Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 сер 2024
- This is a Procreate app layer mask tutorial that explains what is a layer mask and how to use masks in Procreate. This works pretty similarly in other software like Photoshop, Photopea and more.

So you you The Mask to mask The Mask, add a cat mask, a clipping mask and a regular mask on top of it? That’s some super meta tutorial stuff 😂😎 and it works on so many levels (or layers if you want to continue the meta theme here 🥳😊🤟). Enjoyed it. Thanks

This was perfect, I was laughing out loud. I feel like it’s mask inception. Masks in masks.
Love your sense of humor. I’m a very beginning beginner and don’t know when I’ll use this, but your demo is instructive. Thanks.
this was the best and most fun demonstration I've seen about masks! Loved it!
Thanks! As basically a beginner, although I’ve been using procreate for about 3 yrs now, I’ve never understood masking!
This video:
Vast majority: Funny and informative
Around 6m40s: Oh god! My brain is melting trying to keep up with what mask is what!
A few seconds later: AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Great video!
😄
i cant rbeaht this is the funniest tutorial i have ever seen. will never forget how to use masks now
i like that you are from iceland and the music was good and mask inception was amusing :)
Great explanation. Thanks. White Snows? For White Shows. That's my reminder. I learned about masks by just messing around pretty much as you did.
White snows 👍😃 Great idea
This was really helpful and really entertaining, just found your channel and now I’m subscribed! thanks for your content. :)
Excellent as always. Thank you for sharing your gift of teaching with humour.
Your voice makes the content that much more interesting I love the videos!
I could listen to this guys voice for hours. Great tutorial!
Amazing! So much application for this, specially for product design and marketing. You helped me broaden my perspective, looking forward for more tutorials 🙏🏻
Loved this! Thanks for your help! And I was laughing so hard at this! So made my day!!!! Thanks!!!!
Thank you for this usefull and funny tutorial !!! Had a great time 🤣
You are a great teacher. Fantastic, thank you
Absolutely cracking up on this!
Crazy entertaining! Think I will need to watch a few (dozen) more times but good info🙄
You are so funny 😄 Loved the video!
What a hidden gem of a tutorial.
Reveals cat mouth, instantly subscribes 🤗
Rotfl man, you made my day! (and thanks a lot for the "black eyed peas" hint!!!)
Crazy and helpful
The Mask Bit, in the beginning, earned you a sub.
I love your editing ☺️
Also: just realized You’re from island that’s so cool dude
thankyou! x
Cool
You made me laugh so hard, I was actually shaking the floor and woke our old deaf dog! That was the most fun “mask” tutorial I’ve ever watched. And you better belated I clicked that subscribe button.
Very well explained with a good (fun) example. Using masks that way is a round about way of using a Magic Eraser in Photoshop. I wish they had a Magic Eraser in Procreate except layer masks are less destructive.
Great video about mask on mask on mask. Nice humor too. I was wondering if you could help with cmyk profile options in procreate. What are they for and what is the best option for DTG printing? Thank you.
xDD awesome video!!
Hello good night, I hope you are very well. excellent tutorial, I follow you. regards 👍🏻
Afro Ninja approved 🥷🏾🤙🏾
This was crazy! We are native French and my son kept laughing at how much you said mask! I don’t know if I got it but I had fun.
Excellent!
A mask on a mask on the Mask 😂
I like the intro. Lol
Mask mask mask….this is really fun for dyslexic people.
Interesting but a little confusion at times because of the use of the word mask of a mask of a mask... Sorry I'm a beginner
One that was so good but I'm so confused lol
you do move a bit to fast, so we cant always see what you are choosing. I am having a problems, when i click on the white of the mask, my whole screen goes blue, not the cut out black mask, please tell me what i am doing wrong
How can I mask 2 layers at once wherever the pixels overlap?
This is the most confusing tutorial for what is already a very confusing topic. I would suggest you use an image that has no name called mask. When you are describing your procedure and commenting one never knows witch mask you are referring to. It would nice if UA-cam adds a feature permitting to slowdown the video for complicated topics or features. I am going to watch again. I am an artist: I use digital tools to prepare paintings that I will transfer to canvas once I get what I want. In the digital process I merge several real and abstract images. what I am looking for in masks is the ability to control what part of bottom image I want to merge to the proposed work. I have achieved this fairly well in PS but would to use the bushes set in procreate to terminate the work. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for the time you impart to my issue. Kindest regards emile michel
I agree 100%.
Great content stay blessed and stay connected with me I support you and you
I’m very confused 😄
"We need a mask mask on the mask". Clear, thank you!
I have no clue what mask is which
🤯
omg I'm second 😭
😂👍
Not gonna lie this was so confusing to understand for someone who doesn’t understand how masking works because of the mask character being referred to as mask as well. 😭
The fact nobody noticed that he’s at REYKJAVÍK
Funny vid but it gets too confusing for a total beginner. I’m trying to figure out masks (ok, ok, Procreate in general) and this went too fast.
Ditto.
Your jokes are really bad but they still made me chuckle ☺️
I wish you wouldn’t crop tiny parts of the video, as someone brand new to this every single move counts because we can loose you in a second
😅👏👍
Very confusing - when you forgot to do something and correct it I got lost.
I've never been more confused.
How'd this get any thumbs down!!!!?
Put the mask on the mask of the mask 😂
Too many masks to get my newbie head around How to Mask 🤣😯
So confusing the word "mask" but the processing is ok 🤣
Im getting confused when you're referring to the mask techniques and actual masks.
Your tutorials are good! Actually there excellent! But please, stop with the jokes
You lost me at 3:35. I did everything you did but the moment I touch my screen the whole thing turns light blue.
so did mine, did you resolve it
Funny
😱😂😱🤣😱😂😱🤣😱🤣😱🤣🙏🏻
W...What?
m a s k
Confusing AF
Although humorous, this video moved too quickly to communicate the complicated details effectively.
I m so confused . Too many masks
Confusing only for bad jokes
😂😂😂
Hilarious….
To irritating and confusing
You made this much harder for a beginner with the use of masks to mask with. Not good teaching. Sorry for the negative feedback, but this wasted my time.
Agree
This tutorial was what I was looking for to speed up my work process by implementing the use of mask. However, getting through your inane word play on the word mask was very irritating to tolerate, and was a bit distracting to keep track of where you were at times on which mask and the use of the masking tool. You must have been bored and thought it would be cute and entertaining. Well, at least you found pleasure from it. Thanks for the info, but not the schtick. However, the final cat mouth through the layers of masks at the end of the video was funny..
this was a pretty bad tutorial to be honest
went way too quick and didn’t really explain anything other than the obvious
That intro was so uncomfortable to watch
but overall great tutorial
