This is the video that sparked my interest to question the MANY other videos i watched and the teachings they were sharing... THANK YOU FOR SHARING to me a very very new person to feng shui because i was loosing sleep thinking about what to do in my home as i have done a deep spring cleaning and am stuck not knowing where to start .. I am sorry for others who have been using fast food feng shui, and so thankful for teachers like you who are busting myths! Saving me time, energy and MONEY.

I am surprised to hear you calling this bagua map "fast food" feng shui, because it is quite uncommon to find information on online, for consultations, or in books. Most seem to use the nine square bagua map, which does not have consideration for direction. I don't mind being told that I'm doing it wrong, but I am now confused about the right way... what do the people in your family have to do with placement of objects in your home? I guess I have lots more to research in depth now!

The bagua map that I follow (Black Hat Sect) states you line up the side of the bagua map with career at your front door. In your video you say Career is in the north but that doesn't work for me as the side of my home with career gua is facing west. The method I follow also states you can place the bagua in each room. Can you explain?

Magic is Magic. Both systems should work. Intent+belief=results. Also you need to look at if something is popular it means it is successful and it is successful for a reason. Conflicting beliefs about a certain practice are very common. Look at astrology for example. Theres tropical (western) astrology which is very popular and then there is placidus and vedic astrology.

I did Black Hat Feng shui and I was familiar with several other schools- Which probably are the true origins of Feng Shui . I was very poor . The mind , however, is a powerful thing - I am now very wealthy. I guess I'm a sucker for "fast food" !!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your opinion. I think that it will be very important to mention the Tibetan influence and the great misconception and confusion in tools of the trade and names. The story is really long and extend way beyond the Sung and their contact with the kingdom's around the Indian ocean.

I never understood that bc they are telling me to place it over my home but the bottom is my front door which faces the south the south is the fame not the career im so confused
You are confusing facing directions. Facing direction of an area is inward towards the center of home (outside-in). It seems that you are trying to face outward towards exit (inside-out)
I'm new to fengshui and trying to figure out which feng shui philosophy to direct my energy towards. I have not made my decision yet. I believe your information will educate people better when you explain the reasons behind it; the "why" is very important. Please explain thoroughly between the right and wrong one, instead of just saying it is the way it is because it is.

I wanted to know if you could talk about the difference between Classic Feng Shui and the Hindu version of Feng Shui? I only ask because there is an interior designer that told me that she did some funk shui work for some other clients but it was the funk shui in the Hindu sense and not the classic sense. I'm not sure if I want to hire her to assist me with my funk shui if by chance it's not what I'm going for.

After doing my own studying courses on Flying Star Feng Shui, I would be scared shitless to use the Bagua as a tool to map out any house.

Ive tried these methods for years; now its all changed again going by your video.. why cant all these feng shui “experts” get it right??? My current home; the front door is facing South so its Red and fame area? For years i was advised it was career water area. Water puts out fire.. I’m ready to give it all up. Video on how to decorate will be helpful too!
I totally get the frustration, trust me! I've been there! The thing is, classical ( real ) feng shui has always been there, for at least 4000 years. THAT never changed. What DID happen is that these newer school of thoughts popped up and dragged people away from the true teachings.... I'm sorry it feels like it's been a waste of time and energy and you're right in wanting to give it all up. Big hugs to you....
I don't understand, what if your home doesn't consist of all these family members. Roommate situations etc. Also how is the career, money, family information addressed in the classical method ?

I have been reading into Feng Shui the last couple of weeks and am so glad that the first book I started reading was traditional, not new age, in one way. On the other hand it really frustrates me that (a) my house and door face west and therefore is all negative across the front door and front bedroom and alli get is get another house like they just float down from the sky on a whim, and (b) there is nothing in any search yet that has clearly said what needs to be done about it in a practical common sense way. If you know anything about that if you could let me know. Eg if it’s in fire element do I place fire to strengthen the position or do I place water to counteract the position. Nothing I found online answers that which is the crux of the whole matter.
Hi Troy! So happy to meet you! Hmm.... I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'negative across the front door and front bedroom'. And who is telling you to just get another house...? If fire element is needed it's not because it's in the south ( I'm HOPING that's not what you're told / read because that's not real feng shui )... I'd suggest working with a TRAINED consultant and figuring out your placements for best results.
Well the home faces west and therefore is Zhen. The front door is in the west palace, Jung Mae - end of fate (for Zhen). I have been Following “Art of Feng Shui” by Michael Erlewine, verified by “Introduction to Feng Shui” by American Feng Shui Association. I have since found out the missing piece in “Idiots Guide to Feng Shui”. Fire element was just an example. Turns out that I was on the right path and got it. I can accept the relationship made between the Bagua and their elements, they are reasonably intuitive. The “flying stars on the other hand, while I can ponder the manifestations, I would love to have the data necessary to conduct a critical analysis of their basis. Other than that it’s quite exciting, and remembering, the I-Ching ... it’s all about opening possibilities ... providing options ... an independent view (yes I know there are taboo’s too). At 800 AUD a consult, we are not in that much need yet. It’s all still fadding for me, I will give it the college try first, develop a novice, understanding and then see how it goes from there.
Yes, the sources I saw basically suggested that if the door is in Jung Mae then keep looking. They didn’t cover what to do if you were already living there. But now I know to relate the elements of the trigrams (Bagua) to enhance or other the Elements of the chi locations (flying stars) I am planning to do that tomorrow night and see what ideas come from it. Might even learn how the chi location diagrams were developed.
Hi. I really hope you can answer me :(. I have been trying my best to apply the classical bagua at home. I decorated the north with water elements etc. I noticed that my husbands kua number 5. Total loss is on the north. He is the breadwinner. What do I do?. I also have a small fish tank there. Please give me some advice.
in any case i think a certain degree of intuition should also be involved. I have just started looking into feng shui and i am mostly finding information on the western aprouch. I am looking into the classical approuch as well to try and see what information it offers.

