What worse and more terrifying way to lose a game than to have an enemy have their cards in YOUR deck and trigger them whenever they make you draw them or after destroying your deck. It's like facing a tidal force of evil intentions.

Idk about a full-on jumpscare, but I'd like for better SFX at the end of it for more impact. Animation is great, sound design is kinda meh. It needs more impact.
It's like I can see the exact moment when the budget ran out. They got a spooky pop cinematic for the release of a highly requested champion and then the spotlight is super quick with no supporting cards. It's like they got through making Fiddlesticks for the game through the usual process and then the plug got pulled. Cool card though. Would have loved to see his intended PvP package.
He doesn't have rarity, I think he is PoC exclusive, because LOR have not enough staff to focused on both PVP and PVE, they have to focus only one mode
Guys, he has 4 keys now. That means another demon lord was released and that he's growing stronger now. His original design had one, his rework gave him three, and now this one has him at FOUR. First of 10, end of men, he's getting closer
The beginning is good but the end is very weak, he’s very slow and non impactful. he was way faster in the other trailer. Perhaps keep the part where he disappears behind the pillar, but have him rip out the viewer’s footing really fast as he comes out from behind and pounces on them as they fall with a fast and impact heavy ending with the final sound a scream exiting off in crow fx. Be even cooler if his activation changed the board music to be like that in the trailer.
Riot PLEASE give Fiddlesticks an origin and put them in PvP. I've been waiting for Fiddle for so long and they look so fun to play! I wanna play them on PvP!
they only put him in PoC so you can only get him if you have enough wild fragments or if youre lucky this is dissapointing now i have to wait to get enough fragments to try him out
I told my self at the beginning of the year the only thing that would get me back into this game is them adding fiddlesticks, and lo and behold HES HERE BABY
I can see why this isn't coming to PvP. Fiddle is planted "deep" in the deck. So he would be within the last 15 cards of the enemy deck. Unless the enemy is playing a draw happy deck, he is unplayable. You would think that he would counter deep decks, but Toss obliterates the bottom cards of your deck, potentially getting rid of fiddle, making deep an actual counter to fiddle. Though he is a good counter to Sunken temple, Nilah, and TF decks. His support cards may help though, but without a real active way to speed up getting fiddle, it's hard to say.
Its just bad game design. There is no reason he had to be exactly like he is. It just shows they don't care at all about pvp anymore and have taken any competent person off the LoR team so they can do something else.
Actually toss doesn't obliterate champion type cards, the system chooses other card instead. But it would obliterate the other cards with that type of gameplay tbh
I mean, they said months ago that a lot of new champions they make will either have their design focused on path mechanics or play patterns that would just not be fun in PvP. Idk what you were expecting.

That being said, it doesn't matter, the fiddlesticks trap literally says "When drawn or obliterated" Edit : I guess I misread, that's just "Terrify"'s text, not fiddle's.
Honestly, they can put these Fiddle Cards in PvP, but they would have to put a Limitation like Bard, so that the Opponent doesn't draw a Card and Summon Fiddle to You on Turn 1.
The wording of the card is “plant me as a nightmare deep in the enemy deck” so chances I think it is impossible to draw him turn 1 (without extreme mill/draw shenanigans).
The problem of why he couldnt be put in pvp is because it would mean make card about destroying your opponent deck or make him draw with malus and even more that would mean that all your opponent draw card became useless because of the risk of just fill completely your board with nighmares

@@titouanmercier6820 Well, we have Maokai who already does this idea, you could say that Nab does too, besides Teemo and Cait in making the Opponent draw several Cards. I don't think it would be that much to fill the Board, because Fidd will start in the deck and there can only be 1 of him on the board, the other two cards with this effect are a 1/1 that when it dies places the 6/3 (if it were 6/2, I think it would be easier to deal with and kill) and there is the Baleful Seeker, which could be Print the Nightmares, but it doesn't seem like he would stay alive long enough to make several. Besides, we went through the whole Norra Portal party, creating any random thing, it was hard but we survived, the Nightmares are easier to deal with, since we know which Cards can appear, at least for me I would prefer to face several Fidd decks than Norra

I mean this shouldn't come as a surprise. They've already said that PvP is no longer supported. And PvE will be all their focus. So you should simply expect that all content updates will be strictly for PvE.

