I've tried a number of products over the past year and I always come back to straight old creatine monohydrate- I've tried HCL and citrate, but at the end of the day I think the best product is a standard monohydrate, and I've personally seen the best results when it's a product that's creatine monohydrate combined with a bcaa and glutamine blend.
With so many marketing schemes out there, these videos are nice to break up all the mumbo jumbo. I appreciate you making this video as I was just looking into all the different types of creatine available.. I took some stuff called C.G.P. in high school and that stuff worked really well. I maxed my bench out at 300 (once)
Honestly, HCL does seem to be the most effective for me at reducing fatigue. I have used Kre-Alkalyn in the past and regular Monohydrate and Micronized Monohydrate. HCl does seem to provide the best pump as well.
Haha! Your unsure voice at the end "the button down here over here somewhere" is reminiscent of a banjo 😂. Thank you for this video. Punchy and to the point. I, personally, use creatine monohydrate. Thanks again for shedding more light on the tried and true stuff!
I've been watching your vids for a while and understand how many grams of protein and fat to eat. My question is how many grams of carbs per pound should I eat? Thanks
One way to know is to subtract protein + fat calories from your total calories goal, that would leave the remaining calories to carbs. However, I think Mike recommends to ingest lower levels of fat (about 35-38 grams) and split the rest in Protein (being the main focus) and carbs for energy. Hope it helps.
Yes, please! This is the first video I watch from this channel in a long time. I just can't stand 20 minute long videos. Or at least provide a text transcription with the key points..
Well this left me more confused than before I watched the video. Maybe a more accurate title would have been "The Critique and Downside of Every Type of Creatine"

Loved this video man. Too many schemes and lies in the supplement industry. It's great to see you shed some light on them.

Also curious about creatine HCI
No definitive research has shown it's more effective.
What about hydrochloride
keep your vids short, like this one. When see any vid over 15min I automatically leave. There is just no time for extended vids..

Just bc you don't like more in depth/longer videos, doesn't mean others don't. I enjoy both
Pls speak for yourself. Long videos are very welcome because its a huge source of info that sensei mike is sharing
Yeh because the whole world should be tailored to suit you.
Speak for yourself. you casual.
Take hcl pre workout.... monohydrate post....
Again, good stuff, Mike (your vid, not the creatin I mean)😄
