OH man.... that opening jam... that was quite simply sublime!!!! Pete and Ariel, just a match made in heaven. MAKE A DAMN ALBUM already you two! Ariel I know you're in another band, but lets face the harsh reality, they ain't going to amount to anything... ;oD
Micah Berlow OK Sarcasm 101 I know the Bros Landreth, I know they're doing amazingly well and deservedly so as they're an incredibly talented band. I was implying it was otherwise for comic effect as I just said Ariel and Pete should do an album (knowing full well Ariel has several full time gigs). I thought the little winking face thing at the end would have been a bit of a give away but I guess not... ;oD
Ariel and Pete is straight in at number two on our chart of Best Andertons Pairings I reckon. Mick and Pete's chemistry still keeps them at the top. These guitars look superb by the way.
Thank you for instantly granting my wish for new guitar videos on Paradiso which inspire some nice jams. I'll just rewind and get another dose of the opening jam. You're awesome, all of you Anderton's guys - no matter which part you're playing in the production.
How on earth did the Jazzmaster not become a standard instrument for Blues in the 60's to present day is beyond me. Such great tone. So smooth yet has more bite when you need it.
John Hardin I bought one of these last weekend and it's an absolutely lovely guitar! If you are seriously considering getting a jag you should totally try one of these out, you won't be disappointed! Then again I haven't played the Jonny Marr signature and there are a lot of guitars to choose from for this sort of price range but 10/10 would recommend
I agree. thanks for the tip about PrimeTone picks. The PrimeTone .73 pick is close to the sound of finger picking, almost zero "plastic on string attack click" sound.
Bravo gentlemen excellent review, these guitars are all about cleans and you both displayed their charms admirably. Some sublime playing on show too......thanks
I love how Ariel pushed Pete on in the intro and Pete responded. I recently purchased a fender american professional telecaster butterscotch ash and it is a really good guitar. a bit of neck dive though.
The very best demo of these two guitars I've heard so far . . and the way they should be played, without the standard obligatory "surf" guitar riffs. Thanks guys.
Ariel has defo popped his andertons cherry. Awesome stuff, from both of you. Pete knocked it out the park with the best (loudest) shirt in paradiso history.
I have that exact Jaguar that Pete is playing and I love it, so versatile and great tone. After watching this I can’t get over how good that Jazzmaster sounds. Ariel could pull great tone out of a fence post. Just amazing skill and feel from both guys. Videos like this make it very hard to click on a Rob Chapman video only to hear that annoying two note bend at the end of every robotic, gain soaked scale shred.
100+ Thumbs up. One of the best Andertons vids i'v watched. Gifted guitarists!!! ...and not to forget: Nice to listen to other sounds than shredding. Soooo pleasing. Greets from Germany El
This is one of the best demo jams in andertons history guys!!!!! Soulful, tasteful, I'm gonna download this to chillout while I'm drivin' or when my girlfriend comes home. Make a record of it you guys!!!
Ariel made me smile and watch and listen in awe the entire time, so much so that I just bought that exact Jazzmaster, but left handed. So happy Fender thought of us lefties this time around.
Been absolutely drooling over that jazzmaster ever since I found out it's coming. Well, watching this didn't help... I just NEED one! Great demo video guys!
Okay, i think it's official now. Danish Pete is now my second favorite guitar player. After EVH, because, well, i go back with those songs to 1979. But, christ on a bike, i can't think of anyone else i'd rather hear just messin' around. "Tasty" is right. Bona fide.
Maple VS. Rosewood tone is in the construction of the neck how I see it. The rosewood slab being glued to the maple may deaden the vibrations or amplify them as opposed to the way a maple neck and truss rod are installed. At least on a Fender. I'd like to see a test done with a maple slab neck like music man does vs Fender's "skunk stripe" routing.
I'm so glad more people are giving the Jazzmaster some love. Seriously an underrated instrument! Kinda miss the second circuit on this particular model though.
The controls on the Vintera jaguar are so complex, and exclude having the two pickups in phase, which is the best and unique sound of the classic mustang and jaguar. The other off phase positions remain very niche. But the Am Pro has the right controls. Absolute beauty.
I dig the new Jag's phase switch. Wonder why Fender didn't do the same with the Jazzmaster? (If you guys address this later in the video (I'm at 3:50) good on ya!)
I enjoy their playing style more than Chappers and the Captain
Ariel has quickly become my favourite guitarist on the channel, everything he plays just sounds so sweet
Ariel and that jazzmaster really connected there. what a glorious noise!
Best Anderton's demo ever. Ariel is next level.
OH man.... that opening jam... that was quite simply sublime!!!! Pete and Ariel, just a match made in heaven.
MAKE A DAMN ALBUM already you two!
Ariel I know you're in another band, but lets face the harsh reality, they ain't going to amount to anything... ;oD
neuk01642 incorrect, they're doing great
Micah Berlow