personal opinion the good: I have loved how Fiddlesticks has been implemented into the game, its mechanics have been quite fun to play and the other expansions I have found quite refreshing for the path of champions and the work that has been going on I feel is satisfying to have great variety. to improve: I feel sorry for not being able to see how this and other champions would play out in pvp as they would make for some pretty interesting games, I wish the Fiddlesticks expansion cards also had their text to see the illustration like the rest of the cards and I feel it could use a difficult adventure where you can get gold reliquary as there is almost no way to get it if not in store. I have been with the game since its release and have seen all the changes to date, thank you very much for making this my favorite game.🤭
The screens showing the cards went by kinda quickly... I know you can pause and look, but slowing it down just a bit would be great. Glad to see Fiddlesticks, though! Looks awesome.
Am I the ony one who feels like they are letting pvp die? Previously we had big releases with 3 champions at the same time, constant balance changes and a lot of love for competitive, now they only give us a rotation hoping that it will improve the meta, the worst thing is that now they release champions only for PoC, I recognize that currently there are more champions in PoC, but that is because PvP is rotten... it feels like a spit in the face

This is similar to a fan concept where Fiddlesticks created traps with the Terror curse effect. And I like it. Apparently he will be the champion of Runeterra that I will finally invest resources into.
At certain level that "finally" is the devs saying "well here it is, stop asking", on a meta level that is the VA of Fiddle voicing the community opinion of Fiddle's arrival on LoR... on a deeper meta level... this is fiddle himself saying that it can finally spread its fear in a new game
I always thought that if fiddles released it would be different like when placed there would be 2 followers that has stat 0-1 and disguised as fiddles so you have to guess which one hits
please sell card packs and do a pvp battle pass like hearthstone or magic. This is the best choice for you and us to have pvp instead of neglecting part of the LoR community
Very well implemented however level up animation was kinda weak. Great build up but weak ending, along with a very smooth sprite, where i feel he should be more jagged and spikey like he usually is with his metal parts and blades sticking out. fiddle looks far too "animated" (i think thats the word?).
I'm sorry but the implementation just feels.... half assed. No voice lines, no flavor text, PVE exclusive, lack of unique animations, lame level up.... We waited this long for one of the coolest champions in league just for them to make it mid.
I also hate that Fiddle is one of those highly requested one only to be PoC and overall feeling unfinished. Not to mention how it seems that Fiddle deck doesn't look that difficult to balance for PvP by toning down Terrify effects to a degree.
Hear me out. Make Terrify place the cards at the bottom of the deck instead of obliterating them and let "deep in the enemy deck" be everything after the top ~10 cards and ship it to pvp (+ support cards with Nightmare/Terrify which are probably already in his PoC deck)
It's good to have Fiddlesticks in LoR, but...its dissapointing that is only him and the oddysey of Nilah doesn't continue with fighting Fiddle and adding Sona too (by their interactions in LoL).

My favorite moment in Path of Champions was when Fiddlesticks said “IT’S FIDDLIN TIME” and fiddled the enemy's sticks till they gloomed.
And i imagined this phrase while fast moving with the old fiddlesticks model in LoL

Very well implemented however level up animation was kinda weak. Great build up but weak ending, along with a very smooth sprite, where i feel he should be more jagged and spikey like he usually is with his metal parts and blades sticking out. fiddle looks far too "animated" (i think thats the word?).
I took a closer look at the animation and im pretty sure its using the league model

I'm sorry but the implementation just feels.... half assed.
No voice lines, no flavor text, PVE exclusive, lack of unique animations, lame level up....
We waited this long for one of the coolest champions in league just for them to make it mid.
I also hate that Fiddle is one of those highly requested one only to be PoC and overall feeling unfinished.
Not to mention how it seems that Fiddle deck doesn't look that difficult to balance for PvP by toning down Terrify effects to a degree.
This guy will come to PVP right? RIGHT!?

Hear me out. Make Terrify place the cards at the bottom of the deck instead of obliterating them and let "deep in the enemy deck" be everything after the top ~10 cards and ship it to pvp (+ support cards with Nightmare/Terrify which are probably already in his PoC deck)

It's good to have Fiddlesticks in LoR, but...its dissapointing that is only him and the oddysey of Nilah doesn't continue with fighting Fiddle and adding Sona too (by their interactions in LoL).

the fiddle in the lvl up animations looks somewhat like two potatoes stuck together XD. i feel like the mouth should have been more in focus, i can only concertrate on the forehead when he charges
