Yeah I'm surprised and glad it's back up. I have an og copy. I may buy the new one just for the cover though. The og one is simply a dark grey untextured book, which looks very cool, with no cover.

I noticed that she got some really nasty comments when she appeared on the channel. Certainly only a small minority of assholes but I don't blame her for not wanting to be in videos

Magnus underestimates how much people just wanna see a master doing his work, just commenting and low stress. I mean look at all those sam sulik video's or just random Carpenters and the amount of views they get. This is a gold mine and I'm not sure he is aware 😅

Man, can't remember a Magnus video, where he failed that often. But I do really like it a lot. It's way more relateable than the usual superhero cuts. It makes me think, that even a superhero like Magnus needs to try hard sometimes. Thanks man. ❤
My favorite video of his was when he was projecting a v11 and v12 and was failing over and over again until he finally got it
It's always been a feature of his gym videos. Try, fail, try again, fail again, keep trying....get it...or not. He's never pretended to flash everything. Watching him figuring out a difficult boulder & sharing his thought process is one of the things that makes his videos so interesting. I've learned so much just by watching the process

Main channel: The blockbuster experience. It's got those epic adventures with Magnus that make us all wish we could join in. Or sometimes not.
Here, it is like hanging out with your climbing buddy at the local gym. Chill and relatable. Who hasn't had that "This isn't even hard, why do I keep falling?!" moment? 😅 07:27

I really enjoy this style of filming where you just set the camera down and we can see the whole climb and all the holds/moves. I've noticed when you have a cameraman on your other channel, there's so many cuts on one climb and it kinda takes me out of it.

Hi Magnus, absolutely loved the video as always. Can't wait to grab the book!
I'm a climbing coach from the UK, and I might have some alternative beta for the Black on the slab that took you a few tries. From the end of the dyno position, bring your left foot to the top of the bottom hold, then move your right foot to the foothold above your right hand. Sucking your hips in, reach over with the right hand (like a cartwheel) and press against the 2nd to last hold. bring your left foot to to stand on the sloper, and using the right hand banana sidepull, rockover to the finish.
As we both know, a video never captures what the climb was actually like, as so this could all be rubbish. Love to see it as always though. Enjoy the Holiday!

I thought it was allowed to use the walls in climbing. Is that wall not allowed because there isnt a yellow hold on it? So if it was just one hold there he could use the entire wall?
I also don't see any taped line between walls like they do on comps. If I were in this gym I would have think that I can use that wall.

For me, the most impressive thing during these videos is the endurance of a climber on Magnus level. When I climp I have a steady decline during the session, but it seems like Magnus has no stop! Incredible!
