AI Tacticat has been sacrificed to the goats. Long live Zoom call voice Tacticat. In all seriousness my move is ramping up - it’s unlikely I’ll have time to post anything new till 4/7. However I have a massive pre recorded going medieval series going live 3/13 with daily ep till 3/31. These are high quality - I made the series in December 2023 in prep for when I moved.
Getting better and better! Hopefully some patches soon, with a new playthrough.
Yeah the game is getting much better
What happened to pigs, my peeps need bacon with their eggs! Outrageous!
Fantastic additions! Looking forward to try them out. Hope they will add Sheep and Wool to help make it through winter 😊
Even if the audio quality is not as good as normal due to your moving to another state I still like to hear your voice. I could live with either of the choices but your voice in a zoom call sounds better to me.
Zoom call Tacticat it is lol. AI is actually harder to line up and write
Great stuff....looking forward to a new playthrough.
Likely won’t see one till 4/7 for FF - but when I come back it will be higher quality than before - I’m building a very $$$ studio in my house.
I've started my playthrough and the chickenscoop is helping a lot early in the game. Breakfast is back on the menu!
Nice!
Thanks for the update, it looks fun
Having roots in the countryside of my country, I see goats as the option for mountainous settings with less fertile soil, where cows don't do well
I wonder if the game is going to make a difference between them or it would be just a reskin of cows, anyway, I love goats, and as a plus, baby goats are adorable
I’m going to explore that - I would anticipate there will be a variance between milk and meat yields per year
Really good use of the CTRL+ALT+?? settings, that WILL be good for tagging Bandit Camps and distant areas. The game Devs sure have put a ton of detail into Frontier, as detailed with the troops. Considering just about to top 1000+ hours into "FF" I sure am looking forwars to Version 1.0, and we still have the rest of the combat testing to go yet. 2024 sure is going to be a good gaming year if it keeps up like this
I had a lot of the same bugs when using my old save file. Grazing area borders not going away, my goat barn would just disappear sometimes, chicken coop said no eggs got produced but there would be eggs in storage, and my traders would freak out and randomly stock items that I didn't tell them to. Also my soldiers got absolutely crushed during the first big raid, I assume because they had no veterancy. I started a new game but haven't gotten far enough to see if the bugs are gone. Hoping it's just an issue with old save files.
Yeah it’s hard to know on an old save - but I’m sure the bugs will be worked out
all right. this game is becoming great and great
This is the only game I have that I got thru Steam. I really enjoy it. Is this patch now available for download? will it download automatically from Steam?
Have to opt into playtesting
i assumed that all soldiers, both cav and infantry, can shoot arrows when stationed in the barracks, but only archers can shoot when outside, that would make the most sense to me. so in terraforming builds when barracks are in some inaccessible spots it would make sense to just put cheapest soldiers in there, but the better quality ones would come in handy in some field trips, like killing off bandit camps etc. i don't really expect even my well trained, high quality veteran troops to hold out against 200 ppl raid on the field. but we'll see how it is in practice which troops will be the most optimal one and how to cheese it.
can't wait for a new FF series after you moved!
Yeah lots to test!
I have the 9.1a version of the game. When the 9.2 update is released, will my game automatically update or do I need to do it manually from the builder's website? Thanks.
Auto update
Thanks@@TacticatGaming
Question:
if you assigned the horse to a stable, they can't breed right? So you need to spare 2 horses in the stable for them to continue to breed?
You need 2-3 for them to start breeding
@@TacticatGaming Ah I see. And the one you put to service at the barracks doesnt count right?
Nope if you assign it it’s removed - so it’s going to be $$ to replace cav units
Omg Omg..!! Here we Gooooo!!! All Hail the 🐔 where art the Goats.. Loving the expansions, excited to see where this game will go with the new dynamics and game play. How cringe is the🐴meat.? P.s can you straighten that road near your chicken, Horse and goat pens please it's mucking with my feng shui lol
