We visited Arcos de la Frontera and stayed in Casa Grande. It was AMAZING. I can't wait to go back. Your hotel had beautiful views like ours did. AND, we actually found parking up in the same area you did. We had a rental car with a clutch that was malfunctioning, so getting to the top of the hill was a stomach churning adventure. When I saw your shot of Taberna Jovenes, I jumped. We had a lovely lunch there. We also had an amazing dinner at Restaurante Aljibe.
Thanks, Peter, the Casa Grande is quite close to the hotel where we stayed, the views from up there are incredible, aren't they? Taberna Jóvenes is great, it was busy on the day we visited Arcos, but we had been there on a previous visit. All the best.
Hola Tony! I chanced upon your video as I was doing research for my Spain holiday in autumn this year. I think your content & style is brilliant and very very useful for people like me who enjoy the process of planning their holiday! Many thanks for your work! I will be watching most of your videos from now until then!
Wonderful video, everything very well produced, as always! What a beautiful place 👏. I loved the Convento hotel, with (a lot) wind! I loved everything! 😍
For those who don't want to drive through the narrow streets, Arcos has an underground parking garage at the bottom of the town. I also strongly suggest taking the road south of the town to get full views of the old town perched on the cliff.
Thanks for your interesting video. We are planning to move to Andalucia soon and on our shortlist where to live are Coin, Alhaurin el Grande, Alhaurin de la Torre, Velez-Malaga and Jerez. So sad that none of your videos includes one of these towns. Or did I miss a video? The towns in this video are beautiful, but only to visit not to live there (for us). Too hilly (we don´t become younger) and impossible to find a townhouse in the city center with a garage.
Thank you! It is a question of focus. This is a channel about tourism in Spain and Portugal, what might be relevant to someone seeking to settle in Spain it is not of interest to us.
Hello, thank you for your very good videos. I have a plan to travel to Spain with a camper for the first 10 days of April. May I know what route you suggest?
We don't have any material yet for camper vans, but you can check out our ready to use itineraries here: ua-cam.com/play/PLWH9E2sQGItr17PbqSG8dQu2DemEez3Ql.html
@@shahrzadnaseri-li6vf any region of Spain would be fine, but Semana Santa (Easter Week) happens at the beginning of April which means cities were the celebration is very traditional will be very crowded.
Hola Tony - we have been watching your videos for a year, and have finally booked our first trip to Spain. We want to do this road trip but we will be there during Holy Week. Will this pose a big challenge? Thank you in advance!
Hello Erin. Easter is a hectic time in Andalusia, due to the processions, you might find whole areas of the villages are closed off to traffic. It is a bit of a trade off. You don't get to do tourism as usual but, on the other had, you get to see an incredible tradition.

We mention the car park on the video, where we also advised against driving to the centre of Arcos.
