For the inventor of such a brutal, violent and inappropriate video game, Ed Boon seems like such a nice caring guy who cares and appreciates his staff
It wasn't just him for the first5 though, he had tons of help with other developers who endorsed and signed on to help him. Don't forget about John Tobias, the other founder and creator alongside Boon, who decided to retire.

Video games, really. In fact, it was so impactful it led to the 90s panic of video game violence... think it even went up to the Supreme Court here in America. If they hadn't win that case, we'd have banned basically most graphic violence in video games. Think about how many video games you love that has violence in it!
I bet he is proud. I remember when my dad had a ps1 and he had mk trilogy for it. We used to play it together all the time. Then the ps2 came out and there was shoilin monks, armaggedon, deadly alliance, deception. Even had played god of war i still thought this was one of the goriest and violent games. I have my own daughter and i wanna get that 1 up arcade with the trilogy on it for us to play. Because of boon i love fighting games. Because of my dad i love fighting games. I love tekken, street fighter, mk, dragon ball fighterz, injustice.

Mr. Tuba I think the problem is the legs. Arms are a completely different story compared to horse-like legs. So I don’t see how it’s a lie
@@RhineStone46 legs literally have about 50% less mobility than arms, horse legs even more so. They don't shift at the hips, they don't have wrists. Looking at the chart here, kollectors arms perform at least 10 more moving functions than horse legs
It's not that it's impossible, it's that it would cost a lot to model him. It's not worth it to put that much money and effort into a character that hasn't been relevant since MK3, and, actually, wasn't relevant... ever.
Ed Boon is such a gracious gentleman. He has brought so many of us joy and here he is bringing us even more, even though none of us deserve any of it.

When I played MK Armaggedon, I created a fighter called "Phoenok" his story is that he was betrayed by his own men and thrown into a valcano where his soul merged with the energy of a Phoenix and was able to raise again. This is why I wish they'd bring back create a fighter and anamalities also

So glad I took care of all my systems growing up in the 80’s and 90’s… it’s nice to be able to play 11 with my son but then throw on 1,2, or 3 and have fun with the nostalgia. Kabal was so easy in 3.
Ed Boo is great because you can tell he is as much of a fan of the mortal kombat series as any fan. He really seems like he has fun creating these characters.

Mario was the same way. The overalls and moustache made it easier to visually understand the limited sprite. Wouldn't surprise me if many games had such issues.
The lore came out of them explaining away glitches and oddities. So unique.
