What an intense story. This is the reality for many men who lose their hair, it can be quite a challenge. That there is a channel like Harry's is something very necessary in the world
It's crazy that the guys who are loosing hair and are apprehensive about shaving their heads look better without hair rather than having a full head of hair.
This is the video that changed my life and made me buzz my hair. Every word this guy said is what I was going through. From covering it up to not doing certain things that would ruin the comb over.
One who didn’t went through that process of losing their hair can not understand what we are going through. The amount of insecurities, anxiety, and even depression is huge. Daily life becomes a huge struggle and at one point maybe even impossible. I’m glad that at one point I pulled the trigger and shaved my head. Calling it a game changer is an understatement.
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart .and finding your channel at the time i was struggling with hair loss at a young age (19) made me have so much anxiety and selfhate to the point that i avoided gatherings and stayed at my room qll the time . but today i said no more of this hiding and shaved it all off and i was surprised by how good it felt and i massaged my friends about it and most of them said it looks good or they didn't care . i cant thank you enough man finding your channel helped me more than anything ♥️ and I'll be following your grooming tips to get the best resaualts thank u man
And truly from the bottom of my heart having been there myself it is my absolute pleasure to have helped you on your journey to uncover the courage and confidence that was there just waiting to be found 🙏 wish you the very best going forward brother.
This channel is so important. I’m a woman and I really did not realise how difficult hair loss is for many men. Probably most. I don’t know what Tom means about the fibres. Can someone explain that a bit to me? Thanks
I got to 30 without anyone noticing my hair loss but I was thinning for maybe 7-8 years. Barber finally made a joke I was gonna have to shave it soon and I became obsessed. 2 mirrors, photos, would only watch myself on facetime etc. I then shaved my head because I’d changed jobs and realised no one would know me with hair anyway. I felt so much better instantly and it came as a shock to my family, however, most agree I look the same but just without hair 😅. My 2 year old didn’t say anything for a week! I wasted years worrying and wish I’d been braver at 25 and taken the plunge to avoid all the worry. If you’re at all worried shave your head. Accept your head shape, accept the worst case scenario, it will most likely grow back for a while and you won’t fear baldness anymore. Thank you baldcafe
I think hairloss is a process of grief. I think one grieves for the person they were. Accepting that person has gone and moving ahead is a hard thing to do
Looks so much better, so suits you. Since going from a 2---1---0---skull shaver and on Wednesday using a razor for the first time absolutely love it and actually got addicted to being bald, loving the shine on the head using Harry's tips. Smile to myself when I see the reflection of lights on my head.
this prbly goes down as one of the best interviews. Been bald for a couple years now and its not an easy thing to come to terms with. Tom's a good lad, hope he's living his life and doin his thing.
Tumblr has hundreds of great photos of men who have shaved their heads due to ongoing hair loss. The guys are happy with their new look and look terrific.
I know everyone struggles with the hair loss phase but this bloke was lucky to have a girlfriend, trying dealing with it when you have been single for many years.
It's amazing how many of these guys have wives and girlfriends who love them and don't seem to care about their hair and yet they're still so affected by going bald. I mean I know it still sucks but as a single dude with a full head of hair, count your blessings fellas.
Where does everyone send their videos and everything or does he find em? Been watching for a couple days and finally decided to go through with it tomorrow(I work out in the sun and want a weekend to get some sun on it) after dealing with it for 7 years. But love this channel and the videos and if anyone can send em I’d love to!
Please do mate, feel free to film your moment of taking the leap and then get in touch via email below. Baldcafe (at) outlook (dot) com 👍 we can chat there. Enjoy it!
Tom lucky escape from hair systems in Germany mate. I did them for 3-4 years and you’re just replacing one self concern for another. Problems with colouring, glue, and costs. I finally got rid of it earlier this year and now shave my head too. Hair systems come with tons of issues and worries. I feel way more confident now with a shaved head than I ever did with hair system. And I feel WAY MORE free. Stuff like swimming and sunshine is not easy with hair systems either.
Mate - if you read this, I would say there's something harder for guys who don't have other males in their family with balding. It makes it a slightly more bitter pill to swallow, so recognise this and give your self an additional pat on the back for this 👌
Wow man. He said his dad and brothers all had full thick hair. That must feel so unfair. The same thing happened with my father. His dad died with a full head of thick gray hair, but my father and most of his brothers are totally bald. He only has one sibling who got to keep his hair into his old age, but even he was eventually struck with the bald gene. I personally haven't had any genetic pattern hairloss, and I'm well into my 30's now, but I have a ton of hairloss from injuries to the scalp, and it sucks a lot. I even had a barber wipe out a ton of hair to one side of my head because he used an old set of clippers that pulled instead of cut. I thought I'd been saved from the baldness visiting me, and fate just gave me a big old nope.
@@PrinterJamOnToast while reading your comment I looked at the shelve where the pic of my grandpa is who looked with a smug face at me. It was a pic taken when my mother was still young and he already had a receeded hairline back then in his late 20s.
I’m 23 and have a bad receding hairline and don’t know what to do with it anymore, I can’t grow a beard and I work in the public so I’m to scared to shave it off just in case it looks bad or people make comments on it as the people I see every day know me so may make comments. It’s got to the point now I haven’t posted a picture of myself without a hat on for 2yrs now or unless I’ve managed to hide it a bit in the photo and think my face looks to young to have a shaven head as well and I think I have a mole or two on the top of my head as well which is a worry as well for if I do shave it
It's not just one particular thing that makes you look old (like gray hair). I remember going through Army basic training, and nobody looked older because of the lack of hair. Just go for it, and shave it. If you don't like it, just grow it back.
Both good feedback below. I would add that if you really think about it you have equal evidence that it could also turn out looking much better than you though, nobody says anything because your hair has no impact on their own lives and you can get back to living life not controlled in any way by you hair and self worth that is attached to it 👍
@Roger Spacebucks From my observations, the things that makes you looks younger/older is primarly gardrobe, skincare and how fit you are. There are two men in my family, one is like 63 and the second around 53. I would anytime say that the first one is younger - even that he is bald and the second one no, he even have black hair. But the younger man is so oldfashioned, both mentally and in style, also stoop-shouldered.
Either shave it or buzz it down to a low level and see how you like it. Even it's buzzed to a very low level and people can tell you are balding it still looks good because it says you have accepted it and you don't care.
my father in law did the same to me at Christmas over the table and said I got a monkeys bum coming on top, I could have died that day with embassrment, also thought this bloke looks a spit of ex Leeds United player Danny mills
Imagine a UA-cam where we don't have advertisers hiding behind generic screen names trying to degrade men so they can pimp their products. Baldness is more determined by your mother's side. If your mother's father is bald then there is about a 70% chance that you will be too.