neuk01642 Eh. That's just Pete bringing out the best in everyone. If Ariel sticks with him, he might make it someday! 😎
what's ariel's band name ?
Ariel and Pete is straight in at number two on our chart of Best Andertons Pairings I reckon. Mick and Pete's chemistry still keeps them at the top.
These guitars look superb by the way.
smwatson1512 Pete and Rabea is the best
Nah man what about rabies and mat. Sounds like is dank
*rabea omg
Ethan McGowan LMAO RABIES HE DID HIM DIRTY
Wow. Pete and Ariel have such incredible musical chemistry!
Honestly one of the best demos I've ever seen from Andertons. Very impressive.
Pete has music oozing out of every pore. He comes up with something new every time.
woah that intro jam needs to be part of some sort of album, Pete and Ariel never stops amazing me
Nothing beats watching Pete play, always on point! 👌🏻
1 year ago. my jaw still drops at the outro. Absolute gold guys!
Thank you for instantly granting my wish for new guitar videos on Paradiso which inspire some nice jams. I'll just rewind and get another dose of the opening jam. You're awesome, all of you Anderton's guys - no matter which part you're playing in the production.
I love it when the guys get a product that they really like. It definitely shows in their playing. Well done both of you!
How on earth did the Jazzmaster not become a standard instrument for Blues in the 60's to present day is beyond me. Such great tone. So smooth yet has more bite when you need it.
I thought I was blown away by the intro, but that outro... Lord
Those guitars really sing! Sublime playing both of you!
Saw Ariel playing - clicked 'like' instantly.
And now I have to buy a Jaguar......damn it.
Johnny Marr signature Jaguar might be a better one to get. Check it out.
John Hardin I bought one of these last weekend and it's an absolutely lovely guitar! If you are seriously considering getting a jag you should totally try one of these out, you won't be disappointed! @@JohnShalamskas Not with vintage frets and a 7.25 radius
@@hanskung3278 I mean sure it's not ideal for most people but it's still a fun guitar and I know that because I tried one at my local guitar store
@@JohnShalamskas Neck to thick
They played for almost six minutes and I didn't even notice till they finished. mesmerizing playing. 😎
Watched like 40 videos to convince myself to buy a jazzmaster. Came in here and got sold on the jaguar right away.
Thanks for the Dunlop Prime Tone pick, best I have ever used.
I agree. thanks for the tip about PrimeTone picks. The PrimeTone .73 pick is close to the sound of finger picking, almost zero "plastic on string attack click" sound.
Man these boys can play and know a thing or 2 about tone! Well done. I could listen to this for days.
That new Jazz is the sweetest looking Fender in a long while
Hey guys-that was the best demo comparison of the new Fenders (jazzj master & jag ) I've seen yet. Sold! Thanks!
Good lord! That was some exceptional guitar playing. Could listen to them two jam for so long.
The Force is stroooong with these 2 when they jam, holy smokes!!! Well done mates, I want that jazzmaster now!!
That outright rhythm playing by Ariel was so amazing. Jaguars have to be one of the best sounding guitars ever.
Bravo gentlemen excellent review, these guitars are all about cleans and you both displayed their charms admirably. Some sublime playing on show too......thanks
I just fell in love with that Jazzmaster
I could write a 200 page book about how much I love this channel. And videos like these are the reason for it. Please keep up the good work.
Ariel and Pete should make more videos. They are awesome!
Going out on a limb here but this was the most moving inspiring jam iv heard in sometime..that last one was like a knife right thru my heart..
This opening jam is KILLER! Great demo overall. I'm loving that phase switch on the Jaguar.
I love how Ariel pushed Pete on in the intro and Pete responded. I recently purchased a fender american professional telecaster butterscotch ash and it is a really good guitar. a bit of neck dive though.
That was probably the best intro I've ever heard on the channel yet
Great opening Jam.... simply great
Pete's jam always amazing. Especially the telecaster one with Rabea.
The synergy you guys have is great. Keep the videos coming
The very best demo of these two guitars I've heard so far . . and the way they should be played, without the standard obligatory "surf" guitar riffs. Thanks guys.

