If you like to do a lot of your high poly work in Dynamesh, then you might like the Dynamesh Master Plug in. Joseph Drust made it. It allows you to set the exact poly count you want and will not use the size of the model to determine the resolution of your model.
Love this kind of videos....but please, could you upload the whole process without the acceleration of the video?? It would help a LOT more :) SPECIALLY for beginners
Thank you for this tuto I can slow it down and I can really see the process slowly. I'm basically new to this and I really love to watch this kinds of vid. Thank you!
Just keep going took me year n a half to get as good as this to go at a decent rate in a day to make something awesome with little effort just takes repeativly learning the same techniques over n over and experimenting with them getting an idea of what to make is the hard part just have fun learning but this video is by no means a tutorial unless u know his techniques or know a variety of other ways to do what he's doing
Wow. It looks very detailed and proportional naturally. great work. I would very like to see this creature being well animated diving through a dangerous underwater scenery.. Are you sculpting with a pen or mouse?
Nice job. Hm do you know, is there a way to convert the height information into a greyscale tif.? I mean like, starting from a plane surface, creating a pattern (reptile surface) for example and then convert it in highest point white and deepest black and in between all the grey tones. Im really curious. Thank you :)
@@Trimitkala So one week into the program, Skills are growing, brain is smoking. I figured out how to use displacement maps. But, for me MRGBZGrabber creates much better results... The only problem i have now, Is it possible to export alphas in higher resolution than only 72 dpi. I need to work very detailed, 72 dpi is way to low to show these afterwards in photoshop. You may have any suggestions? thx :)
Constructive criticism, Not a tutorial. An exhibit of your skills. Anyone who can follow what you did, why you did it or what was done to set up the tools to do it would probably not need this video. Also on the design side, the tail design IMO would be better vertical rather that horizontal. Also given the prehistoric look of the animal the tail would look better like a finned tail. But that's just my opinion. Awesome work.
Maybe you should apply for model designer on Subnautica... I clicked this thinking it was a subnautica Dev. Stream but I'm happy I got to see this instead :D
So this is only a tutorial if u know most of the techniques ur doing if u do know them then it's no problem following along pausing along the way I really enjoy the music can I get the name of it
Not only is this amazing, I think it would be really cool in a game like Subnautica, amazing work
Thank you very much.
That's actually what I thought it was lol I thought you were a model designer for subnautica lol
Mybe in 3th dlc.
Looks so so cool. I love the design. To me it reminds me of a prehistoric whale
Thank you very much for sharing your thought :)
Must say that the blob brush really gave amazing detail to the edges, made it almost look like an undead monster fish. Awesome work! :)
always great to see some timelapses to see this kind of tricks

Simple, yet awesome modification to the rake brush. I've already made my own. Thank you!
Your videos inspired me ! Thank you
It looks like Cetus, the monster whale of the Greek mythology. Good job.

Sure, I am going to do that. Thanks for your suggestion.
just do 0,25 speed
Thank you for this tuto I can slow it down and I can really see the process slowly. I'm basically new to this and I really love to watch this kinds of vid. Thank you!
Thank you very much :) I am also planning to make similar real-time videos.
Thank you for the video, your technique was very educating
this would look amazing with uv map and sub surface scattering maybe even a specular map. is awesome sculpt loved watching
Thank you very much. You are right... That way it would look better.
I love this video, thank you for sharing

Think of it this way: it takes 999+ hours of practice to be able to do this in a day.
very nice
Nice job
Nicely done
Nice bro😎😎
nice work! thanks
Amazing, thanks!
Very cool!
its blender programm or maya ?
Wow. It looks very detailed and proportional naturally. great work. I would very like to see this creature being well animated diving through a dangerous underwater scenery..

Как он так сглаживает хвост, плавники?
Nice job.

Yes can be done. You need to extract the displacement map from the model and then use it as your height map.
@@Trimitkala dude thx, now my desicion is sealed to purchase that programm.
You really helped,
Fabulous day to you :D

Terraria 3D :D
Very nice work!
After sculpting something, is it possible to transfer it to another program and then rig it? Or is that not ideal for sculpts?
Definitely that is possible. My next series of tutorials will be on that topic.
Wow
Cool
Definitely a nice scuplt with a mouse
Amazing work, altho only complaint is the noise at the beginning. Nearly threw my phone because of how ear piercing it is XD.
Do you use a mouse or a pen
really enjoyed this, do you do tutorials for zbrush? i seen you've done maya ones but im quite efficient in that lol
Thank you very much. Till now didn't make any Zbrush tutorial. But getting some comments to do so. So may be near future:)
@@Trimitkala that's brilliant. I've subbed now so I'll keep an eye out thanks!
Thank you:)
Neat.
What do you use this for? Could be for some game or sth.
This should be in a videogame called Depth!
this big boye should be in Subnautica
🙂👍
Are there tutorials where there is a voice over?
No there is not. In future I am planning for that. But it will be a different model.
awesome !
niice :3 wonder if you timelapsed painting it

i like how it starts like a spore creature with no limbs lol

Please tell me which program do you use for final color processing and rotation?
It's Key Shot.
😍🙌🏻
So this is only a tutorial if u know most of the techniques ur doing if u do know them then it's no problem following along pausing along the way I really enjoy the music can I get the name of it
Yes you are right and regarding the music actually I combined a few tracks together. So very difficult to tell any one track name. 🙂
@@Trimitkala heh no proble:) and could always just list it all then : p or I could just play this video to listen to the track lmao
I love drawing but I don't have pc to make realistic drawing 😭😭😭😭😭
It looks like a dunkelosteus
must be hard working as an artist on 640x480 screen
This is so awesome! What program did you use to render the turntable? Came out so smoothly.
ZBrush itself. Normal BPR turntable.
@@Trimitkala Oh okay. Thanks! :)
It reminds me of one of the titans from ark
Dr4g0nW4g0n couldn’t agree more
@@LITTLESHEPPARDS A bit late, but yeah.
How did you made the base mesh. Zpheres?
Yes, you are right.
Genio!
You don't use smooth :O nice! i'll try!
Kept the natural look to it by not using smooth as much for sure
Also gives more of a clay sculpture like feel to it
Unknown Worlds Entertainment should hire you in subnautica design
what resolution u used post 1000??
So I have no idea what the fuck that thing is but I need it in ARK right now
Is Zbrush an expensive program?
if i remember correcly its arround 800$ unless its had change.
do you use mouse for sculpting?
No I use stylus.
parabéns
Thank you:)
Рыба, которая дышит носом)
Subnautica should hire you
😁
Are you using dynamesh the entire sculpt?
Yes
Ok, interesting to know
wow
Badass
Soft ware name pleas
Zbrush
👍👍👍👍✌️
Try blender it is good too
It's not as good as Zbrush
it looks like a dunkleosteus
เท่
U zhld hv given it texture
wish u sold this to Ark Survival Evolved
Eeeeuh a helicopter
I know it's a fictional creature, and it looks awesome, but why does it have nostrils? Wouldn't gills or a blow hole be more appropriate.
I think your point is correct. Thanks for your suggestion. In future I will take care of that:)
Scar Fish
it doesn't have any gills so.. it's not an underwater creature then
Sea cucumber: am I a joke to you?
ну рыба и рыба

These Comercial breaks are killing the UA-cam experiance!!! 👎👎👎
Thumbs down for calling this a tutorial!
DarthChrisB Well maybe you should try making one yourself instead of using someone else’s creations?
Reproduce the video on the slowest speed and disable music :)
Wow
