That was so fun. Thank you 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
I saw a little red coat near wedding dresses in this store, it looked woolly and I loved it, thanks for this little jaunt Donna.❤
Ooh I'll have to go back and have a little peek :) Good eye.
On the wall in the thrift room was a painting of a woman by the sea in a hat and coat that was reminiscent of you walking by the sea in your old fashioned coat!...liz
Now I'm going to have to go back and see it, maybe I can put it in my attics and she can age whilst I grow younger haha.
Thanks for taking me along. Resting against the oak table for $42 was a wooden ships wheel. I wonder how much they were asking. I have one that I need to sell or donate.
Luv the seagulls flying around. Have a happy Easter. God bless. 🙏🤗🦩🐇🌺
Good question! I'll have to check next time.
I Ilke that you imagine decorative possibilities and uses for your finds
And for half the things in the shop that I don't buy haha, I love to imagine decorating rooms after room :)
@@DonnaDavisArt Heh, you do the kind of imaginative window shopping the I do. It's inexpensive and aesthetically satisfying.
Hello donna,Donna, excited, I will sit down and watch your film after my lunch, xxvery excited, gooday and thankyou, xxxxx😊
💐 I enjoyed this, more please. 😊
I shall do, right now I'm in the mood to go to quite a few shops such as this.
"Not your average antiques" is a GREAT place! Always discover interesting items with great prices as well!
It sure is!
Thank you, Donna, for another restful and very interesting antique tour! That blue and white set is a treasure! After 30 years in Germany, it reminds me of the "Onion pattern" in its display of blue and white! So many pieces, perfect for a guest cottag where breakage can unforfortunately happen.. I didn't see any large serving bowls, which would not be so useful for vacationers, who would not be cooking large meals. Thank you, too, for finishing up with the drive past beautiful New England style homes, ending at the beach with birds flying over the water against an "end of the day" blue sky. You are such a sensitive and expert photographer, too! Please stay with us! Patricia
I love Not Your Average Antiques, thank you for taking us there.
Glad you enjoyed
Good morning !!!❤thank you for another Sunday morning thrifting trip!❤️💐
You are so welcome!
ooooOOOOOoooo such fun! Thanks Donna ! Gosh that Victorian Jacket is to die for SWOOOOOOONING! ..., I would actually wear that , have a Modern piece by NZ Designer called Trelise Cooper which is inspired by the Victorian times and I popped it on yesterday just because I love it x
I'd wear it too , but I dont' think it would fit me sadly, many pieces I find were not for the very tall ah well. But I do have some vintage things I mix in here and there and sometimes these things are pretty just hanging on a wall and if you get a friend who is small, she can borrow or cherish it :)
@@DonnaDavisArt they were so much smaller than we are now , and I may be a little wider than I used to be LOL but I too love to hang lovely pieces on my wall
Good Sunday morning Donna. Bright and sunny here but still chilly in the morning. Looking forward to seeing green. Love seeing the antiques. Cathy
Good morning, we'd had warmer weather but last night I forgot to bring my new Spring flowers in (still too early to plant them out) and they were hit with a bit of frost, so they are recovering in my plant room, warming up. It's funny, this time of year. I hope you had a lovely day.
Thanks for another wonderful video Donna. Thoroughly enjoyed every bit!! ❤
You are so welcome!
Hello dear Donna, i came across this lovely film i had already watched when it came out,but im sitting down very early morning with a cup of tea, very dark now,the nights znd morning s so much darker,it seems to have come upon us so early yhis year, timr has flown by,,i feel i get slower and time gets faster,,im hoping you are enjoying your beautiful home,nd all your creatures, the darling sea creatures and yourr girls(chickens )🐔, i often think of una,i hope she is having a happy life with her friends,,i hope too thst you and your family are keeping well and happy,xx,its a very relaxing time going through looking at a ll the treasure s there with you, thankyou again for all the films you have shown us ,very lovely, please know im thinking of you,,bless you, take care,,its October 19th already. 😊.bye for now,and from my little granddaughter left a message with me to say hello, her name is blossom,,xx
Thank you for sharing, Donna. A very interesting store and beautiful old homes in the region you drove through!
I'm so happy you enjoyed it :)
So nice the sky is so blue…… they don’t do chemtrails over the water like they do over farm land. There’s chemtrails almost every single day I don’t have the privilege of seeing a blue sky. Your blue sky was amazing!
Would love if your camera or gimbal could move a little slower as the items that I do want to see is out of focus. However when you do go slower the focus is great! Love your videos
Always very interesting to see the historical items with the bits of background info you provide. You're developing a lot of skill delivering a commentary over the film, tricky to do!
A couple I follow on UA-cam, Robert and Jyrki (Charente Living), have just set up an Etsy shop to sell small items they find in brocantes - sticking to small stuff to keep the cost and the price of shipping low. If you're after small pieces particularly it may be worth checking out from time to time.
Habitat for humanity has a lot of antique furniture that is very inexpensive ⛵️
That is a great point and I might take us there I know there is one in Falmouth and Dennis I believe. Good spot for building things too!
Could you do a clamming video of you digging clams in the area you live in.
maybe this summer I'll do that or get some B roll to put in a video, we've plenty of old clam racks and baskets about that's for sure :)
Missing you. Are you healthy and happy?
I am , I've just been so busy. I should make a quick short to tell all I'm fine, but Life happens and before you know it I'm at the end of July already :) I hope you are well.
@@DonnaDavisArt I’m just fine. Luckily I have 3 air conditioners so I am able to be comfortable and cool. Will look forward to one of your videos. Take care.
Where was this?
It's in a town just off Cape called Wareham and the shop is Not Your Average Antiques, I'm sorry I thought I said in the video, but may have forgot ;)
