6.3.13 jenny I made it through 25 minutes right before combo2, I just finished with chalene extreme burn 1 and then this.Loved it, first time doing using 1 step, loved combo, did get a bit cofused on the 3 repeater hams into basic but got it.Im going to aim for finishing this all the way through.Thanks for making this, I really enjoyed all the combos and I will pick it up after a few times.down 14.2lbs now.Will keep you posted.
I just worked out with Jenny Ford's Step Aerobics Basic w/3Combo! It was an awesome workout. It provided good music, good instruction and a good sweat! I'll be sticking with Jenny's workouts! Hey Jenny, I saw your step classes on you tube and thought " hey I can do that!" So I ordered a step and it arrived today... Well it has been 30 yrs or so since my last step class (which I used to Love), and I thought it wont take me long to get back into this... Wow, the cardio side was okay, but the Combos at my age!!!! So I did finish, but I will go through this again and again to perfect the combinations... Thanks heaps and I look forward to trying out some of your more difficult ones soon
minxter87, what a great suggestion! I will look into what closed captioning would take. I've never thought of that, but makes perfect sense with step when you really must HEAR the cues. You must have a lot going on at your home too! =) Thanks again for the idea.
my legs did a great job today because of these crazy 11 lunge-backs !!! wonderful idea ! I find it really affects how you feel mentally, too. You just have an overall sense of strength in your mind and body. Your video is so perfect - and I've been upping the weight of my weights for some of the moves and I'm getting better at pushups (I've got a lot of weight to push up! lol), which makes me happy!
I don't usually find Basic Step challenging so I avoid it. I did this workout today thinking it was Intermediate level and have to say that it was still very enjoyable. On two risers it was also a little bit more challenging despite the slow pace, and I actually really loved it. Still sweated a whole lot, so I'll be sure to visit again some other time when I'm not feeling too energetic. :) Thank you, Jenny.

So I looked on UA-cam and found your videos and NOW WE HAVE FUN with Step Aerobics!!! You do a really great job!!! We can join in all good! OMGosh this work out is amazing! I simply LOVE it. After my treadmill broke and gaining about 100lbs over the last 3 years I knew it was waaay past time to get back on track. I signed on to a popular weight loss program and incorporated a simple walking routine at a local walking park, and almost immediately lost 12lbs with dedication, commitment and hard work. Soon the over-crowded walking park and impossibly small parking lot became too much for me and I began to back slide on my exercise routine. I bought a treadmill but simply was NOT using it. I remembered my step board gathering dust under the bed and pulled it out. Then I found this workout and now I'M FREE once again from the shackles of boring workouts and crowded public workout places! And boy do I sweat to this. I love the simplicity of the routine and the sneaky intensity of it. LOL. For me this step program is perfect and absolutely NOT BORING!!! Thanks JENNY FORD for giving me my body and my life back!

This is my first experience doing step aerobics besides on Wii Fit. I really love that it's simple for beginners but it feels challenging! Also I really appreciate the warm up and cool down sections because I know I (and I suspect many other people) often skips these even though they are important parts of a workout.

If you can fit in at least 3 sessions of cardio per week, (whether it is a step session, or a zumba class, or riding you bike, or going for a jog) you will really maximize your results. Oh my, I love these videos perfect for the pandemic I just bought a Reebok step at a second hand store For $14 I use to instruct step in the early 90s, these videos are fantastic I’m soaked by the end and am running a huge endorphin high.
I did this for the first time last night. It was challenging and I missed a few steps, but her directions are great and repetitions sufficient that I was following along pretty quickly. I can only do super low-impact stuff, and I appreciated that she showed alternatives to the hopping. Benefit: I was concentrating on the steps so hard, it was over (and I was drenched!) before I knew it!!

Challenging but not too hard to follow, mostly because of your excellent direction throughout. Excellent video! - today was my first time through this workout. Last week I did your absolute beginner video which was a great refresher for me. This week I wanted a bit more challenge, and this was perfect. I was able to make it to the end of Combo 2, but my stamina was not ready for all three. Becuase you put the time stamps on the video it was really easy for me to jump to the warm down. I will definitely come back to this next week and see if I can make it further through. I only have one request, which is to spend slightly longer in the warm down stretches please. Thank you so much for a superbly balanced video - well paced, excellent sequential teaching of the combinations. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
I've done this a couple of times already Jenny and it's a great workout! I don't have a step bench yet but found that this can easily be done on the floor. Keep the videos coming!

Hi MiissAlexandraMakeup, certainly doing this workout once per week is a great start! If you can fit in at least 3 sessions of cardio per week, (whether it is a step session, or a zumba class, or riding you bike, or going for a jog) you will really maximize your results. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Way to go on keeping yourself healthy and active!
OMG Im so glad I found you...im a stay at hm mom of 5 and the youngest are twins...Its 11:49 pm right now and I just got done with this workout and I feel great..happy subber here...lol...great job!

I did this for the first time last night. It was challenging and I missed a few steps, but her directions are great and repetitions sufficient that I was following along pretty quickly. I can only do super low-impact stuff, and I appreciated that she showed alternatives to the hopping. Benefit: I was concentrating on the steps so hard, it was over (and I was drenched!) before I knew it!!

Challenging but not too hard to follow, mostly because of your excellent direction throughout. I started doing your routines about 4 months ago, and since the beginning of the year, I've lost more than 40 pounds!! More importantly, my blood pressure has dropped significantly, and my cardio health has improved dramatically. Your workouts are a super important part of my fitness regimen, and I attribute a great deal of my success to you and them. I really can't express enough appreciation to you.

Excellent video! - today was my first time through this workout. Last week I did your absolute beginner video which was a great refresher for me. This week I wanted a bit more challenge, and this was perfect.
I was able to make it to the end of Combo 2, but my stamina was not ready for all three. Becuase you put the time stamps on the video it was really easy for me to jump to the warm down. I will definitely come back to this next week and see if I can make it further through.
I only have one request, which is to spend slightly longer in the warm down stretches please.

Omg.....this is an awesome video Jenny my first step in a long time...I got more than half way through before I almost feel on my face..lol 30mins....I'm going to try again tomorrow and try to get thru the whole thing....
