I am not interested in music stream - my '13 Mercedes S550 doesn't have the puck adapter in the console. But I do have an MMI plug in the glove box. Could I plug this in there and then would the bluetooth system work for phone calls? Anyone know?
I am not familiar with this unit on Mercedes, but on my Android phone, I hook up to the built in Bluetooth when works for calls only, and this Bluetooth unit for music

The cable in my glove box doesn’t have this pin it has a lead with a usb? I’ve tried attaching my phone with this but it won’t play music? Can anyone help? I have an Audi TT roadster 2014.
I'm also trying to find the location off the MMI interface. Any luck finding it yet? I noticed in the video it looks like the cable runs into the disk changer. I haven't had a chance to look yet.
This might be a silly question, but I just purchased an 2009 Audi A4. I was wondering if when you sync the Bluetooth to your phone, do you have to change the songs from the Audi control screen or can you just change the songs from your phone?
You have to change it on your phone. This tricks the radio into thinking there is an endless stream of audio. Whatever media you play on the phone will play. There is no controlling it from the wheel controls.

Does it display song name from Spotify on Mercedes? And do the steering controls work with Spotify?
No. With this it just sends all music output as a stream from your phone to the unit. Think of it as an endless track.
On my Audi if its connected with iphone it shows the song name, but not with android!
Can you skip songs or chose a playlist?
Does it take awhile for it to connect at times? I have the exact same one for my 09 Infiniti g37x and sometimes it takes a couple of minutes to start streaming music.

Would you know if it would work on a Dodge Charger? It doesn’t have a integrated 30 pin but it has a iPod integration with any iPhone cable
Only plugs into a 30 pin iPod adapter.
How can you adjust the blue only for music and phone calls on an iPhone
I'm not sure iPhones have that capability. Sorry, I don't have an iPhone to test it.

You are unable to view any audio data on the MMI screen. Album and song Titles do NOT appear. Even when updating the MMI to current programs audio data does NOT appear. Instead Prev and Next are all that appear.

@@rodrigg1992 I have not tried with an iPhone. Perhaps the album, and song titles would appear with an Apple product. This BoVee plugin seems to be the best option for adapting bluetooth for audio. The only drawback when having an Android device is a lack of visuals. I'm sure it's great for iPhones.

Yes you can. If you connect it with iphone its shows on the car display which music you playing, which doesn't if you connect it with an android phone.I dont know yet why!

I got it off amazon and looked around to see if it would work for my car before purchasing. I checked the reviews and saw that some one had the same car as me and claimed it worked fine for them. For that reason I bought it but it’s not working. I’m trying to use it for my 2008 Audi TT. It’s very annoying trying to find help with this because there is nothing about using it on my specific car. So if you guys have any suggestions let me know.

Cars & Tech by JDM City Hmmm well... my car has FM, AM, SAT and CD. The 30 pin port is located in the glove compartment. It’s not a cable like in your video, just a 30 pin port in the back of the small area where the iPod goes. I plugged the Coolstream CarPro in there, I switch to the “CD” setting and go to CD 12. On the screen it displays Track 1 but nothing plays. I have a iPhone 6s with the latest update and everything. The CarPro connects fine to my phone. It even says that the music is “playing” on the screen of my phone while connected to the CarPro Bluetooth but you can’t hear anything coming from the car. I put the volume up 100% on my phone and nothing. On the car the volume is locked at around 20% though and you can’t put it up or down.
@@DRAC04U you have the older AMI right? Not the one I have? If so, you might need to use the other cheaper Bluetooth adapter that requires it to be powered.

@@DRAC04U I really don't know either. I do know that I tried a cheaper one before this one and that didn't work for my car. I think that was meant for older units.

yeah. Any audio that would play from your phone would pass to the radio.
That’s too damn expensive for some music.
