- In this video I'll show you how I built my own PlipBox adapter for my Amiga 2000 to experiment with it on the Internet.
Aside from pre-built versions of this product there are several other ways to get your Amiga online, but this is one of the cheapest
Randomly as i make this video the TCP stack Roadshow gets an update thats suppose to make installation even easier!
Aparently the developer i working on an update to thr Plipbox software.
Also you can connect the reset pin on the Arduino to pin 16 to fix the reset issue

You took me back to the WOA show where I bought a full licence for Ibrowse from the developer. It was my favourite web browser.
I too have a plipbox and it’s great. I can get up to 70k/s download speeds on my accelerated amiga 3000. Ibrowse works nicely for older sites. It is irritating that you need to reset the plipbox each amiga reboot but otherwise this is a very easy and economical solution to get your amiga online.
Interesting. Based on another project (the next video) I’m convinced the speed I saw is the limit of the Amiga I have.

Run a line from the parallel RESET pin to that on the Arduino and it reboots with the Amiga
To be honest I don’t know why they didn’t - but yeah, sure you could do this
Didn't Haynie put lines from the parallellport to the video slot in the 2000? Used to control the video toaster. Would it be possible to make an internal slot version of the plipbox?
Yes he did, I was looking at that the other day as it would be a neat solution. There’s also audio on that connector too. Maybe I need a new RGB2HDMI adapter!

Can you add the possibility to use with diagrom ? Or maybe another 'lite' version.
Use serial output log on diagrom with wire it's...boring.

So, POE is a thing. I wonder is there is a versing of this that could just be powered by POE.
I suspect that’s possible, need a little more circuitry - I think you can get PoE power extractors
wrong the developer is working on a branch on some new fetures as far as i can see , the reset fix would be to connect parport pin 16 to nano pin 3 this way on reset or softreset also tha arduino gets reset
Saw the reset fix it’s a shame it’s not on the official schematics - and good than an update is on the way
