For the first 1.5 years of being natural I had my hair curly cut, and it was the worse thing ever. Not only was my hair not properly cut during trims (i still had split ends after the cut), it looked crazy when I did stretch styles. I always do my trims on blown dried hair...gives the best results curly, stretched, straight, puff, etc 😊
You’re completely right. Hair is more forgiving when curly and you cannot see all the bad ends. I went 3.5 years cutting my own hair curly. Then I started see a lot of thin ends when I blew it out. Luckily, it was not much due to how I looked after my hair. Moving forward it is professional cuts for me. I think a lot of the natural hair community have also realised this too.
You can't say big chop and not expect me to choke loll. I was like "I've been keeping up, did I still manage to miss something lol!?" I need a trim myself though. Waiting to get it done before I get these knotless braids closer to my delivery date :D. The two braids are always so cute!

I love your hair, I am thinking about going natural. The only reason at around thirteen when my mom said that she wasn't going to do my hair anymore. So I had to do my own hair, and I decided to go relaxer because my hair was so thick like yours and now I regret doing so. I still have length, but I messed naturally.
You don't use a blowdryer but you will and when you do use the one with the comb out! Because your hair will thicken and then it just all depends on how good ìt is! the
