I always love to watch Alex Megos climb. There is something so relaxed about the way he moves. Even compared to other top-level climbers, he makes things look effortless. And he keeps that even when he tries his hardest. Whenever he falls, it feels like a surprise.
the fact that you do a training session with Megos and it's "only" a second channel video for you is crazy haha. This is the stuff I subscribed for originally, so super stoked we're getting it on the second channel now at least
I'll add some advice to what is said above: Start slowly. Don't try repeating all the crazy things on UA-cam. Allow yourself at least 4-6 months of constant training to reach your natural level. Climb walls in the first 2 months, not bouldering. Up and down, up and down as many times as you can. Bouldering is crazy hard if you start doing it immediately. It can crush your motivation. Don't worry if you fail to do something. Within the first year, progress is usually very, very fast. And avoid injuries as hard as you can. No extra weights, no moves that look stupid in at least 6 months.
Just have fun, dude! Personally I had great fun starting bouldering. It seems easy to start, for me at least, 'cause there is not this imposing wall before you, there is no business with ropes and you can do it by yourself while still meeting loads of people puzzling over problems. You can make your blocks as easy or as difficult as you want, or just find your sweet spot which is just hard enough to work hard. Anyways, people differ, and I love it everyone wades in with their own advice. Climbing is a close-knit well-intentioned but open-minded community. You just do you.
Best thing about it is that bouldering is accesible for all levels with nothing different besides the route on the wall. Tip, if available, attend a starting lesson/class. Some direct feedback on your posture on the wall is generally very useful
You and Alex are so enjoyable to watch since you guys both have the super laid-back, chill kind of energy. Nothing beats reclining back into my chair and sipping on my coffee while I watch you both climb
I recently got a pretty bad pulley injury so I’ve been living vicariously through your climbing videos! They are an absolute blast to watch and make me more and more excited to get back into climbing once my finger heals! Keep up the amazing content!
I'm legitimately so happy to find this channel, and see you on the kilter board. One of my first videos of yours was right after covid and seeing you on it, and its opened my eyes on climbing! ps mention this channel more! i an already tell im gonna binge most of these vids, and im sure most of your audience would love this!
Loved this video Magnus. I'm happy that you Collab again with Alex Megos. This kilter board session was fire. I'm doing climbing for 5 months. Love you from Pakistan Magnus
I've been watching Magnus for a couple of years now, and it's very unusual for someone to make him look sorta weak in comparison. Alex is just a straight up beast.
I love this kind of video it went so fast from extreme sike and happiness to some real talk and back again. I also like the way you and Cordi bounce off each other. You can just feal the radiant happiness
Kilterboarding has become my favourite type of climbing. It's very useful in training, as you can quite easily push your limits on this. Also, I think the kilterboard is pretty okay for the skin
Thank you! We tried to find the ideal texture for the holds to make it so you had friction but could still have full sessions without ruining yourself. New boards can be a bit crisp but then they settle in to a nice texture as long as people brush!
Love the vid and the collabs with Alex, as well as this second channel! Well, the feeling you get watching him climb is the same as us lowly mortals get watching you 😂 (ps: as a med geek I can't help noticing Alex's freakish infraspinatus and teres minor in the video's cover, those must be some crazy bulletproof shoulders! Good luck to him for the Olympics!)
This was great! Would love to see more like this. (Obviously doing a collab with Megos is awesome, but I'd enjoy watching videos of hard kilter board sessions with any strong climber!)
Magnus: “I’ll try, too. For reference.” As a reference for who?! What segment of the climbing community are you trying to represent? Those of us who have medaled in world cups? 😂
Hi Magnus, congratulations on the videos you make, the quality you put into each one of them is incredible. It's amazing to see young athletes and some who have left the scene a little but all of them are super strong! It would be incredible if you could do a collaboration with Nalle, he's already old and not much in the spotlight of climbing today as such but he's an incredible climber who I followed since he was young. It would be incredible to see them climb together and learn more about what he does today. Greetings and congratulations.
Insane moves, can't even imagine how hard these must be. Good luck in the Olympics! Would be nice if you could follow and build content from the competition and the climbers experience there.
Submission looks like pure tension. 360×360 crazy creative. I've climbed on Webbs boulders at TBA in Chatt. They were so good. Do a tension 2 board episode please! Great vid
Personally, I would love too see a video of Alex and Magnus only doing Explosive Double Dinos and Campus challenges on boulders/ or even better, on top rope.
Man Megos is morpho in the best way possible. The guy is just built to climb. Would be a tragedy to the world if he ended up being a piano player or something.
Magnus please never stop I love this second channel 🙌

YES tell him.

