Ingredients for making Lemon Cookies:
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoons baking powder
⅛ teaspoons baking soda
¼ teaspoons salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 whole egg
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon lemon extract
Lemon zest of 1 lemon
Lemon juice of 1 lemon
Lime zest of 1 lime
Lime juice of 1 lime
Yellow food coloring
1 cup powdered sugar

I love lemon in my desserts and I've been wanting a cookie for a cookie exchange my office does in the winter. Hoping this winter we can do it again.
My go to is molasses or like snickerdoodle, but this might standout and be more appealing. I can't find a snickerdoodle that stays soft and I don't think molasses is up most peoples' alleys.
