This man is the very thing that is missing on country music radio!!!!!!! Country music should take you on a emotional journey to a person and place in time of your life. I am filling in on night shift working at Michelin making tires for a living here in South Carolina. I discovered his music tonight, in between service calls I am listening to his music catalog. He has taken me back emotionally to my time in the military in Iraq. He has made me think about my momma who has passed on in 2014 and many other things. I needed to be reminded of just how far down this road I have come from the young boy with a m16 in Iraq. I don’t think I would change much other than bringing my brothers back with me who never made it home from war and I wish I would of gave my mother more of if my time in my 20s. If your mom and dad are alive pick up the phone when they call because you will miss them so much when they go to glory. I am not sure Elvie will ever read this message but if by chance he does I want to thank him for taking me back to memories gone by. He has a new fan here in the upstate of South Carolina.
