Sierra, pleeeeeeease move your microphone a little closer to Skylars! Whenever you turn towards her (which is most of the time) I can't see your facial expressions at all. It's usually so fun to see your reactions to things and how you tell a story, but your mic is blocking your face badly. Also, I have minor hearing loss, and when I can't read your lips because the mic is covering you, it's harder for me to understand you. Thanks! Love you both so so so much!!!
Having a sister adopted from Africa and a brother adopted from China, my family loves "Meet the Robinsons." The theme of adoption really resonates with all of us. I'm glad to see someone else likes it, too. :)
So many people forget that there are ADULTS who are technically in GenZ, I'm a '98 baby (21) and honestly relate way more to the millennial generation than most people younger than me. Growing up in the late 90's/early 2000's was WAY different than growing up in the past recent years!
This is so true. I'm in the exact same age range and it's such a weird middle ground. Also I noticed online that's there is different years for the exact end year for millennials because it's kinda debated. But anyone on a cusp of a new gen is obviously going to get different attributes.
Rewatching some of these old episodes now that the podcast has been revived and I have to say how grateful I am to you and Skylar for leaving these old episodes up! I totally understand and respect her wanting to live her life online, and I truly appreciate that you guys allow us to still see these old episodes while protecting her current privacy!
I am a millennial as well and ABSOLUTELY used to cringe at TikTok😂🤣 but then I made my dog an account and now he’s gone viral a few times and I see how it’s addicting... gosh I hate admitting that lol
More than 10% of couples suffer from fertility issues and miscarriage. Even if that's not the case, it's extremely insensitive to ask women about their family planning habits.
2 of my exes proposed to me w/o ever mentioning the idea of us getting married. My now fiancé and I have had convos leading up to his proposal about it and it worked b/c I said yes. The convo is crucial
I love the topics you’ve chosen till now, they’re so diverse and interesting to see a fashion UA-camr be so real about other stuff! Can you guys do a podcast about politics/religion next? It’d be really cool to see that!
1. I gave my husband 3 choices for my wedding ring. I wanted him to pick it out it was more special that way too. I also have a rose gold/morganite ring! I love how untraditional it is. We actually got it on Etsy because no jewelry place had what I was looking for 2. We were so untraditional. I bought my wedding dress, then started planning our wedding, then got engaged and then got married haha 3. I agree don’t invite people who stress you out. We had the smallest wedding but it made it the most beautiful/ intimate wedding anybody who was there has ever been too (secretly my moms favorite wedding she’s ever been to... and I have 2 sisters) 4. My dress was backless but I had a belt piece connect in the back that just POPPED off literally as I was getting ready to go down the isle. My friend was sewing it back on as my mom stuck her hand on my back because I was afraid of getting poked and having blood over my white dress. 5. My favorite part was my husband being so excited to take pictures. He’s not a pictures kinda guy, definitely not a kissing for pictures guy but he was so elated every time our photographer asked to take pictures. 6. If anything spend the most money on the photographer. I had a $900 engagement ring, a $250 white pageant dress as my wedding dress, we got married in a family friends cabin, my step granddad supplied the steaks and my step dad grilled for us, our dj was my husbands phone and a portable speaker. We had incredible decorations and my amazing mother in law who just so happened to be a wedding coordinator in the past made everything happen just how I saw it... we went cheap with everything but I didn’t care about the cost of the photos because that’s the one thing you take from the wedding that you keep forever. The ring and the man too obviously, but that’s the biggest momento you get to remember that special day
I'm of the same opinion about discussing the option of marriage as a couple before the actual proposal. I was very up front about that with my then-boyfriend. We discussed and we didn't go ring shopping together. I gave him ideas and he took it from there and he surprised me with the proposal! Been married a year now!
I absolutely loved this episode! My boyfriend and I have been having discussions about getting married. I still want the proposal to be a surprise, but we have had many conversations about marriage, children, and spending our lives together. Loved hearing about your weddings! It’s like I’m sitting in the room with two of my friends
I’m getting married in 24 days and I have the worst anxiety but I loved the part where your step dad said “take a moment this will never happen again” I am going to repeat that over and over to myself! ❤️
omg this topic was everything to me. I got married a few years ago and it was not what I thought but its a great memory for me and my marriage means the world to me. So, to hear other women talk about theirs is so comforting to me.
OMG the family member getting mad for us taking photos happened to us too. My husband's grandfather yelled at us for taking too long doing pictures and made me cry. He was saying that people were leaving but honestly it was probably like 5 people who left and they probably had planned to leave right after the ceremony anyway.
