@@MisterUrbanWorld I don't really have over heating issues , I have had the warning but that depends on how hot it was and what I was doing at the time.
I do - generally with the brightness of my screen or when auto brightness is on and set to the highest setting due to how bright it is outside. It gets ridiculously hot. Potentially this may be the last time I buy a Pixel device.

I am on a 6 pro, coming from a S21 Ultra. Only reason im not with samsung rn is due to an issue with my phone's IMEI being all 0s, so i swapped to pixel 6 pro, and may stick with the 6 pro.

I never used a screen guard or cover the entire time, dropped it several times 😕 but as good as new.

Direct my call enables you to navigate to let's say your business call when they give you options. Press 1 for English press 2 for Spanish, what other features like if you want to speak with a representative press 5. Go back to the main menu press 6. So it actually gives you a transcript on the phone of what is being said with the options of what to press. Just in case you miss it verbally

@@rajanajudiya1387 You will like the device. I live in the UK and even though we have 5G coverage, I have turned it off as 5G is still in its infancy and not fully optimised. The Modem in the 6 Pro is not the greatest. However when I used 5G it would drain battery and occasionally the processor would get hot. However ever since I turned it off, no battery drain or processor getting hot. Also it runs where I am better on 4G than 5G. Hope this information helps...👍🏽

It's March 26th 2024 at the time of me watching this and I still have my pixel 6 pro but unfortunately the screen is cracked and it's going to cost you more to fix the phone than what it's worth

I have a pixel 8 not the pixel 8 pro and I don't notice much of a difference besides the lack of a quad HD display and the zoom lens. The lack of ram in this phone isn't really much of an issue compared to the pro
@@shawncypret6838 I have both the pixel 8 and the pixel 8 Pro and I absolutely love the size of the pixel 8. There isn't much of a difference aside from what you said the zoom and maybe some AI features that are available for the pixel 8 Pro but not a deal breaker in my opinion

@@muhammadaminu6585 yes initially it did get very very hot, I've kept setting like refresh rate and screen resolution low now I don't feel tht much Heating i think after update it's reduced to larger extent

Signal issues Google replaced it and still the same 😢. Google admitted it was a well known issue with the 6 pro and the 7. I put my sim card into my old pixel 3xl no signal issues.

Im using an iPhone 12 and considering getting a Pixel 6 Pro. I’m not sure if this is a good choice, but I really like the camera and screen so far, though not the performance. Any suggestions?
I never like recommending one phone over another so it's hard for me to say the pixel 6 Pro is a great phone. Battery is probably better on the iPhone 12 camera I would say is better on the pixel 6 Pro and the screen is just as nice it really comes down to what you want in the device

@@menpiseth3591 I currently use the pixel 8 Pro now. The pixel 6 Pro has served me well. I'm not a huge gamer so I cannot comment on gaming but software smoothness fluidity. It's been an excellent device. Camera is still top notch battery is decent or has been decent for me. Not the best but decent, but again it all depends on the individual's usage. If you could get it for a good price then I would say it's worth it

I want to purchase this phone so badly refurbished, but I didn't know about the overheating issue, now i'm too scared to make a purchase.

I wouldnt say fixed ,I just haven't had a major issue with it
Overheating only occurs in a few situations; 1: if a major firmware update is downloading over cellular. 2: if you're running hard apps like GPS/music at the same time whole out in the heat, and 3: if you JUST got the phone brand new and you're still within the first few days of ownership- gotta let the battery calibrate. Also, it greatly reduces overheating by wearing a case on the phone(think a PC heat sink); the case helps draw heat away from the battery.

@@solomemzech7644nothing you can do it’s chipset is made by Samsung and they don’t even use their own chipset in flagships for the same reasons. Next time get a snapdragon chipset made by TSMC. Unless Google leaves Samsung foundry it won’t get much better

Zoom on the camera is awful!! When I first got the 6 pro, I could get a decent photo using the zoom lens, now (l think it was with the latest update) my pictures using the zoom lens are extremely blurry. I'm so disappointed with this phone.

@@NomadTechProject yes, I believe so. I like to photograph my backyard birds, and prior to the update, I was able to get decent pictures. Now they are so blurry, I delete them. It's as if the camera doesn't know what to focus on despite tapping to focus. I bought this phone back in January of 2022 specifically for the camera. My husband's cheap Motorola now takes better pictures! Regular photos not requiring distance focus still turn out ok. Thank you for your response! I've done all the suggested fixes ( clean lens, restart phone, clear cache etc.) , nothing is working. I even took the camera back to factory reset. I'm considering replacing my pixel 6 pro with a Samsung. This is so disappointing considering how much I paid for my pixel 6 pro.

Some had issues due to modem and area with service. I'm in New York City so we have good coverage never felt the issue with the Modem. But the battery has always been average to me never amazing
Battery is not good, but improved after android 14. But heating issue is the reason for battery discharge. Tensor chip is waste. If it was snapdragon may be no one could beat Google phones

So how fast is ypur charging
It's not very fast the initial 50% goes fast but really here apple, pixel and Samsung all charge slow compared to others Samsung the fastest of the 3 . Takes over 1 hr and a half for a full charge from empty

Now here's one reason why it's a horrible phone: Upgrading to Android 14 will erase the boot image, which will render your phone unbootable, and leave you unable to retrieve any of your personal data. That is, if you have multiple profiles enabled.
With a shitty modem. You have to climb the cell tower to have a decent phone call.

Whats battery life? Charging and usage
Battery life lasts about a day depending on your usage, I say I can go from 8am to about 8pm 10-12 hrs , charging isn't the fastest but it's doable

Worst processor tensor heating issue
Mostly patched in android 14 but most of the over heating came from a Samsung 5g modem. If u turn off the 5g it overheats less
But the battery life is dog shit.. so its a hard pass for me..
