To be fair, look at what he wears versus what everyone else wears. Johnny is 6-4 against Liu in matchup. Also, Johnny is a top 5 character right now. However, Cages been the answer for Liu. Sonic picked him up just to have answer for NK’s Liu.

It’s not that Johnny is Lui’s counterpick, it’s the fact that Johnny has tools that don’t allow Lui to carry On with His bullshit. Lui players don’t like to give turns. This wasn’t even the new variation so Ninjakilla is more than familiar with this Match up. Johnny in the hands of sonic is a next level thing.

@@iLLCadence the whole set was close tho it's not like he whupped his ass for the 2-0 or sonic whupped him for the comeback it was a hard fought match on either side ninja had the advantage and sonic played his way back in narrowly both rounds he won were very close the comeback came down to a combo break and the match round was 1-1 so again. Where was the choke it was a very competitive match the whole time. Dragon straight got his shit pushed in afterwards

I think Johnnys main weakness is female hurtboxes, that being said, he is a beast, not to mention the variation Sonic was playing keeps all the damage unbreakable.
Liu also has amazing pressure and mind games, KB for days and pretty decent damage on combos, his f4 got nerfed but it is still good and he still has another good mid to play with and some plus frames cuz he deserves it all.
I'd say Cage is kinda cheap against Liu cuz he makes Liu whiff most of his main pressure when Cage is crouch blocking, Cage also has the neutral advantage

His Liu Kang is freakin AMAZING.
Anyone complaining about characters is strange, Fox being able to play enough characters at a high enough level to counter Ninjakiller is skill. At the same time calling Liu cheap doesn’t make sense as he’s available to everyone. The match was won by the guy who played MK 11 better, the character’s are irrelevant.
Mk11 has its flaws i think they should iron out. For instance, jumping over an opponent and kicking him while hes clearly behind doesnt make sense to me. It happens more than we think.

Jordan Johnson rivalry in terms this is the only person consistently beating him. Rewind won that tournament. But sonic got washed in MKX, washed in MK11 wit his jacqui and washed at dreamhack. Vice versa nina got destroyed here and other times in the past. Rivalry because who else can beat sonic 3-0 and force him to switch characters since MK11 came out.