This podcast was perfect! Planning a wedding at the moment for May 2020 and love the advice! You ladies are amazing! Always looking forward to the podcast!
I just adore you two. Genuine affection and humor comes through so beautifully. I just want to beat up all the bullies at The ironically named Beautycon. So glad your following on all fronts will most likely grow due to your intelligent and bold truths regarding the actions all of those dou&he bubbles!! You ladies rock!!! 💚
I absolutely loved this week's podcast! I'm getting married next May, and hearing about your weddings has been so helpful and grounding! Sierra, I really love that you and Steven took moments away from your wedding to just be together. That's something I definitely want to do with my fiance on our day. I've watched your wedding prep vlogs so many times, but it's so cool to hear more in-depth about the day.
Just hopping on board listening to the podcast from the beginning. Skylar's sweaters are all so cute! Loving the casual nature of the podcast, especially since it's hard to have these conversations with all the COVID social distancing.
We talked about getting married for all the 5 years we were together before engagement... My husband picked my ring on his own and oh my goodness it showed how well he knows me! I loved it so much I got the matching wedding band for the set.
I love this, my wedding was a little more old fashioned (Church ceremony and dessert reception in the gym), but we got married in the church my husbands grandparents and parents were married in, which was important to both of us since they both grandparents passed away. WE were blessed enough that we have family pay or be vendors, my sisters 2 friends were my photographers and i had know them since i little and we got some beautiful winter shots in the snow. Skylar i do feel you on the push back on little things, I wore a tea length dress bc i knew i wanted outdoor photos but didn't want to be hefting a ball gown by myself in January in Chicago with the first big snow storm looming lol. my dads mom and my m.i.l. mom didn't really approve of the choice, thankful my mom reiterate that i was making a practical choice for my comfort and not theirs lol
Seirra I feel ya I had Jonas brothers all over my walls at 11 . Most underrated Disney movies are Atlantis , treasure planet and emporers newgroove . You should do a meet and greet in Oregon.
Since I am the same age as you two I relate to everything you guys talk about from growing up and our generation! And I full heartedly agree with Skylar about Meet the Robinsons is the best Disney film because it is so cool, funny and wholesome. 👌🏻 It gets a 12/10 from me every time!
I LOVED this! I'm getting a month from yesterday so I'm under 30 days and going crazy! Getting over the idea of people being at the wedding that I literally don't give a shit about has been such a hurdle!
On my wedding day my photo booth and DJ didn't show up. I was so blessed to have my mum and brothers on the phone making arrangements 10 minutes before the ceremony started and it ended up being SO much better than I could have imagined. Looking back I'm glad it happened (although we were chasing up our refund for the next year!)!!
I called into the advice line and my question was about the ups and downs of your wedding planning and how you handled the stresses that came up along the way and your whole podcast happens to be about that too 💕 I’m getting married on 9/7/19 and I really loved getting to hear everything you guys had to say and could relate to so much
We talked first for months as well. We were thinking of getting married the August before my husband started grad school and then he found out he needed to start in June. I found that out in late March the year before we married. I told him I wanted a year to plan so he had until the end of May. 😂😂😂 It was actually perfect because he proposed a month before my grandmother passed and she helped me pick out my dress. 😭 Also we used a 3 stone ring my mom had because it was exactly what I wanted.
Loooooooved watching and listening to this! I listened while studying for my exam and it was sooooo good to hear a podcast from one of my favourite youtubers!
Omg Skylar I agree with you SO much on Meet the Robinsons!! It makes me cry almost every time, but also happy ❤️ it’s such a good movie and a lot of people I’ve talked to haven’t watched it
This is all SO HELPFUL! I am planning my wedding right now and I can totally relate to not disappointing your family and also being able to say no. Haven't got to the seating chart yet but thanks for the advice! You guys are also right, none of this will really matter in the end anyways! xo
Just found this! I love Meet the Robinsons, that and Ratatouille ❤ I was just thinking about that too, how every generation is different and I dont understand what they see in some of the things but 🤷♀️ I just wonder what my kiddos will like 😬 love your podcast, just subscribed!
