Just curious if you know if this is the same/similar. I have a 1999 Dyna Low rider with the narrow glide front end and have been thinking of putting a mid glide conversion kit on. Just take off the fender, wheel and calipers slide out the fork tubes and slide new ones in place into the new trees?
From top of tree to top of the flange on the bolt. Measures .250 to .380 of inch. Lowering the front end then same measurement to 1 inch. Pinch bolts torque to 31-34 ft-lbs
hey I want to just change the fork oil on my 2003 V ROD. I am only worried about making sure I put them back on correctly. Is there sure fire way to know i am putting them back on the correct way and or the right hight?
Read the book. It is easy. people run the tube up 1 inch to lower the front end. If yo want to go stock. just measure the height out of tree and put it back in. If you are off just a tad, no big deal. Remeber the forks absorbs up and down.
Thank you for taking the time to produce and provide your videos
