I'm guessing they didn't have a shot of him during the intro segment but wanted to show everybody as they took their solos so they spliced in a shot of him from another song. The camera wasn't on him so much that night overall, and this sort of thing is common on live rock dvds, using shots from other nights/songs when one is needed.
That's funny! Still like the Dolls and the Stooges. I think Iggy has more energy than David, last time I seen Iggy he was throwing monitors off the stage and that was a few years ago.
I disagree i sat down with an acoustic guitar and worked it out note for note, perhaps you're getting confused when he eses the F# to open E. It's quite easy to play and if he had any trouble remembering it cuz of the bat to his head I'm sure Syl would have helped him with every note.
Nothing compares to the chit chat with Diana Dors riff in the original. Also Johnny thunders shambolic solo was legendary. Sorry this version is pure karaoke.
Deja de hablar tonterias, tengo 60 años de los cuales llevo 45 escuchando a los New York dolls y dejame decirte que este baterista y guitarra son muy buenos... Claro los originales siempre seran mejores..
Love you all! Keep rocking Davey Jo!
Arthur Killer Kane on bass, wow - what a guy, RIP
Love the lyrics!
Heaven's fuckin' sake...what a great black drummer + new guitarist + David Johansen REALLY spits out the experience of his life...AMAZING !
The drummer is from the libertines
It's fantastic to hear a really pissed off Johansen. The new lyrics kick ass!!
Shout out to the drummer he’s in with the libertines

maybe on the intro but he is clearly playing E, G, A, and E open on the verses.
Yeah I thought so, the bass notes you hear in the intro aren't the one's he was playing. No mention of overdubs on the dvd?

Blame it on mom
Fuck that shit is bad. I half expect Johnny Thunders to fire a fuckin lightning bolt from the sky and knock Steve Conte off the stage.