Kayla B i want kids eventually but it does become scary thinking about what the world will be like when our generation has children but it’s exciting too
I agree with skylar - pooping is fun and therapeutic. The bathroom is one of the rooms im most relaxed in. Sometimes ill just hang out on my sink with the fan on, scrolling through my phone or whateve. 🤷♀️
Yay I was waiting for the new podcast I recently found your channels and I really like them and the message you try and spread about body positivity I already binged all the podcasts and I love them anyways I hope you have an amazing day🤪💖😊
I recently got married (beginning of august) and I also recently just found your podcast (and I love it) and I really like what you guys had to say. There were so many things that went bad in my wedding but also so many small moments where everything was amazing.
My husband and I shopped for my ring too. We looked online first and then he took me shopping. He got me the one I loved the most but had it custom made with diamonds from both our mothers original sets.
Great episode. This is so relatable. I got married last year and I thought about my wedding while listening to the podcast. I'd love to share my wedding video with you two. I can't wait to hear more podcast episodes. I hope you are both doing well and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
I honestly only listen to your podcast because they are so relatable and true. I love you girls and am inspired every day to just be myself and love doing what I want 💕💕💕
Wedding planning is so much fun but so stressful at times! I hated when people tried to bring a plus one they weren't given because it's such an awkward situation to be in, but I also hated when people RSVP'd and never showed up (without a good reason)!!!! It was over a 100.00 loss because we still had to pay for their seat, food, cake and alcohol estimation etc. People need to learn wedding guest etiquette
Ahhhh been waiting all week for the podcast!! I love to watch this in the mornings when my boyfriend is at work and I can enjoy you guys and a coffee ☕️❤️
I need a hero is my favorite song ever. It brings me so much joy, it reminds me of being in Show Choir and winning grand championships. After we would win Show Choir competitions we would always blast I need a hero, as it was our best number, and our last one, because we would always leave the judges on a high note. Clearly, as that was our best and always our consultant number, we always had a blast doing that number.
My Mom and Dad and my husband's parents were so good about not inviting friends that I didn't know! A lot of my parent's friends were close to me, so it wasn't that big of a deal and the same went for my husband. That was fine. I had a lot of control over who was there and everybody was really understanding when I said hey I can't invite everybody.
My wedding was in my moms backyard, it was a potluck and one of my sponsees surprised me with a tiered wedding cake (she told me she was making it and she paid for a beautiful cake). It was so sweet. A friend DJ’d for us and another was our photographer. We spent less than $300 on everything and I had a borrowed dress and I was surrounded my friends and family and then we crashed a fundraiser dance later that night (we didn’t have to rent the place and they got the benefit of 30+ extra tickets sold. We had a blast. We’ve been together 19 years and married 13 years, almost 14 and 4 kids later. It’s hard, but it’s still worth it!!!
Also we put out fliers and only have 3 weeks notice and my father chose to give us money instead of coming to the wedding. My husband to be called him and told him he obviously didn’t understand who I was and what was my priority and that I’d rather have my dad walk my down the isle rather than his money. Also thanks uncle dennis.
I sent my husband the exact ring I wanted. We’d already confirmed my - stupidly tiny - ring size. I really wanted something out of the box and unique, thus my black diamond, black gold ring. ETA Oh and I got married at Walt Disney World and while we had some hiccups Disney is SOOOO good at making it all perfect in the end.
I had several people at my wedding with big fancy cameras taking tons of pictures and videos on my wedding day, starting with when we were getting ready all the way to the reception. Never once saw any of it. I would have loved some of those nice photos from the reception because we couldn't afford to have our photographer stay at the reception, but oh well I guess!
Omg yes I've been waiting for this 😍 Sierra you are my biggest body positivity inspiration, thank you for delivering such real and amazing content. Love to you and Skylar! 💕 💕 💕
Loved this podcast. I’m planning my wedding right now. When we get married we will be engaged for 2 years. I have been getting a lot of backlash about waiting that long. I’m also not getting married in heels the girls and I are all wearing converses. Thank you for all your advise.
I didn't eat anything my entire wedding day, either! We had planned to have little sandwiches and I was taking photos while everyone else was eating. Nobody saved me any food, so I was STARVING by the time the reception rolled around.
Can I comment if I’m here from 2021? 😂 For our wedding we literally just had immediate family. We looked ridiculous in the huge church but then we went to my in-laws’ home and it was the perfect size. Don’t regret anything except the priest forgetting to say you can kiss the bride! 🤬
I totally went ring shopping with my mom and gave my husband three different options and one of them was a heart ring. I went home and told my aunt that I wanted a heart shaped diamond ring and she then called my husband and gave him her wedding ring to give to me and it’s a heart shaped diamond and her and her husband has been married for 20+ years and it’s the most special ring ! I also told my husband “do not propose to me on my birthday” and he did but he did it with my immediate family all together and it was really special ❤️
Anyone else think that Mamma Mia Here We Go Again was not great? Definitely not the greatest movie of all time. Loved loved loved that you put the podcast up! Didn’t think we would get one this week!
