Cool tips! Thank you! We always forget that our ears have different sensitivity to different frequencies. I use to follow a brownian noise "line", with a tilt of -6 or -9 db less bass, depending on the music genre. It kind of mimics the way we perceive equally all frequency spectrum. Then, try and have all mixed frequencies closely aligned to that. Instruments, and full mix. Believe me... it makes a world of a difference. This might be hard to understand, but it's not easy to explain it much further on a simple "youtube comment"
