As a Dutch guy, Drew's pronounciation of the Dutch "ij" hurt my soul. I will not be able to recover from this.
He is a native English speaker. Which means he speaks a language in which there is no logical connection between phonemes and letters at all. It is pretty much a Wheel of Fortune spin every time they try to pronounce any written letter. So when they encounter a different language that actually HAS some rules, hilarity ensues.

As a person who fell out of a window after hearing this. I can confirm that it is indeed terrifying for every person who speaks Dutch.
