I get that on your channel you want to talk about other things to make it seem like you are enjoying life from other angles but trust me if your anything like me you are always researching video-games and collectibles no matter where you are thru your phone which is cool for you but the reality is you are completely consumed by video-games i can tell by your vids and that is ok. Maybe these videos and topics help you and i am there myself.
I think you shouldn’t let peoples comments affect you, who cares if they call you a fake gamer. At the same time I don’t think you should assume that people aren’t building and maintaining their relationships or working on themselves. In my opinion that’s usually the comeback when someone strikes a nerve it’s “whataboutism”. Your a father a successful man and you have other priorities then playing video games and if people don’t like that so what they can kick rocks. Sorry I just sympathize with being a father and yeah that definitely has taken me away from video games but I enjoy spending time with my new baby or goofing around with my big kids/teens games will always be there when I need them our babies will only be babies for a little while. I enjoy the content brother keep up the vids I listen daily.
Guess I'm a fake gamer, too, lol. I have 2 kids, so i don't have a ton of time to play games. most of the games I do play are family/children games like just dance with my daughter or minecraft with my son. If I have to be a "fake gamer" to be a better dad, then so be it.