My fav esp yet, do more personal stories e.g finances during all stage of a relationship e.g seeing someone dating, official, marriage. Forsy dates who pays.. bill while married, e.g

Kristin Martin everyone like this so Sierra and skylar see it ❤️❤️
Kristin. You are totally right. It’s covering her whole face.
Oh I didn't notice and now I can't look anywhere else :D
It has been a problem from the first episode. Skylar's has always been perfectly place but Sierra's covers her face half of the time.
I never really noticed until Kristen said something and now I can’t stop watching. It’s like watching a car crash and you can’t look away.
My ocd.
Skylar needs a merch shirt that says “I love that for you” 😂😂😍
Would buy.
I'd buy it!!
I would but asap🤣❤
And we stand 🤣
I want one!
Having a sister adopted from Africa and a brother adopted from China, my family loves "Meet the Robinsons." The theme of adoption really resonates with all of us. I'm glad to see someone else likes it, too. :)
It's so awesome that you have two adopted siblings! I would love to adopt a child someday ❤

Love the idea of Skylar raising her child to be a Broadway star lol
Millennials, everyone is SO mean to us STILL. Let’s be nicer!
I think Gen Z’ers are so passionate and creative and they’re gonna change the world! 🥰
Sierra is actually gen Z as well. Gen z starts from people born in 1995
“Pooping is fun”
“It’s kind of therapeutic”
Skylar and Sierra 2019
I love the topics you’ve chosen till now, they’re so diverse and interesting to see a fashion UA-camr be so real about other stuff!
Can you guys do a podcast about politics/religion next? It’d be really cool to see that!
Yes would be super interesting to hear about their beliefs
Yes meet the Robinsons is my all time favorite movie. And I love the message behind it.
Emily Castaneda 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I have "keep moving forward" tattooed on my foot. The movie makes me cry every single time
“Look at these stiletto heels! Wouldn’t you feel more feminine-“ NOPE. I don’t need three inches to feel like a woman. You go Skylar!
1. I gave my husband 3 choices for my wedding ring. I wanted him to pick it out it was more special that way too. I also have a rose gold/morganite ring! I love how untraditional it is. We actually got it on Etsy because no jewelry place had what I was looking for
2. We were so untraditional. I bought my wedding dress, then started planning our wedding, then got engaged and then got married haha
3. I agree don’t invite people who stress you out. We had the smallest wedding but it made it the most beautiful/ intimate wedding anybody who was there has ever been too (secretly my moms favorite wedding she’s ever been to... and I have 2 sisters)
The ring and the man too obviously, but that’s the biggest momento you get to remember that special day
I also learned that babies cry in the womb with my last pregnancy! They’ve studied it and apparently they mostly cry from loud sudden noises
I'm of the same opinion about discussing the option of marriage as a couple before the actual proposal. I was very up front about that with my then-boyfriend. meet the robinsons is THE BEST disney movie of all time, its so underrated
typical tae retweet!
I could not wait one more day for the podcast ❤️
I NEED pictures from Skylar's wedding! I have never thought about having a wedding in a theater but now that I've heard the idea, I am obsessed!
Hannah Reuther there’s a whole video on sierras vlog channel

Congratulations! I’m the week after you, on the 14th! So exciting ❤️❤️

LOVED your hot take, Sierra! I'm really tired of how often the algorithm is blamed!!!
This podcast was perfect! Planning a wedding at the moment for May 2020 and love the advice!
You ladies are amazing! Always looking forward to the podcast!
meet the robinsons is and always will be the best disney movie made. straight up
Terrorific Theories AGREE
Ok I lowkey agree with the Meet the Robinson’s movie opinion, but you think Mamma Mia Here we go Again is better than the original??? I am appalled.
Cambria Estrada it is better so much
I hated the second one lol
I love the songs more from Mamma Mia 2 more and Cher? How can you not die when you made her entrance?
I Love you guys so much and every week i just wait for the podcast!!!!! Thanks for always brightening my day!
Would love to see some pics from Skylars wedding! It sounds beautiful 😍
joelle suydam she actually has her wedding video on UA-cam! It was beautiful!!