Agree. For me he’s the male equivalent of Jain Kim. Super smooth, controlled and flowy style.
His climbing style reminds me of a three-toed sloth, albeit probably one that has been training
cuz his fingers are so damn strong, he can generate for moves from more relaxed positions
"The top is okay" says Alex as he does several insane 360 campus moves.
180.. would love to see some 360s though 😂
HELL YESS! Kilter Session with Megos, now I can happily fade away, AFTER watching this one^^
the fact that you do a training session with Megos and it's "only" a second channel video for you is crazy haha. This is the stuff I subscribed for originally, so super stoked we're getting it on the second channel now at least
Alex is on the main channel too though
@@boogaloo4640 Yep
The truth is Magnus has more clout than the world class climbers now except Honnold.
I just did my first of many climbing session yesterday all because of your videos. Thank you for the motivation Magnus! Love your content.
Be aware! You might be addicted for life ....
Also mind your ankles especially when campusing I sprained each once within 4 months.

Just two guys trying hard and having fun! The more simple video, the more fun! 🤟
Two guys, one board, much fun.
11:40 Alex, "aarh"
Magnus, "OMG how effortless you made that look"
6:37, Magnus referring to South Korean Olympian as “this guy on IG” 😂
Alex finishes every sentence with his signature giggle … love this!
I love the collab with Alex! I'd love to see you guys climb in the Frankenjura together on some of Alex favorite climbs.
This would be awesome!!! ❤
Very kind of Magnus to give this up-and-coming young gentleman a platform!
😂
I'd say he has some potential
@@HourRomanticist Yeah, he's pretty good. Maybe he'll climb the ranks one day
🤣😂

its incredible how fluent and easy you guys make a 7c look. mindblowing.
blessed to be able to watch a new More Magnus upload while eating
It's gotta be crazy being the guys who depict what's humanly possible.
And they’re so casual about it lol
I recently got a pretty bad pulley injury so I’ve been living vicariously through your climbing videos! They are an absolute blast to watch and make me more and more excited to get back into climbing once my finger heals! Keep up the amazing content!
The two little fans at around 8:00 were in awe of you two 😮 Great video Magnus, good luck for the next ones
Magnus liking and or responding to like every other comment is the cutest thing, so nice to see

first boulder is actually "stabile seitenlage" V8 @50°, for anyone who couldn't find it!
Thanks you, was just going to comment about this.
We've just got a new kilterboard in my gym, perfect timing, thank you guys! 😄 You make it look so easy ;)
I enjoy both channels. This often is my favourite. Good to see these elite climbers challenged.
I love everything about this. You guys have really solid chemistry !
Dang, I've been really hoping for this video to come out and it is!!! So exciting to see!!
I've been watching Magnus for a couple of years now, and it's very unusual for someone to make him look sorta weak in comparison. Alex is just a straight up beast.
Chill climbs on this channel are the best!
my 2 fav rock climbers in 1 video
I love this kind of video it went so fast from extreme sike and happiness to some real talk and back again. I also like the way you and Cordi bounce off each other. You can just feal the radiant happiness
Wrong video? This is Magnus, not Emil
i love this combo .
i hope you upload more videos like this on all your accounts 🙌
Kilterboarding has become my favourite type of climbing. It's very useful in training, as you can quite easily push your limits on this. Also, I think the kilterboard is pretty okay for the skin
My favorite board so far by far. Only tried moon (2016, 2017) and tb 1 though.

Crazy strength 🤯🤯
Crazy how easy you make those moves look

Damn, just wanted this video to never end - but I guess it must when climbing this hard on 50 degrees 😮
Nice more content with Alex - great
what a sick suprise upload
With t-shirts? Of course it was hard!
Was hoping for lead but I'm not complaining
What to call them….Magnos? Megnus? Great collaboration!
top quality content as always!
Just finished Magnus'es autobiography. I put it off for reasons but shot through most of it in half a day, worth getting if you can.
For the algorithm
No wonder he’s so strong! He’s always doing mini curls while standing still.
love the vids so far
This is amazing
BOOM, another one!
Great video content. Thanks! 👍
Alex is a Bavarian Chad, I love him. Would love to see you two climb outdoors together sometime ❤
2nd channel is unironically better than the original. I understand why you have to do two though!
Man, Alex is built like a freaking tank.
yesss, i liked this alot!
Alex needs to participate in a strongman grip competition. I would pay for a ticket to see that
that 360 "instagram guy" = Dohyun Lee's second account
I would love to see you project a hard one and film multiple sessions in one video.
More Magnus and more Alex!
I guess I have an agenda for my next Kilterboard session. These boulders look nice, haha ;)
cant wait for the @wheelrock / magnus board sesh
Honestly it’s nice to remember that even some of the strongest among us have tough sessions.
Glad to know that the sandbagging on the kilter starts at the bottom and goes to the top XD
