer looking girls can do that in the philipines.i was thinking about all thast in my 20s and wrote quit a few ladies in the 90s.never made the move because i just didnt feel it.then i got on a chatting forum where it was with philipinos .we werent looking to find someone we were all just friends.i really learned a lot.for the most part those ladies have been modernized in thoughts and beliefs .the place itself may not be up to date but many of the thought processes and ideals can be the same.these ladies still want the top 10 percenter of guys like in the usa,the thing is u moving over there are the top 10 percenters, thats why u do so well over there, but u are still being used for the security u can provide .its not about u as a person.
Hi @shanehester5317 Thanks for sharing your perspective! We appreciate your honesty and thoughtful insights.
I Have a friend who is looking for a bf maybe life time partner .
Thinking a woman is going to solve all your problems. Yikes.
Hi @garcia4328 Thank you for sharing your story! It's wonderful to see Filipino communities thriving abroad.
I have been following Chad Fosters for long time. This guy is intelegent, interesting and pleasure to watch his informative videos, Good luck to him.
Hi @yigalgidasi5617 Thanks for the support! We appreciate it too.
Yeah, the west has a totally different set of challenges for daily life or relationships. Other countries has a totally bag of challenges totally different due to culture change.
you need to learn sacrifice in a relationship the more you love a person the more you are willng to sacrifice its part of a healthy relationship
Hi @danielburress6288 We believe sacrifice is crucial in any relationship, including ours. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
Lots of truth here!
Hi @woodly1069 Thanks for agreeing, it's a great place to retire!
Where do most expats hang out in Dumaguete, I am visiting Dumaguete for the next seven days
Hi @stevenrenfro9346 We're big fans of Brew House and Pigiin Cafe - great spots to meet fellow expats!
Hey Paul, I’m booking a ticket to Dumaguete soon, gonna try to see if I can make my budget last and try to live there. I’m 36, work online. been planning this for over a year. I’d love to take you out to dinner or coffee when I get there.
Hi @ThePhilippinePipeDream Thanks! We're stoked to have you in Dumaguete. Looking forward to meeting up and showing you around.
very good
Thanks
Paul, in my opinion when it comes to feminism women don’t want the responsibility or the bill when it comes to making a big decision. It’s so much easier to be the person who decides and then shift responsibility to others.
I agree with what Chad is talking about ,and from watching other You Tube vids guys pretty much say the same thing there just tired of all the bs in the states. Good interview and best of luck to you Chad.
Hi @Tim_281 Thanks for agreeing! We're glad to share our experience too. Good vibes only here!
The west seems to deny or prohibit doing anything that would make positive changes on that level (for a certain people, and censor as well).
what do you mean ?
@@delgrady8716 Free meal & drinks. No relationship desired.
Hi @Barefootape We've noticed that too, many Filipinas value meaningful relationships over casual dating.
People are dealing with it...they're going abroad lol. You sound like an angry 40 year old feminist.@@youngandfree93