LOL I feel like most millennials also don't realize that there are older gen z kids. I'm technically Gen z and I turn 21 in two months.
Alyssa Gomez We also deny that we are 30...so.
I absolutely loved this week's podcast! I'm getting married next May, and hearing about your weddings has been so helpful and grounding! Meet the Robinsons is the best movie! I get totally into it whenever I have my son watch it. I’ve watched it at least 10x
Seirra I feel ya I had Jonas brothers all over my walls at 11 . Most underrated Disney movies are Atlantis , treasure planet and emporers newgroove . You should do a meet and greet in Oregon.
This was the absolute perfect thing to listen to/occasionally watch while going over my menu options for my own wedding!
PS - on my other half's account lol
Since I am the same age as you two I relate to everything you guys talk about from growing up and our generation! And I full heartedly agree with Skylar about Meet the Robinsons is the best Disney film because it is so cool, funny and wholesome. 👌🏻 It gets a 12/10 from me every time!
I’m getting married at the end of the month and everything you guys talked about is 100% relatable!
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU SKYLER!! I love Meet the Robinson’s. That’s my favorite movie and I think it’s the best Disney movie ever.
I LOVED this! I'm getting a month from yesterday so I'm under 30 days and going crazy! Getting over the idea of people being at the wedding that I literally don't give a shit about has been such a hurdle!

Your dad wanting to change what table he was at would make me LOSE MY MIND. I would explode.
Sierra I love the Be More Chill shirt!
RIP Be More Chill 😭
I’d been checking everyday since Monday for the new podcast!!
I agree with skylar - pooping is fun and therapeutic. The bathroom is one of the rooms im most relaxed in. Sometimes ill just hang out on my sink with the fan on, scrolling through my phone or whateve. 🤷♀️

Perfect timing! I just caught up on the Podcast last night!
OH MY GOSH I WAS OBSESSED WITH MEET THE ROBINSONS. I’ve watched it probably 20 times always start crying that “his best friend is dad” 😂😂😂😂
My husband and I shopped for my ring too. We looked online first and then he took me shopping. He got me the one I loved the most but had it custom made with diamonds from both our mothers original sets.
Wow! I would love to see pictures from both of your weddings! They both sound beautiful
Great episode. This is so relatable. I got married last year and I thought about my wedding while listening to the podcast. I'd love to share my wedding video with you two. I can't wait to hear more podcast episodes. I hope you are both doing well and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
omg! watched your wedding videos yesterday and it made me cry!!! the happiness and love i could see and feel between everyone was so beautiful
I honestly only listen to your podcast because they are so relatable and true. I love you girls and am inspired every day to just be myself and love doing what I want 💕💕💕
skylers 60-40 things on marriage is so true! love your inputs girl
I agree with Skyler... Meet The Robinson’s is my favorite Disney movie, it’s extremely underrated and it is just an exceptional movie imho🍿 🎥
Amy Blixt woot woot!
I LOVE Sierra’s shirt!!!
Yes, Skyler!!! Meet the Robinson's is amazing!
Reallllllyyyyy enjoyed this planning my wedding now and its already stressful. I have anxiety too
My Mom and Dad and my husband's parents were so good about not inviting friends that I didn't know! A lot of my parent's friends were close to me, so it wasn't that big of a deal and the same went for my husband. That was fine. I had a lot of control over who was there and everybody was really understanding when I said hey I can't invite everybody.
Skylar, have you ever seen the movie leap?? I think it’s Disney, I think you would really love it!!
i FEEL your statement about wanting the atheistic because that’s SO ME OMG
This was so interesting!! Thanks for being so honest, you guys are really helpful!
Chicken little is a Disney Movie and it’s amazing !!
I need to be as boujee as Sky when she said we were at disney drinking Disney beer lol love her❤🤣
My wedding was in my moms backyard, it was a potluck and one of my sponsees surprised me with a tiered wedding cake (she told me she was making it and she paid for a beautiful cake).
This is so helpful! I’ve been struggling with the guest list, but your insight was so helpful!
Excited to watch this podcast! I am loving every one. You girls are so beautiful and encouraging. Have a great day!
This is one of my favorite episodes love you guys so much
I need a hero gets stuck in my head AT least once a week. The shriek trilogy is ICONIC
OMG YES THE BE MORE CHILL SHIRT I LOVE
Can I comment if I’m here from 2021? 😂
For our wedding we literally just had immediate family.