if i live in an appartment building , do i place it on the entry door on the street or on the entry door of the appartment ?

lets say when i stand in the door the northeast is at my feet and i am looking towards SW
is the direction then the North east or the southwest
is it the direction you look at ?

Guys from Tibet made a "new" Feng Shui modern, because in the older traditional one people didn`t had toilets, mirrors,windows, and other stuff in the house,they had toilets outside in the garden,and at the begining mirrors were made from metal.etc.

@@QimenChat there is the posibility to have the toilet on the money corner,don`t tell me that milk is black and also the bolshevic states(not comunist) they were building the houses with water pipes on the money corners,houses with 2-3 floors with toilets each floor, in the money corners, in the health corners....wtf? This is not coincidence,the bolshevic states they never do mistakes when it`s about their inntitutions, banks, factories, employes etc.

I have a question regarding baguas...is there a right time on when to install the bagua on the upper part of the main door?
and is it true with what they are saying about it? that if it is placed incorrectly that real misfortune will come your way which may even cause death?

We never recommend the bagua mirror unless you are a professional. And yes it IS true that we've seen it do more harm than good MANY TIMES. If you can return the bagua, I'd highly recommend it
the only reason why my uncle uses it isnt because of feng shui but because he was oradined into Mao Shan sect which focuses on Exorcising spiirits instaded if feng shui. he's about as clueless about feng shui as a fish about its own refelection

-and I also I know that there are tones of methods to increase a certain energy not only kinda water and wealth or not☺, but.. :
Now I invested also a lot of time to learn that stuff alltogether.
My question is: how can I use these things I already know as tools and improve my knowledge meanwhile?
Because I won't throw it all on the garbage.. at least I had a lot interesting experiences with it and trial and errors. Especially by making yoga for a whole year in the flying star death section- Don't do that!😅

Why is it dangiours to use a bagu mirror, the reason is I placed four on my four coners of my house, due to bad neigbors and an auto dealer in my back ally. Also I use a kua number to base my lucky area.
Using your kua number to do feng shui is a very basic, rudimentary way of doing feng shui. In fact in my consults and in my wealth qi group programmes we dont' take that into consideration at all. We DO use the kua number when applying Xuan Kong Da Gua feng shui which is VERY advanced, and is nothing like the common 4-good directions based on the kua number that is so prevalent in books and online. As for the bagua mirror, have they worked for you? We have found them to be not doing anything but in many occassions actually making things worse. Bad neighbour I can understand you wanting to deflect. But what is wrong with an auto dealer in your back ally? They're just minding their own business ( literally ), no?
Feng Shui and Prosper No, the auto dealer was dealing other things if you know what I mean. They would leave the back ally with filth, and wreked the my fence it was bad for years!. However the day when I placed the mirror it worked!!! Their gone I don't know what happened and I don't care. The back ally is clean and for the first time in DECADES, peaceful. The loud neighbor to the side now keeps their music low. See I live in an bad neighborhood , can't afford to leave...yet. So the mirrors helped a lot, I also use the statue of mercy pointing in the four cornors as well.
You're one of the lucky ones then. :) My Master and I have spent the past few years just helping our clients deal with the repercussions of the bagua mirror.

You are confusing orientation. In Feng Shui, direction of an area is inward towards the center of place. It seems that you are focusing outward.

Yes I'm totally agree with you on that point where you say " Nothing I say will make you believe me better than you seeing the shifts yourself." taoism is true and energy with relation to univer and humain is a fact and yes I'm trying it myself, however what I observed in the net that there are a lot of contents articles, vidéos and so on and often they present contradictions example the fact of having pets like cats some advice to have cats and some others strictly prevent to have ones in the house, there are also a lot of contradictions with relation to how the toilet and kitchens have to be or when a garage shares the same wall with your house is it considered as a part of the house or not? some say yes and some others say no!
