BEAR BAITING WISCONSIN| MID-AUGUST

A trip to the cabin mid-August to rebait our bear hunting sites. Good bear hitting all the baits. Just need to keep them hitting the baits during the day for another couple weeks!! Season is almost here!!

Awesome. Good luck guys! You're right about things changing coming into September. Never fails. You have to deal with more human activity, mast crops like acorns, hazel nuts, choke cherries, blackberies, bow hunters dumping corn or dog hunters placing roadside candies. They have a never ending supply of food for a few weeks. It all can be frustrating and maddening! Patience and seat time will pay off! 👍

If your muddy solar panels are like Tactacam, you have to recharge them every few months. good luck hunting.

If I heard correctly you live by Princeton? If so that is close by me in Waupun. Best of luck this year on the bear hunt. I go myself this year on a tag transfer. Next week can't come soon enough.
