(Like you know) Njoku you're really good and your product is awesome. Let's hope (like you know) the new Blockchain Policy will make things (like you know) easy for Tech development in Nigeria and Africa. (Like you know) we're expecting you back in a better shape and form
Key lessons from Njoku Emmanuel's experience: 1. Prioritize business development alongside product development for sustainable growth. 2. Integrate business operations closely with the product team to align goals effectively. 3. Carefully manage team size and scalability to optimize operational costs. 4. Maintain transparency and open communication with investors and team members for organizational stability. 5. Stay focused on long-term goals and financial planning to navigate challenges effectively.
The takeaways here is that they didn’t focus quite early on the business side of things and regulations affected them so much the from scaling(onboarding new businesses) This affected there valuation which really affected so much when it was time to raise in a crypto market that was already looking bad.
21:00 not even gon lie, the issue of regulation is actually a big issue here in Nigeria, and it doesn't end in the government bodies making decisions for us, even down to the average adult here, anything "online" is approached with loads of skepticism and i get they are trying to protect us from harm, fraud etc but in most cases they are so ignorant that they don't know what they are protecting us from and that ignorance is what is stopping them from helping us reach our full potential
Wow, listening to Njoku Emmanuel share an honest account of the challenges faced by Lazerpay is genuinely insightful. I admire his transparency and determination to keep building solutions. Learning from failure and pushing forward takes real guts. Mad respect to him for staying honest and dedicated through it all. 🫡
“A good product without a good business model is bad business” was the highlight for me. Thank you Njoku

he says "Like you know" 1,000,000,000 times in this video Lol
It's the editor's fault, they could have removed them. I usually remove these when I interview folks
Even CapCut would’ve edited it out so easily 🥲

This was so well said, Njoku. Well done!
I would be happy to chat to you over beer some day; like, you know, I feel like we have the same spirit.
