Love Warren and ratt! Ratt could have had 7 singles off their debut Out of the cellar! Lay it down ! What an iconic riff! Thanks for sharing buddy! God bless all the ratt n rollers ! Savior Jesus keep us safe always !
I met Warren on a few occasions, & he is a TRUE guitar geek! Love him. One of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered in (& out) of the music industry. Just saw Kings of Chaos (sans Warren) over Memorial Day Weekend. Great show! Orianthi is 🔥🔥🔥 ✌🏼
RATT really started rolling in 84 when I was 16 in highschool still one of my favorite bands of all time, Warren is a guitar god absolute LEGEND He will go down in history someday as one of the best to ever play guitar. WARREN TORCH DEMARTINI ABSOLUTE LEGEND....... Next to EDDIE, WARREN is my favorite guitarist of all time.
@@greatguitaristoftherockera2833 There are so many great ones, àllways love Warrens aggressive, crunchy, scratchy tone that he plays with attitude and emotion. Yes he is one of many greats but my personal favorite. Wish he would come out of retirement and get back out there it's in his blood. Peace.......... Great video on Warrens story.
I was re-listening to the detonator record, and was paying closer attention to all the sizzling solo work interweaving throughout songs. His lead work is just exquisite.
Crazy talented musician!! Saw Ratt in ‘85 at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Warren put on a guitar clinic that night. One of my absolute favorites of the 80’s shred guitar virtuosos.
Warren was a true prodigy. The thing that separated Ratt from the rest was their dual-axe attack played in perfect sync, or with one on acoustic and another on lead guitar. Their guitars were instantly known, no matter the song back then. King Crosby did a good job keeping up with Warren when needed, until his health declined. I really miss those days.
Warren will always be one of my favorites. I can honestly say in my top 3. I first heard of RATT through record store talk in Ft. Wayne, The Wooden Knickel. It was back in either 83 or 84. I flew to El Paso to see a friend. RATT was playing at a club called the APPLE. After seeing him play live, I was blown away and have been a fan ever since. I can play RATT songs but I have never been able to play like him... lol. You can have a group of guys play the same song through the same gear and not have them sound alike... You can pick Warren's chops out blind folded :)

I had the pleasure of seeing RATT at the old Capitol Center in Landover MD. Poison opened and CC Deville definitely played a great show, he was the king of arpeggios for sure. Warren D came out and played exactly what I needed to hear and how the guitar is meant to be played.
Detonator was a great album! It had a slightly different "feel" than their previous albums, especially Reach for the Sky. I did enjoy Reach for the Sky but, (IMO) most of it didn't have that melodic and harmonic flow that really set RATT apart from others. I've been a RATT fan since I was 14, have every cassette/CD they recorded and will ALWAYS love me some RATT-N-ROLL!
Back for more and the solo is awesome....its an art.... its old school just like you dont throw away an artist piece or work...people dont play like this in new music... they dont shred that way anymore ... But thats Warrens style of roll with his fingers i like it better than Van Halens style notice Warren keeps it tight while Eddie VHs is more loose all over the place..both great but i just preffer Warrens style
Next to EDDIE, WARREN TORCH DEMARTINI is my favorite guitarist of all time, Warren is an ABSOLUTE LEGEND. R.I.P. EDDIE THE MOST EXPLOSIVE GUITARIST IN HISTORY......................
i maed a similar comment but wouldnt say it that way..LOL Eddie was great in bringing that style to the front of guitar playing so that deserves alot of credit...Going beyond Hendrix blues and stuff.....But i do like Warrens tight legato style speed runs more...

The Very best guitar player ever.
WARREN TORCH DEMARTINI ABSOLUTE LEGEND........
Absolutely 💯%
Warren's piercing hot sound/Gain on his pick-ups reminds me of the sound Ace Frehley could get.

The song The Morning After from Out of The Cellar is my favorite. The solo on that song is killer as well.

Favourite guitarist of the eighties with Lynch
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Lynch used to be one of my favs.. Hes just not very consistent as Warren..

Criminally underrated!!

Yeah some times you need to listen a little more critically to hear how good some of the guitar work is. Thanks for the comment.
Can't wait on love!! Warren shreds through most of the song!!
He shredded on Back for More.
Yes he did
WARREN TORCH DEMARTINI ABSOLUTE LEGEND, shredded on EVERYTHING he did.

Frontier City in Oklahoma, maybe 50 people watching the show.
Loved the band every since then.

I caught a guitar pick from Warren at Hartfords Webster theater. I always thought he was an awesome guitarist.

He can rip for sure. Great style.
Thanks for the comment.
Nice job, very well done documentary!
Thank you. I’m glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
How do you not talk about Charvel? Big part of his sound.
Do you think he would have played/ sounded different if he played a different brand?
Warren also played performance instruments and various other brands. But, Charvel was his early tone.
I think if he played a Stratocaster or a Les Paul he would have sounded like Warren.
Great channel! I’ve watched a couple videos & I appreciate that you just gave me the info I want & keep it short so my ADD brain doesn’t wander
Glad you like it. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
You really got to crank it up at the end of some of the songs you can hear him shredding!🤘🏻😎 got a cool name too!
Yeah a lot of great playing on the fade out of songs.

well Eddie must a been great if we talking about him on a video on Warren DeMartini...LOL thats saying something...
If you ask me Steve Vai or Warren D… I say WD

Ratt the most dysfunctional band from the 80’s .
Yeah I don’t think any of them got along with any of the others.