Tasty playing boys -- I want both now.

Picked up one of these jags last weekend. There absolutely beautiful guitars, would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of buying one
Highly considering getting one now, what are your thoughts on it now man?
The playing in this video... As soon as I finish typing I need to go break all my fingers. That Jag is pretty stinkin' awesome!
love the new switching on the jaguar, dont know about other people.
100+ Thumbs up.
One of the best Andertons vids i'v watched. Gifted guitarists!!!
...and not to forget:
Nice to listen to other sounds than shredding. Soooo pleasing.

Good lord, first time I've ever felt Pete wasn't the best guitarist on the channel. Two incredible guitarists.
The jams in this video are incredible.
You guys dress and play well together!
I've never really cared much for the Jazzmaster but in Pete's hands plugged into the fender amp it's sounds stunning.
jeez, keep comin back to this one... these two play so damn tasty
really really really marvelous tones. thanks God for listening till the end of the video.
Wow! Goosebumps!!!!! Best jam demo ever!!!!
Both of these gentlemen are mighty fine players that's for sure
Some wonderful jams on this one, gentlemen.
Been absolutely drooling over that jazzmaster ever since I found out it's coming. Well, watching this didn't help... I just NEED one! Great demo video guys!
F*ck! You just sold me a Jaguar! I'm hooked badly.
Ariel & Pete the playing was a joy to listen to!
Great review
Fantastic demo guys, thank you. Love your playing, inspirational!
opening Jam is too awesome. Bravo.
Great opening jam! That sounded awesome.
Beautiful playing guys, thanks!
I think Pete will just work amazingly with anyone on earth who plays guitar
Wow.... best opening jam ever!!!
Where's the new sounds like?
Favorite video on UA-cam. Danish Pete and Ariel are the perfect duo.
Ariel's got some serious chops. Love those little trem flicks. Both of those guitars sound fabulous" but I've never been sold on the offset shape.
You guys should take some of your opening jams and put them on an album! This one was amazing.
Okay, i think it's official now. Danish Pete is now my second favorite guitar player. After EVH, because, well, i go back with those songs to 1979. But, christ on a bike, i can't think of anyone else i'd rather hear just messin' around. "Tasty" is right. Bona fide.
Some AWESOME playing on two AWESOME guitars!!
Such great playing. Pete's the most consistently interesting and tasteful, but I bet he's kept on his toes by the other great players there.
So much eargasm! Love the playing

Both of these guys are next level good...awesome tone and phrasing.....
Guys I can't describe how much I enjoyed this episode, thanks!
Some classy jamming going down boys!!!!
Ariel and Danish Pete together is guaranteed fun. Wow.
This Jazzmaster is a killer guitar! The guy is a great player which makes it a very pleasant thing to listen to!!! Cheers guys!
After much confusion and half way through you did break into some great jamming.
Pete's face at 30.25! Same as mine, my new favourite guitar noise.
I`m in love with that JAZZ MASTER
I'm so glad more people are giving the Jazzmaster some love. Seriously an underrated instrument! Kinda miss the second circuit on this particular model though.
What a jam!!!! Wow
I thought long and hard how to express the awesome-ness of the opening intro but all I can come up with is: Fuck. Me.
The controls on the Vintera jaguar are so complex, and exclude having the two pickups in phase, which is the best and unique sound of the classic mustang and jaguar. The other off phase positions remain very niche. But the Am Pro has the right controls. Absolute beauty.
guys come on now you are really spoiling us with these jams
That opening jam was amazing. Anyone work out the chords?
Super tasty playing, killer tones, now I need a jazzmaster.
E, F#7add4, B7sus4
Hello, thank you for awesome review!
btw, do you think 1 and 6 strings are too close to the edge of the neck?
That ending jam was money!
Good tasteful playing that suits these guitars - thank you.
jazzmaster is now too simplificated u.u but looks excelent, and the intro jamming sounds absolutely excelent, congratulations
Ariel absolutely killed it!!
Love Ariel's playing
I dig the new Jag's phase switch. Wonder why Fender didn't do the same with the Jazzmaster? (If you guys address this later in the video (I'm at 3:50) good on ya!)
Holy crap that intro jam! I need a change of pants.
Opening Jam FTW! I'll take 2
Ooft!! That jaguar/jagwaaarrrr sounds brilliant!
